I come here every year for the Charm City Countdown New Years Eve Celebration. Its a lively event and everyone is extremely happy. The staff put a lot of work into this event to assure that everyone has a great time. The entire hotel is converted into various entertainment areas. They have a DJ, a band, Karaoke, Country music etc., there is something for everyone. Charm City Countdown have a different theme each year but its not mandatory. They have an extensive food menu and various drink specials and speciality drinks. The best part is, when the party is over you take the elevator to your room. Upon arrival, the front desk was hospitable. The hotel seems as if it is undergoing renovations. The carpet was stained, the elevator was being worked on, other rooms were being serviced The breakfast was just okay more like a continental not worth $20. My room was just okay. The furniture showed its age and workmanship. Our room was not cleaned, the bed was made. Trash was still visible, the towels were not replenished. The service and quality was not indicative of the Hilton Brand. read more

This Hilton property is a bit on the dated side. It is nice and well maintained but it is showing a bit of age. Rooms are the normal room. Bed by tv bathroom... the usual. Nothing exceptional. They do have a restaurant in the hotel and they do have room service... even a late night menu that serves until 12 or so. It is a nice stay... could use a bit of updating... but is convenient to the airport for sure! read more

The hotel is close to the airport. The hotel is a little dated but comfortable clean and well kept. They don't have a club lounge but diamond members receive $30 in credits per day. The restaurant and bar are nice and the food is good. Bfast is the standard. You can order from a menu which was my choice food a better option as I don't like the buffet eggs. Now to the best part. The staff and customer service is the best I have seen here in the US. Compares to Japan. Kym and Aron at the front desk are professional, friendly and awesome. I can't say enough good about them and they are excellent when it comes to customer service and the best customer experience. It doesn't stop there. Alex the housekeeper and Yuliya the bartender and server are awesome as well. My room was always clean and well maintained. I ate dinner downstairs for several days because Yuliya did our drinks and food excellent and gives awesome service. So to wrap this up, the customer service at this hotel is Top Notch!! My stay here was very pleasant other than the front desk clerk being MIa for almost 10 mins upon check-in, all the staff is very respectful and professional. Very accommodating. The room was nice and clean with more than enough cook ware and dishes. The ice maker in my freezer didn't work. The staff got me ice and out in a maintenance ticket for the next morning and told me anytime I needed ice to come down. The outside was very nice no litter or random weirdos hanging around. Really great team of staff in the middle of a huge storm. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar, everyone was helpful and friendly. They had a lot of people here with just about every other restaurant in town shut down. In spite of an exhausting time for them and coming into work when just about everyone else got a snow day, they made us all feel welcome. Also, great gym! read more

Probably the worst Hilton in the system! The staff was too lazy to clean my room on a daily basis, as I stayed there for almost 2 weeks. Also the Indian guy in the front counter is very rude and thinks he owns the joint, made me feel unwelcomed. ( just do your job man, nobody is asking your opinion). Unless you need to stay here for one night due to flight out of BWI this would not be my choice for more than one night. It's way over due for updates. They do well due to proximity to BWI and they also have large event space but they really need to invest in themselves. Our room had all we needed for one night so it worked out. There was a gap between door and floor which blasted in cold air. Due to maintenance needs of the hotel, I was concerned something more than wind would come through the gap but luckily nothing that we saw. Parking you pay by an app which is listed in parking area. We did not eat any meals here and I don't think I would. They were getting ready for a large new years event so I'm glad we were checking out before it. My sister and I were here for two nights and attended the charm city countdown NYE party. There were a couple of hiccups but overall we had a great stay. When we first arrived we weren't sure what to do about parking. Parking for NYE was free because of the party and we were given validation codes for that night but they told us we didn't need to go on the app because they wouldn't be checking that night. But we ended up having to pay for 2 nights of parking after all. That kind of sucked but we were tired and didn't feel like arguing about $15. The party itself was fun, but got off to a slow start. We went up to the 11th floor to one of the VIP areas first. There was initially no bartender and then the one that showed up really didn't seem to know how to make any of the specials, and could not make the ones we wanted that had pineapple juice because there was no can opener to open it. The food in this area wasn't labeled so we really didn't know what any of it was, and one of the dishes still had the plastic on it which we had to take off. Once we went downstairs to the main area we ended up having a great time! All the staff at this hotel went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Just walking through the lobby someone was always asking if we were OK, if we needed anything, etc. We had no issues at all, and got free breakfast both days we were there. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Maybe the rooms are a little dated, but ours was clean and comfortable. read more

Not a good start. Night of Dec. 12th, 2024. Shower leaked so called front desk. Someone finally showed hours later to tell me five other rooms had to be shut down in order to fix my leaking shower. So much for fixing leak. Whatever those blinking night lights are, need to be removed. On and off all night long. Alarm clock in room does not work. I found a butter knife in front of my room door so took knife to the cleaning lady and she says to me "I didn't put it there. Great response. read more

We had the best time staying here for our wedding room block. The presidential suite was spacious and perfect for getting ready, the rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the hotel bar and the restaurant buffet breakfast. Also, the convenience to Baltimore, BWI Airport and surrounding areas is perfect. Lisa Bills was the hotel sales manager and she made sure that we had a great experience at the hotel during our wedding weekend. She even gave us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to congratulate us. We would definitely stay here again! read more

Haven't stayed in a regular hotel (as opposed to the various "inns" by the major hotel brands like the Hilton) for a while so this is a change. Stayed here for one night in order to catch an early flight. The room - we had an accessible king room which was the only type left as we booked late on the same day. Room size and furnishings not much different from the inns except no fridge or microwave, so from that standpoint the inns are actually more preferable. Bed has soft padding making it feel like sleeping on marshmallows. What makes it accessible seems to be in just the layout of the bathroom, much less counter space around the sink to provide more room for wheelchairs to maneuver. The lobby is spacious with a bar, restaurant and lots of seating. We ordered takeout from the restaurant (there didn't seem to be any other food options within walking distance) - burger and shrimp quesadilla - burger a bit better than the quesadilla which had way too much cheese. The free shuttle works well - they pick up at both BWI airport and the train station - we arrived on the MARC and just had to call the hotel and the shuttle came pretty quickly. In the morning shuttles leave for BWI every half hour starting from 3:30, quite convenient, with the airport only a couple of miles away. read more

I was going to bump my review back up to 4 stars a few months ago, but between issues with hotel staff and a guest entering my room while I was out, is unacceptable. I gave them another try after that but found though they say no cleaning staff enters your room unless requested, I still found someone had entered my room and left the lights by the bed on and made the bed, etc. I find their breakfast buffet "rules" very odd and Customer Service in general has gone down hill for sure. Came here for a conference in early November. I'm 77 nights from lifetime diamond.... Hilton is my hotel brand of choice. I will say that there were roaches in two different bathrooms. European ones and an exterminator may be needed. There was hard water knocking or construction which may have lead them to be out those hours. I stayed at this Hilton over the weekend and I must say that some of the amenities were delightful, there were a few things that were irksome. Be forewarned, you need to pay for parking. I am assuming it is because it is in close proximity to one of the commercial long term parking lots for the airport and people wishing to be more thrifty but you have to pay about $15 per night. Also the parking lot is incredibly packed to the point that guests were parking in the fire lane. The hotel itself was sleek and modern with a huge lobby. The rooms were clean and pleasant. It was also quiet even though it there were a lot of guests. My bf and I hated the garbage cans in the room. The best way to describe them is aesthetically pleasing but not very functional. They looked like someone stepped on the rim. It was hard to put anything of substance in it. read more

So this is not my usual hotel brand of choice but about 100 of us were but up here by AMC due to a maintenance issue with our plane. The staff handled this rather well and quickly. They did the same thing a second time when we were brought back an hour later because the following day because the issues were not resolved. The room was comfortable and I honestly had zero complaints.....minus the air conditioning. We weren't seeing eye to high and it may have been user error. We were provided with grab and go meals and the little "shop" they had was a life saver for toiletries and a few beers. We wanted to be near BWI for an early flight and we were very happy with our stay. The airport is 5 minutes away and they are is a complimentary hotel shuttle that departs every 30 minutes starting at 3:30am. There is also free parking. The hotel is large and looks suitable for meetings and weddings. I am an honors member so we stayed on the honors floor. There is an executive lounge and you have to be diamond status to access it. Rooms: beds are comfortable and room was clean and quiet. I like the safety tips on the desk which emphasizes Hilton's commitment to guest safety. We had a shower (no bathtub). Toiletries by Crabtree Evelyn. The only odd thing is the door in the bathroom that bumps into the toilet. There is a refrigerator and coffee machine in the room. We did not have time to dine here yet they offer a buffet breakfast or you can order a la carte.. Overall, I loved the proximity to BWI and good night's sleep at this quiet and comfortable airport hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you! read more

We checked in around midnight and it kind of felt like we were disrupting the night clerks game time. Breakfast was well stocked, but your usual junky carb loaded hotel food. The guy running the breakfast was super friendly and helpful. The manager was very cheerful and so fun! Check out was quick and easy! A few annoyances: 3 people on the check in list - give more than 2 towels! Housekeeping please check the coffee makers! Ours was full of water (who knows how long that's been there) and it didn't have the tray part to put the coffee pack in. You're an AIRPORT hotel, have the shuttle run until at least 1am! I was impressed how the Hilton staff supported Honor Flight 2024! We had a nice comfortable room. However, in the morning the shower hot water was barely warm. The maid service was excellent. The breakfast was good and the coffee was fresh and hot. Generally, the staff was very friendly and courteous. But, there were a couple of interactions that were less than customer-service oriented. These individuals lacked a customer service drive that I've come to expect from Hilton. (No Please's and Thank you's. I was the only customer standing at the front desk and was ignored by the lady (on what appeared to be on her cell phone) until another very helpful. gentleman came out to help me. Kinda disappointing). However, Warren, the shuttle driver, was an exception. He was very professional, friendly and courteous. He was one of my first interactions with this hotel and I was very impressed. I would come back to this hotel next time I'm in the area. read more

I've been staying in over 100 Hilton Hotels within last 20 years and never seen such a dump with extremely unprofessional employees and lack of management. Room service? Forget it! Dirty bathrooms. No Menu in the room. It is a single-employee run hotel (name Sam, speaks with strong Indian accent) that lies, provide false information and completely unprofessional. Stayed here for a week last week. Hotel needs some work for sure. Bed was comfortable but air condoning wouldn't stay cold. Shower was just warm, sink kept clogging when brushing teeth, room safe was nailed shut. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the first night. Food was awful. A car in the parking lot had window smashed and stolen in broad daylight!! No cameras in parking lot right in front of hotel enterance, police couldn't do much. I felt so bad for those folks. I stay here regularly for business. i used to love it but it's gone downhill since the pandemic. The rooms are in need of some tlc. My most recent room had a large tear in the carpet, was missing tiles from the bathroom floor and chrome from the sink handles. The shower had mildew growing in the grout. The bar was great and Jane and Paul treated every guest quickly and with respect. however, Paul appeared to be drunk and was doing shots with guests while working. hopefully Hilton will clean this place up soon. until then, I'll be staying elsewhere read more

This is the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. I've been traveling for 16 years and I am a Diamond member and this hotel is terrible. It's dirty, the staff doesn't care about service, the gym has broken machines, the cook at breakfast leaves your "made to order" omelette on the grill for 5 seconds, and on the weekends the entire hotel smells like marijuanna. The manager Steven is an absolute joke and does nothing to help. I asked for 2 days to have my room serviced, and nothing. Hilton should be ashamed that they have let this hotel be in such horrible condition with a terrible staff. I'll never stay here again and I will never let my company contract rooms or conferences here in the future. Terrible, absolutely terrible. read more

Well, I guess I'm reviewing their customer service rather than the accommodations. We had reserved a room for one night. I explained that our flight didn't arrive until 2am and we would be checking out 7 hours later. I received a message from a "William", saying that I would need to pay for two nights for my 7 hour stay. Needless to say, I cancelled the reservation. No if, ands or buts about it. No accommodation or attempt at resolution of my early morning arrival. I called and left a message for "William" to call me back to discuss...never returned my call. Well, I'm going to call this a "blessing in disguise" as I put no faith in a hotel being properly run/maintained by those who lack customs service etiquette from the start. Sorry, Country Inn & Suites BWI, you will not be getting my hard-earned money. read more

The Hilton BWI Airport hits the wickets from what you would expect and need from any airport based hotel: Warm bed, clean bathroom, and a shuttle service to the airport--or at least it should. The Executive King room we had booked was EXACTLY the same as any other standard room (I know because my friend was staying in one). Although not in as bad as shape as other reviews here show, our room had clear half-effort repairs (stickers over chips on the door, off colored paint, etc.) The floor plan is incredibly poorly thought out as the bathroom door impedes both access to the toilet and the shower (which can be annoying when trying to get ready). Housecleaning only came once during our 3 night visit even though I specifically asked the maid to come by. Next, the executive lounge. Located on the 11th floor, it was conveniently located by our room. However, it felt so thrown together and poorly organized that adding the word "executive" felt like a sham. I've stayed at best westerns with better continental breakfasts. The kitchen/prep room door is open and disorganized. The main gripe my fiancée and I had with our stay here however goes beyond the comfort issues listed above. Flying in late (around 1AM) my fiancée called the front desk to have the shuttle pick her up. Having confirmed the shuttle was coming, she waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes as the front desk was no longer picking up her (or my phone calls). ANOTHER hotel's shuttle noticed how long she had been standing in the cold and dropped her off at our hotel--which was a mere 5 minutes away. Such negligence and poor customer service is atrocious--regardless of whether we are Diamond Members or not. Bottom line. Choose another Hilton property. read more

Aloft is great. Here are some pro's and cons with Aloft in my personal experience. Pros: *Pretty clean *Nice gym *Nice bar/restaurant (when it was used)/great area to play a game of pool *For the most part, good customer service. *I needed a late checkout and the lady working the front was super patient with me about letting me check out late. Cons: *Depending on the shift and/or employees, they are not very attentive because usually they are talking amongst theirselves or sitting at the table by the food area. *I am guessing because it's so big, you do not see housekeeping very much. *No microwaves in the rooms and have to go downstairs to the lobby to heat any food up. *No ice maker. You again have to go downstairs to the food area and there is a little freezer that has bags of ice that are already made up. read more

I stayed at this location for a company travel, I enjoyed my stay. I had just enough time to take a shower get to bed and wake up and catch my early flight back home. I did appreciate that the bed was significantly more comfortable than other locations from this chain I have tried. I also appreciated the safety features that are common in all if not most hotels now. I also appreciated that there were plenty of clean towels available for my disposal. The front staff was very accommodating and very helpful when I arrived very late for check in. The Hilton honors app is definitely the way to go! read more

Buyer Beware. I am a long-time Hilton consumer and stayed at this property many times over the years. It no longer deserves to carry the Hilton name. The hotel has no reserved spaces or any valet services. My wife noted she would feel uncomfortable walking the long unmonitored distance alone. But wait, there's more. Room was not cleaned. Guest Service said our Do Not Disturb was on door. Never put it on. Then in the morning, no hot water. Not the best Hilton product. Did I mention during my last stay that half the lights did not work? I tried to give this property a chance. UPDATE: The property management has reached out to me. My hunch is my complaint to the Diamond Desk gets some action. I do appreciate the quick reasonable resolution for ME. However, I can not book a room here again until WE see some positive turn-around and attempts to rebuild trust. This location needs a lot of work and until I see improvement, I will stay at other Hilton properties when visiting. read more

Despite the proximity on the map, it's actually 2.0 or so miles between the airport and the hotel. That's not a problem as long as you understand that the shuttle ride is going to be ten or fifteen minutes. And on the topic of the shuttle, you do need to call for a pickup. They'll meet you downstairs outside either Door 1 or Door 15. The hotel was very quiet despite being under the runway. I didn't hear any aircraft and the windows didn't vibrate. Well done. There was no noise from the hallway or from neighbors. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Nice water pressure and lots of hot water. It was a quick stay and I did not use the restaurant or the fitness center. I did visit the concierge lounge and it was staffed by a lovely woman who was doing a good job with the snacks and drinks. read more

Excellent business meetings this week at Hilton BWI at 1739 W Nursery Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD!   The location is great, just inside the BWI corridor.  Parking is ample and free, the lobby and lobby restaurant are both very spacious.  The meeting space, down an entire wing of the building, it very large, can accommodate just about any size of group.  The Banquet team is so friendly, helpful, and accommodating.  Super quiet rooms, a great selection of banquet lunches and dinners for any size group, and a very warm and welcoming feel to each room.   We had really outstanding service and accommodations this week for our business meetings held at Hilton BWI at 1739 W Nursery Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD!  Thank you so much to the great team at Hilton BWI. read more

This hotel has great staff, full service bar & restaurant (though the restaurant seating area is closed temporarily), nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and convenient location.
