    Room with Queen Double beds

Great location, very clean, easy to navigate the property, and the staff was nice. The parking situation isn't so ideal, but they offer validated parking for a fee. The room was clean, no loud noise and ultimately a good stay.

Stayed for a summer weekend. Checked in with the mobile app which was convenient and was able to use digital key throughout stay. The front desk was courteous and helpful when providing information about self parking and acknowledging loyalty status. We stayed in a king bedroom which we were able to choose through the app. The walls are thin and hallways echo as people were walking/talking through them. The bed was very comfortable. The room was standard clean and the bathroom did show signs of wear and tear and the shelf where the towels and bath linens were held was so dusty. Housekeeping did clear dirty bath linens during our stay but did not freshen up the room at all. I had to speak to a staff member to get fresh bath linens. We need to go the pool area during the stay and the hotel offers cold water and soda on the pool deck. There weren't any pool towels when we visited but the staff was able to provide some once we requested. The pool wasn't very clean having leaves and debris floating in it so we didn't stay in the water for long. The hotel is in a great central location walking distance to Soda City and other area restaurants. Also near a strip with lounges and bars for late night. And about 15-20 minutes from airport with no traffic. Overall a good stay for a quick weekend trip. We did not have breakfast at the hotel or eat at the adjoining restaurant. Self parking $18 per night

Snow after the Alabama concert last night

Very nice Hilton with a short walk to the arena. We say Alabama last night after a great meal at the Ruth's Chris right in the lobby of the hotel. Walking distance to many businesses. We will have to come back for a longer trip. Oh and it snowed!!

Dirty stained chair covered in matted dust and hair

Terrible quality for the price. Rude staff that is clearly fed up with their jobs! Not at all customer service oriented! I watched Andrew speak so dismissive to an older gentleman in line ahead of me!! I paid extra for breakfast included and continuously had to "prove" this through email confirmation! The "hostess" at breakfast was so rude. I would definitely go out of my way to recommend everyone to pick a different hotel based solely on quality and cost! I'm beyond disappointed in our stay! I could have had a very similar experience at Holiday Inn and possibly had better service and an updated room! Very very disappointing!

    Is this hotel pet friendly?

I believe the answer is essentially 'no' but I would call and ask to be sure. I have stayed here many times- once it was during a hurricane evacuation and on that visit I saw people with dogs. I heard people say that during an evacuation they accept…

Paid for valet parking but I waited 30 minutes in above 90 degree temp. Eventually I found a parking spot and parked my vehicle myself. 2. Note*** I called the front desk and corporate. Both told me that valet parking is an independently contractor and that they couldn't help me. 2. 6/12/2026 coffee pot in room wasn't working and there was no hot water. 3. When I personally informed Management (face to face) that I would be checking out around 5:15-5:30 am, I was nicely told that my vehicle would be brought to the front of the building. Additionally, I called downstairs around 7-8 pm to remind the front desk that I needed the vehicle brought to the front of the building for the early checkout and was assured that this would be done. However, upon checking out, I once again had to retrieve my vehicle myself from where I previously parked.

The tv is so slow it took 20 minutes just for it to connect to the one tv streaming service it lets you use that you already pay for (Netflix). There's no cheaper parking around so you're spending $20/day there which is fine but wifi in 2026 not being included with your room stay is a cash grab. Oh and their elevator is broken because someone pushed a button too hard and now it's stuck. Hope whoever visits has good phone service otherwise you're sol and will have to pay for wifi per day because the hotel is too cheap to even offer that. Should've just stayed at a motel at least there you get what you pay for.

They let me put my bag down in a room while I stepped out for lunch. I returned later to a clean and beautiful room (The Gervais) on the bottom floor. It had a very comfy bed, desk area, small TV, closet, and bathroom with both a shower and claw footed tub. Besides the cozy room, there was a big living area that always had soft drinks, water, snacks, and even wine at the ready. For breakfast, I enjoyed some yogurt and fruit. One of my favorite parts of the inn was all of the art on the wall. Most of it is for sale from local artists and you're invited to walk around the different rooms that are not occupied to take a look. There was a small parking lot in the back. In the evening, I had dinner on Main Street and opted to have a nice walk which took about 15 minutes. Perfect location! I only stayed for one night but would certainly love to return for longer.

I booked The 1425 Inn on Expedia in July for a weekend in November as we were going to visit my child at U of South Carolina. I made sure that the rate was refundable and that we would not pay anything until we arrived on site because our plans were not yet confirmed. A couple of weeks later I notice the 1425 Inn had charged my credit card even though I had made sure that our booking would not require a deposit or any type of payment. I canceled the booking and expected that the money they charged would be refunded to my credit card. Several weeks pass and the 1425 Inn did not refund me. I contacted Expedia and they said they would investigate. A couple days later Expedia informed me that the 1425 Inn REFUSED TO REFUND my money. I was shocked. I re-read the booking and the cancellation all of which stated that I would not be charged if I canceled by Nov 3rd (I canceled in August). I don't know what kind of business practice this place employs but taking my money without consent and refusing to refund it to me is STEALING. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD NOT BOOK, LET ALONE STAY, AT THE 1425 INN.

This hotel feels very new despite some reviews being from a year ago. Everything from the lobby to the guest rooms were spotless and well maintained to us. Check in was easy, the staff were friendly throughout our stay, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. Our room was surprisingly spacious and included two queen beds plus a fold-out sofa/futon, giving us plenty of room to spread out after a long day of exploring nearby Congaree. The beds were comfortable, but the real MVP of the room was the shower. The water pressure was absolutely marvelous - a small thing that frequent travelers understand can make a huge difference. Parking did come with a modest $5 fee, which wasn't ideal, but it certainly wasn't enough to detract from the experience. Breakfast the following morning was solid with plenty of options to fuel up before hitting the road. Clean rooms, friendly service, comfortable accommodations, strong shower pressure, and a good breakfast. For a quick overnight stay, I really have no complaints. I'd happily stay here again.

I genuinely have very kind sentiments to the entire team. They are so kind, caring and nice. One of the front desk team members had a pup that went through the same illness as our sweet pup. Our pup adored her and would look for her every time she was at the hotel. Says a lot when a pup goes out of their way to say hi to someone. The woman at the front desk would also ask how our pup was doing when I was staying there and the pup was in the hospital. She was a kind and friendly face every time. While they are other hotels closer to CVETS this is my preferred hotel not just because it is pet friendly but because I found the rooms and space to be clean. The woman who puts out and tidies up the breakfast is very kind a lot of folks just seem to walk by her but I always stopped to say hi and ask how she was doing. She is such a friendly smile and does a brilliant job. When I was there you would never know how many folks had come and gone from eating. She was on top of it and kept everything tidied. Come to think of it I do not recollect a time where anything was out of stock or needed to be replenished. She was there tending to it before any of the items emptied. They had gluten free items available off the top of my head some of Udi's muffins comes to mind. I am not sure what else. Rooms were always clean and tidy. Never did I come across anything less than ideal or not fresh in the room. LOVE their beds similar to mine at home and very comfortable to sleep on. I really liked that the side doors all needed key card access. They also all closed and secured. I was very happy and felt safe because of this feature. If you forget your card, you can always walk around and go through the front. But I liked that the sides were secured and you genuinely had to use your keycard to access. Used my mobile key most of the time and worked perfectly every time. All the air conditioners worked great! Even staying in the hottest part of summer was always perfectly comfortable I liked the layout. Found the rooms quite quiet. It was easy to have DoorDash delivered. I just had then drop it off at my room. However, you can have it left with the front desk as I saw that happen a few times in passing. They do charge for parking but that was made clear to me from the time of booking. Parking lot is clean and nicely lit. Which I appreciated especially when taking a pup out for the last tinkle of the night. There is a pet waste disposal bin and pet waste bags too if you are out of then on your leash. There is a little store in the front. My bills were all accurate and points credited in a timely manner to my Marriott Bonvoy account. (Which I have come to appreciate as that is not the same for every Marriott property.) TL;DR Loved the staff, nice hearty breakfast and clean. Would stay there again, recommended to CVETS for other out of town patients and would to anyone else in the area. Liked their beds and bedding!
