They were super nice and called a couple of times to ensure they got it right. I love the extra step and detailed customer service. Searched long distance for a local florist online in Tallahassee that I needed for a funeral. I figured if I dealt with a local florist myself, instead of a generic website, that I would be able to get an outcome as good as the advertised picture on their own website. Their prices were in line with other florists in the city. I called and a male answered a few of my questions, but stated that he was dealing with customers, and asked if I could call back in 10-15min so he could look up everything I needed and give me his full attention. I said sure, it was not a problem. When I called back a lady answered the phone and took all of the info for my order. I asked if they could recreate the picture on their site and she said yes. I told her I wanted it just like the photo, and if they couldnt do it, or if the flowers werent in stock, to let me know. Both employees I spoke to were polite. The female was informative about the flowers provided and told me that the colors would not be an exact match to the photo, the ones I would be getting would be lighter. Whenever I called no matter who I spoke to, they were courteous and professional. Their communication via email was also helpful. I was satisfied with the outcome. They did not put the exact number of roses on it that I asked for. That may be a deal breaker for some, but I didnt notice it until looking at a picture of it later on, so that's on me for not noticing it when I went by the store. I was that customer that called in last minute to see if they would still be able to deliver flowers about a hour in a half before closing. they not only were very nice about it but were very kind over the phone. I called 4 places in Tallahassee area and received a bit of an attitude when asked if there was possibility of still doing delivery. My sister received her flowers on time and they were beautiful also exactly what I asked for. I'll be honest I didn't want to spend the amount I actually spent but because of the service I ended up spending more. I couldn't be any happier with their service and going above and beyond to help a customer out. I have family in the area and will continue to bring my business here. Fantastic florist! We hired Hilly Fields to do all the flowers for my wedding last month. They were about two hours late delivering the flowers to the venue which really messed up our schedule for pictures which we had planned to do before the ceremony. Getting our pictures done then felt pretty rushed. Because they were so late, they were still setting up flowers at the altar when guests were starting to arrive. That being said, the flowers and bouquets were beautiful, but a disappointing experience considering the extra money we spent to have them assemble and deliver everything. read more

My dad has been using Hilly Fields for a couple years, but after this past experience I will make sure he never uses them again. My dad sent flowers to me for Valentines Day and the flowers were already wilting by the time they arrived to me. Within two days they were completely dead. Flowers are way too expensive for them to only last two days. It's a waste of money and disappointing for the individual receiving the flowers. read more

My son sent flowers to me and his sister (her first Mother's Day). We had a small issue with the flowers (the arrangements themselves were beautiful). I called Saturday and talked to one of the owners, she gave me some suggestions but said if it didn't work to call them back. Sadly it didn't! I called yesterday and spoke with Dave. He said not a problem and he would have two new arrangements sent out that evening. Believe when I say that they were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. At that time I didn't know about their excellent customer service. I looked at their website, picked the items I liked, and called them to work the details of what exactly I wanted. Over a very busy holiday, so ordered one week in advance. I was sent a confirmation email. Called the evening, of the day of delivery as order had not arrived and it was requested prior to 11:00 AM. Until I called, the order had not been prepared and apparently was lost. They made many excuses, but had no explanation for why one week in advance they still were not able to complete the order appropriately. They did send it out late that night, but it looked like a rush job and they also forgot to add a card stating who it was from. The whole experience was a VERY big disappointment. I would not use them again. They are very unorganized and cannot be trusted to complete quality work. read more
