Stayed in a suite with 2 couples recently. Nice space and I appreciated the shared living room area with the electric fireplace. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and overall we enjoyed the rooms. They have a nice, free breakfast with cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, pastry, and several different drink options. Across the parking lot, there's a bagel shop and a grocery store, both came in handy. There's also a nice and cheap dispensary just a mile away :) read more

The water pressure in the toilets are so low that simply using the restroom is quite the gamble. Only one outlet in my entire room works. Spent the majority of today without power walking up and down the stairs and the front desk mentioned I was supposed to get snacks every day, how can that be, if I didn't even receive a regular cleaning service? i have one towel left to bathe. i tried my hardest not to snitch on y'all, I may even do a google review this is crazy work read more

The place is filthy and outdated. The kitchen cupboards were so bad that they store the dishes in the dishwasher. The breakfast buffet food is all prepackaged, under and overcooked. We contracted mites from the bedding. My dermatologist confirmed it. After a week of trying to speak with a manager about the issue, finally a General manager contacted me and said he had the place inspected a week later. No bed bugs. Never said there were bed bugs. Also stated numerous people had stayed there that week. So how are you able to test our bedding or the room when we were there? It is a horrible place. I preferentially stay in Hilton Properties after spending many years traveling for work. When we travel for vacation and I know it will be a long stay, I select Homewood Suites as they usually have a 2-Bedroom Suite configuration along with full (as full as it gets!) kitchen. This stay was for 10 days, so definitely wanted to eat a few meals in. In addition, we had a few very cold and snowy days. Kitchen - poor stocked. This two-bedroom suite was for up to 6 people, we had only three adults. No spatula, no sharp knife, enough plates, coffee cups, and flatware for only three! No ideal for any meals in. In addition, one of those old cartridge type coffee makers! The coffee in the Lobby wasn't drinkable, we tried. Actually went out and bought a coffee press! Only trash receptacles were tiny ones, difficult for trash if you did any cooking! We ended up throwing out a lot of groceries and it was too tough to cook even a few meals! Room - beds were very comfortable. One room, with the two twin beds, actually had a larger closet and bathroom counter, odd, as the King Bedroom was smaller. Neither had more than a few hangers, again we were staying for 10 days! The living room furniture, very uncomfortable! Chair and couch. The living/Kitchen area was very small, so the table only had two chairs, and we used the ottoman as the third chair. Not sure where 6 people would sit or eat! This is the smallest two-bedroom suite I have ever stayed at and this is Boulder, CO! The largest was DT Seattle ($$$$). The second bedroom was really an attached (adjoining) hotel room. My concern here would be young kids as you could actually use the latching lock on the inside and the room key did not work on the exterior, and there is an exterior door access. This would not be acceptable, IMO, for a family with young (or even teen aged kids!!). Two bedroom suites should be just that, two bedrooms, within the one suite. I am not sure if they are all set up like this. The separate bedroom did not have an additional living area! Breakfast - typical breakfast. The selections did rotate. Nothing amazing but it's all included as expected. We did eat here about half of the time. Service - very nice staff. Housekeeping and front desk. Check-in and check-out very easy. Location - very close to a grocery store (Safeway) and several small restaurants, other than that we were constantly driving to get anywhere in Boulder. Overall, I don't recommend this property! It did not meet my expectations. Rooms are far too small and uncomfortable for an extended vacation. If you are only spending 1-2 nites and it's close to where you need to be, then I would chance it! read more

Nice free breakfast selection with fresh juices, eggs, sausages, coffee & bread. The seating area is spacious and breakfast rotates daily. They say the water is so pure you can drink directly from the faucet. Room was cozy, loved the electric fireplace. Very small gym room with only one mat. Did not seem very clean. The building is a bit outdated but overall nice stay and it's located near a large plaza with many restaurants and shops. read more

I'm staying here for a work trip and extending for the weekend. Reasonable distance to Boulder downtown. The hotel is inside a shopping center that has rental car drop-off (Avis, very convenient). I stayed in a king suite, quite decent. Would recommend anyone who is visiting boulder. read more

Hotel rooms are fine. The big issue is the walls are paper thin so u can almost hear every word of adjoining suites conversation anbig issue when u are trying to sleep. Hot breakfast mediocre at best. Would never stay here again for anyone who treasures sleep read more

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I was placed here by an insurance company while my house is being repaired. I'm bo9king a room at the Residences by Marriott right after I post this. The room smelled weird, and I got the flu that same day. They allow pets, but the staff leaves the door wide open while cleaning. On the "plus side" it's near the library. But also a pool and tennis court. Super loud, but my cat is entertained, so a begrudging plus. Their TVs are outdated, by about 20 years. The heating/ac is very loud. I have more, but my phone is dying. I can't charge it properly on ANY of the USB ports in the lamps. Which is the whole point of having them. read more

It was an okay experience until they refused to honor a receipt price. That said, we paid $285 for one night and did not feel it was worth the money. Printed price on receipt was $60 cheaper than my contracted price through hotel tonight and they refused to refund. It is literally behind a Safeway parking lot and not a good location if you're doing pearl st., it's over 15 minutes from the hotel. My advise would be not to stay here unless you have a family and want to cook for, not couples doing one night. It's such a shame that they could not refund the difference they printed for me, it went from a 5 star to 1 star experience. So the staff here are great--everyone from the front desk staff to the hard working folks who make the breakfast and dinner stuff happen to the cleaning people. Also good: they have free bikes you can check out, the breakfast and happy hours are good and well attended, and there is always tea, coffee, and fruit available in the lobby area. However, in the rooms the walls and ceilings are very thin and you can hear people walking loudly over you at night and during the day. The place is not well built. Our room was also dark, had no plugs near the desk, and he only trash can was in the bathroom. Also, it is it near much (but also a quick drive to most things). read more

While I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I was dismayed that my new truck was vandalized on the hotel grounds. I parked it around 7:00pm and when I went back out at 10:00pm the passenger window was broken with a rock. The hotel backs up to the rear side of a shopping center and it is poorly lit and obviously not secure. Otherwise, the room was clean and adequate. In need of some minor repairs (toilet paper holder broken, window screens in disrepair). It has a complete kitchen which is great but there is no vent fan so food smells linger. The hotel is offering a much better breakfast than other area hotels and with a friendly manner. read more

Not a bad place to spend a night in. The pictures online were a bit misleading and made the room look more updated than it really was. The room overall was very dark and I could barely see when I was showering. Dishes looked like they were run in the dishwasher without soap so I cleaned them with soap before using them. Stayed here for a one night stay on our way to RMNP. It was a wonderful hotel that was modern and more than met our needs. The plug outlets in lamps are a little loose and a couple did not work but easily found others Breakfast is solid with eggs, oatmeal, fresh berries, waffles and cereals. If I had any complaint it would be that the coffee was classic Americano (somewhat weak). But a trip to a local Boulder coffee house fixed me up. This Homewood Suites is adjacent to a well laid out Safeway and several mini mall stores and banks so very convenient for me to grab water and snacks I could later store in my fridge. 30 year old property with updating. It's still old. No housekeeping during covid, ok, but dishwasher is full with sticky note saying they're clean... There are TWO glasses - one 8 ounce & one 4 ounce. They're not bothering with "social evenings" & breakfast is just take a bag. Considering, it's WAY over priced. And someone is cooking some nasty curry! The hallway REEKS. We have no paper towels and half a box of Kleenex and were told that housekeeping "should " be on our floor today ?? I was at Homewood Suites during the COVID crisis, so I expected some inconveniences. When I arrived at my room, the dishwasher was full but not run. There were also no cooking utensils (pots and pans but no tools with which to cook), no dish towels, no can opener, and during my 3-day stay, my room was never cleaned or restocked. I found used coffee pods in the coffee maker and what I believe was a piece of dog food on the floor. I called the front desk one evening and there was no answer. I paid a decent amount per night for little to no service. The elevator needed cleaning, and the building had random trash in/around it. The staff I did have contact with on check-in/out were great, but I'm not sure I would recommend this location to anyone. read more

My family and I stayed here during the holidays. Homewood Suites are usually my first choice for hotels, during longer stays. I always make sure to read the reviews on Yelp though before I book any hotel. This one had pretty decent reviews. I like their 1-bedroom units because they have a bedroom & living room separated + a kitchenette with a full fridge. Check-in was a breeze and Olivia (at front desk), who assisted me was super sweet. As a matter of fact, all the staff members I encountered there was super nice! There was even a night when another Hilton employee from hotel location was filling in for the evening staff. He was super nice and was so eager to help us. One night, our keys were not working, so I called the front desk and they immediately came up to our room to bring us new keys. One morning, we woke up to several inches of snow and the crew was so great about clearing the walkways of snow. The room seemed a tiny bit dated + had super low-flow toilets. This did not matter to me because it was still clean and was very functional for us. Breakfast was made every morning and there was even an instance where I came down after it was over for more coffee and a kitchen staff asked me if I had breakfast. So kind, right? The kitchen staff worked so hard in making sure we got what we needed for breakfast. I loved the fresh berry mixture they had every morning. The meats I was not too crazy about, but they have more than the average complimentary hotel breakfast spread. I love that Homewood Suites also has a meal spread Monday-Thursday evenings + complimentary coffee & hot water 24-7. Since the pool was outdoor here, it was out of commission because of the snow. They even have coin laundry service for those that need to do laundry during their travels. Parking was outdoors, but were were able to park close to the stair access of our units. Luggage carts were also easily accessible throughout the property. On the other side of the plaza, there was a Safeway, a few restaurants and it's easy access to the Flatirons, Celestial Seasonings and the Pearl. My mom and I are currently staying at this hotel, and we love it. It'a a safe area, and so close to shopping and food. On Monday, they have a movie night with popcorn and cotton candy, and Wednesday night is an evening reception. I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away by the spread. Beer, wine, cheeses, meats, salad, and all kinds of fun things. I took the hotel shuttle to Pearl St mall, and it was great. The driver was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. the room is perfect. My room has a kitchenette that is stocked with clean dishes and cooking utensils. The breakfast is great. Good assortment, nice and hot, and tasted great. Everyone here has been very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. read more

This Homewood Suites exceeded my expectations. I arrived very late - around 1 am, to find the front lobby only accessible by room key. However, I pressed the doorbell & was greeted within seconds by a very upbeat & chipper clerk. She had me checked in & on my way to my room in just a few minutes. Which, that late at night is such a relief! I am in town for a training workshop nearby & haven't had a chance to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast or dinner that are served. But having 2 meals offered certainly offsets the $149 per night charge. With that being said, my room is actually very nice. I have a suite with a king bed. The main room has a small kitchenette that has a full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave & 2 burner cook top along with all the dishes & cookware needed for 2 people. Very handy if you are here on a long stay. My room is very clean & well maintained. Housekeeping came while I was out today & did a great job. One note - there is no towel hook/rack in the area by the bathroom sink & I like to hang up my hand towel after use. Considering this hotel is one of the many that employees the idea of conservation by leaving a note to hang up your towels - I find this lack of a towel hook frustrating. I took off a star because this place borders on impossible to find. You can see it from the road, but it's address is 4950 Baseline & it does not sit on Baseline in any way. In fact it sits behind a shopping center that is on Baseline. Getting lost trying to find your hotel at 1am warrants the loss of a star in my book. Sorry Homewood :( read more

No less than three GPS devices located the same corner of Baseline Road with ease. There was no motel or marked driveway to be seen by four pairs of relatively well-functioning eyes. After ten minutes of circling and searching poorly connected residential streets, access roads and state highways, some rather insensitive "homeless suites" jokes were filling the car. No signage, no visible buildings and only endless looping on, and off, the surrounding roads. Twenty minutes after locating this motel on our GPS's, an attempt to U-turn in a strip mall sighted a small sign within the parking lot. There, behind the delivery bays for the shopping center, stood the Homewood Suites. We entered the administrative office building pretty miffed, only to encounter a twit whose "oh, well" responses added gasoline to the fire. Next up was a portly young man whose abysmal customer service skills misguided him to attempt to verbally confront me. Not a good idea . . . This bozo then advised that our two rooms, booked and prepaid almost four months earlier, would be in different buildings and on opposite sides of this five building complex. It doesn't require an advanced degree to understand that two rooms booked together are expected to be located within reasonable proximity of each other. The layout of this property consists of single-story buildings circled by poorly-connected parking lots; bringing to mind the worst aspects of a truck stop and a 1950's motor hotel. The suites themselves are huge, and equipped with two televisions, decent beds and a full kitchen. These advantages quickly evaporated as each of the following were uncovered: -- The sofa and cushions reeked of human perspiration, and quite obviously, hadn't been cleaned in a long time. -- Fleas were evident in the area of the sofa. It was later confirmed that this motel allows pets in guest's rooms, making it no more than a glorified kennel. Why is it that smoking a single cigarette in a motel room creates a jeopardy for a $175 "cleaning fee," while infesting the same room with fleas is tacitly encouraged? -- The bathroom door was so severely warped that considerable effort was required to avoid being trapped within the bathroom. To no credit of Homewood Suites, the shopping mall which encircles it includes a Safeway grocery and a variety of convenient retail stores. In summary, this property is an outright disgrace to the Hilton name and reputation, and should be razed. I doubt that anybody would even notice. read more

The only good thing about this hotel is the front desk staff. This hotel is located behind the shopping center on baseline and foothill. It takes about 5 minutes to get out to the main road in the morning since you have to go through the shopping parking lot past a drive through bank. I can hear all the creaking from the floor above me. If possible, request the top floor, although I do not believe there are elevators that take you there. My room (219) was located right next to the door to outside. I'm a light sleeper, and all morning I could hear the door opening and slamming shut between 5-8AM. The free wireless internet is awful. I'm a HHonors gold member and can barely use it. Parking is plentiful, and I haven't had an issue with it. The room is dated, with a gross comforter. not the clean feel you get with other hiltons. Where do I start. I booked a 2 bedroom suites months ago. I called 2 days before arrival to confirm our room. When we arrived they moved us to a 1 bedroom suite, which could not accommodate our party. Because it is graduation week they had no other rooms. How could this happen? I even paid for my 2 bedroom suite when I booked the room. While the manager was trying to figure out another plan, I felt that her attitude was "well, take it or leave it". She was suggesting one of our quests sleep on the floor. (wtf) Since every hotel in town is booked because of the graduation we had no other option. In my 50 years of life and a lot of travel, I have never had a hotel switch my room to less than what I booked. read more

Okay okay, downside first - it is in a really weird location. We got so lost and frustrated trying to find it. You literally have to drive through a shopping center, and at night, the little signs are basically invisible. Soooo, I was in a pretty crappy mood when I arrived, after being honked at and tailed all around the area for the past 20 minutes. Then when we walked in, the front desk employee informed us that he accidentally gave our room to another person with the same last name. WHY the 5 stars then?! They literally transformed my mood within 10 minutes. The front desk employee told us he would be right back but to make ourselves comfortable in the lobby/lounge while we waited. As soon as we turned around, we were greeted by a lovely hostess who's first question was "Would you like a glass of wine?" followed by "Come relax by the fireplace." They had a full-blown wine and appetizers and beer (on tap?!) spread with homemade soup, salad, crudite, cheeses, and crackers. It was wonderful. We took our wine and beer and cozied up in giant chairs near the fireplace. The front desk employee came back and handed us keys to a room within 10 minutes, along with multiple apologies. They were both just so straight-up nice that it changed my whole mood. We actually stayed in the lobby for a little while and relaxed before heading to our room. They clearly had upgraded us because of the error, and we essentially walked into an apartment. The room was way larger than my actual apartment - with full kitchen (full- like stove, normal size fridge, and DISHWASHER!) a living room with a kitchen table and couch (seemed like it pulled out too) and flat screen TV. Then a king size bed in another room with the bathroom. It was enormous! So comfy in fact that we walked back out to that shopping center, bought some wine and food, and came back to just relax in our room. The continental breakfast the next morning was great too. Same cheerful hostess cooking up sausage mcmuffin things, and lots of other options. I was actually really bummed we weren't staying another night. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheaper option near Boulder (which had some pretty pricey B&Bs). We took back roads to get to downtown Boulder the next morning, and when we had contemplated going out for dinner, an Uber ride was only $8! While a mile outside downtown Boulder, the Homewood suites are along a main road that leads directly past the campus to pearl street. It's also easy to take foothills parkway to access highway 36. Our Suite, a bedroom with 2 beds and tv, a main bathroom area, and living room/kitchen area are all clean and well-cared for. A nice bonus is that our living room has a little fireplace with some comfy couches and another flat screen tv near it. In our room the hotel selected cable is pretty good, and there is internet. Downstairs there is a nice business center, a pool and a fitness center and lobby for continental breakfast for guests. Overall, this is a really nice place to stay. read more

Quite possibly my worst experience at a Hilton property. Our room was relatively clean but our bed...the person who made our bed apparently mistook a mattress pad for a blanket. We had a mattress pad for a secondary blanket. When I made the front desk aware they questioned my ability to know the difference. Strange, unprofessional and fairly unnerving. To top it off the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and my partner and I will both be spending the remainder of our day with back and neck pain. Probably would have been more comfortable in our cars. Next time we will pay a little extra and stay any place else. read more

Stayed here for a couple of nights for business. The room was really nice and clean. A TV in the living room and one in the bed room. The staff is very friendly and the free breakfast is good too. From Monday to Thursday, free dinner is included too. The excellent part is their service. The room I was in started to have water dripping noise in the middle of the night which drove me crazy the first night. Then it went away in the morning. To my surprise, the noise started again the 2nd night and I called the front desk pretty late in the evening. The manager actually gave me another room for me to sleep in. The only down side is the location. It is located at the back of a strip mall. I had a bit hard time finding the place even I can actually see the place from the major street next to it. Homewood Suites was a great home away from home while we were staying in Boulder. We had 7 of us travelling together and I was really happy to see that there were 2 bedroom suites (each with 2 beds per room). When we got there I was really shocked at just how large the room was. It was basically the size of a small house with a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a pull out couch. We lived in luxury while we stayed here. The lobby was very nice and I really enjoyed the complimentary beer and wine happy hour. The breakfast was also quite good (try the scones) and even the coffee was really tasty. It was only a short 10 minute drive to the Pearl St fun and we enjoyed staying at a close proximity. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Boulder - great spot for the value! read more

Had to find a back door to the hotel. Finally made our way to the front desk. Requested an early check in. Got it. Room is a standard suite. Furnishings in good shape. Did not stick around for their dinner, went out to eat. (Although the food looked good.) Overall, nice place. Hopefully the construction will be completed soon. read more

For a hotel in Boulder, Colorado, I think this is as good as it gets. Granted the hotel is a bit difficult to sign but they do have a sign pointing directly left as you enter the shopping center. The suites are absolutely huge with their own kitchenettes, WORKING WOOD FIREPLACES (super cozy), and pull out sofas. It's nice that there is a Safeway near by for use of the kitchen. The staff is really nice and being college kids gave us some great recommendations about the Boulder area. read more

Stayed here a couple of nights. Loved this hotel! It is very "homey". The staff is excellent and very friendly. I loved free dinner & breakfast! The first night they had Pork Carnitas tacos, roasted corn on the cob, and rice with a complete salad bar, beer and wine. For Breakfast they had cheddar scrambled eggs with chives, bread pudding, red rosemary potatoes, and fresh baked scones. They also have bagels they order locally. And they have yogurt, cereal, and juice, milk, and oatmeal to choose from. The table next to me told the breakfast staff she couldnt eat dairy. They made her scrambled eggs without cheese & cream. I thought this was very nice considering it is a buffet and what is out is what you usually get. For an older property I feel they truely try to take care of the property. My Suite with a fireplace was very clean. I had a question how to open the flu for the wood buring fireplace and the maintenance guy was very nice and came up to open it. I loved the new fitness center they just remodeled. Even though its a small space, they have 3 machines that all have built in tv's/radios. They also have yoga balls and weights. They sent me an email with directions how to arrive to the hotel. They apprently do this with reservations they have emails on file because sometimes other people have a hard time finding it. You have to enter the shopping center and it is tucked behind Michaels. But it is truely a hidden gem! Me, the wife, and kids will definetly be back! read more

It ok, but that's it. The buildings are old and show it. The rooms could use an update, especially the bathroom, yikes! There is no fan in the bathroom, ugh. The tub and tiles and grout is old and chipped. The linens are thin and there are no fitted sheets, so it all gets really rumpled, some have spots. Big turn off. They allow pets, so some furniture smells and has hair on it. The pictures always look so nice! But that's how it is. The people at the front desk and the food center are very friendly, the maids and janitors and other helpers smile at you like crazy, but watch your belongings. About $75 were missing from my room as I was checking out. I have a suspicion, but no proof and had to hurry to catch a plane. So be careful!!!!! read more

I reserved a premium king room and when I checked in the clerk gave me a room with 2 double beds. When I pointed out that I reserved a room with a king bed she said "oh yeah I guess you did" then admitted they had no premium king rooms. She did not offer me a choice of a standard King room but I asked for one. She didn't give me the lower rate for a standard king room. I ended up paying 190 a night plus 15000 Hilton Honors Points, when the online rate when I checked in was only 158. Also was kept awake by the guy snoring below my room. Underwhelming average property. Not at all what i would expect from a Hilton. I would look elsewhere for a newer, higher quality property. Staff seems nice and there is supposed "suite guarantee" but I don't want a promise to fix things they know are bound to happen, make sure it's right to begin with. I'm sure property was very nice a long time ago, but its past its prime. Pros- kitchenette w fridge, microwave, dish washer, dishes - good breakfast - dinner mon- thurs - decent location near boulder - easy on site, free parking next to building. Cons - aged property both in rooms and common areas ( not as clean and comfortable as advertised) - couch and carpet worn and in need of replacement. - some appliances and fixtures are circa mid 90s I would guess. - walls and ceilings are paper thin as commonly found in cheap apartment buildings. ( request top floor) - beds are old and in need of replacement. - nonsmoking room had stale smoke smell as if it was once a smoking room and then attempted clean. - fitness center is just two treadmills, elliptical, dumbells to 20lbs, and a few medicine balls. When I was just here none were working and/or they couldn't figure out how to plug into safety outlets. read more
