I went for the chicken + mushroom pide, and it was glorious. It was quite a large pide, and I devoured all of it in less than 5 minutes. I know, because I had finished before my train arrived. The guy behind the counter was very helpful, he rattled off a list of all my options before I settled on the pide. Though I still wouldn't chance the pizza or burgers. The importance of knowing both of them is that they seem to take turns with their specials, so it is worth the effort to compare prices. At lunch time they serve hot fish and chips, prawns, crabs claws, scallops and calamari. They are very generous with their serving size. Sometimes when I have finished my shopping I will stop and buy something to bring home and eat. Definitely a 9/10!

I was in a frantic rush to get to my daughter's school musical and had grabbed a gorgeous bunch of roses with coloured baby's breath. The flowers had been sitting in a jar of water and the bottom half was unwrapped -- and this mattered, because we were giving them to one of the leads in the show who wouldn't finish performing until 9pm. It was only 5:45pm, so the flowers needed to stay hydrated for over three hours before they'd even be received. The in-store florist had already finished for the day and I had no idea what to do. Zeron, who was near the cashiers, came straight outside to help. He grabbed a freezer bag from the fruit section, added water, wrapped the stems in tissue paper, secured it all with a rubber band, then finished the whole thing beautifully with florist paper and a decorative tie. It was creative, practical and looked wonderful. He was calm, quick and genuinely kind the whole time. We made it to the show on time and the flowers were still perfectly fresh when presented after the performance. Zeron is exactly the kind of person who makes a local shop feel like community.
