Delightful stay! Really liked this hotel. Very nice staff, comfortable accommodations and solid wireless.
    Carolyn A.

This is a large Hilton capable of hosting mid-size conferences. I had a lovely spacious room and enjoyed breakfast in the lobby. They have a breakfast bar but also a menu from which to order other specially prepared options. The wireless rocked (always necessary these days).

Nasty Caucasian hair left in my shower during my two day stay.

My grandson and I stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. The rooms were okay and although I had requested a first floor room close to the elevator because I am a disabled veteran I was given second floor not close to the elevator. The pool and workout areas were hidden off in a first floor area. The worse part of this trip was when I took a shower, clinging to the shower wall was a long brown hair. I have grey/black sisterlocks. This was totally disgusting. The staff was nonchalant and didn't care. That day I left thinking my room would be cleaned. I had turned out the lights yet when I returned, the lights were on, the bed was still unmade, the wet towels were still on the floor and that disgusting long brown hair was still sticking to the wall. I slept there the second night but got in line after my daughter's three kids and showered there. I'm done with Hilton. I stayed in a Hilton in Tulsa, OK last year with wonderful amenities, this one wanted $12 for breakfast! What happened to complementary breakfast? Because my 11 year old grandson was with me I didn't stoop to the level of saying anything to the low-rent people working there but I'm done with this dirty little spot with their heathen staff. I'll never stay in this dump again.

Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk was pretty rude. The first thing she said to me (in a very stern voice and pointing at my service dog) was, "you're going to be charged $75." I asked, "for a service animal?" She replied (still in a snooty voice), "is it an emotional support animal?" I said, "no, she is a trained service animal." Then she proceeded to make me fill out a form saying I would be charged $75 for an animal. I wrote "service animal" on the form. We then proceeded to our room, which we paid double the price for because we did an upgrade to a suit, and it smelled like a retirement home or a church (old musty smell). My wife wanted to relax in a bath, and there was a roach already relaxing on the bathtub (picture attached). I went to take a shower and it was full of mold and mildew (picture attached). Definitely not worth what we spent. I would expect this kind of thing from a motel 6, not a Hilton. This is the second Hilton hotel with horrible service. I definitely DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Hilton...DO BETTER!!!

No water out of hot water tap in sink. Reported problem.

I like the property but the hot water temp is warm at best and not hot. Also, no hot water, or any water, coming out of hot water side of sink. Reported. No action.

This is one of two Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at in the past year. They are nice properties, just a shade better than Marriott Courtyard for about the same price. This one happens to be brand new, so everything was particularly clean and fresh. I was only here one night, but I found the place comfortable and convenient. I'll probably stay here next time I'm back in East TX. FYI-Internet and parking is free, but breakfast is an additional charge.

    Nice, new property.

One of the better hotels in tyler. Noticed the high voltage power lines on one side and requested a room away from it all, had no problems.

I just laid down on the bed and I think I broke my tailbone. it's like sleeping on the ancient streets of Rome.

The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't particularly like the style of the chair but that's really my own personal taste because the chair worked. The hotel is near an outlet style Mall with plenty of restaurant choices and easy access to the highway. Really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy for breakfast one of the mornings and on another morning they had sausage and potato slices. The variety of hot foods in the morning during different days was pleasant. The coffee was also fresh and tasty.

When I arrived, there were 3 shipping containers in the front parking lot--not the best first impression. The entire hotel appears to be under construction, the rooms on the right half of the 3rd floor were closed off and the landing off of the elevator lobby has debris and dust from the work. The layout of the room is weird with a desk in the center with the tv on a raised portion against the wall facing the bathroom. The tv is placed so it can pivot but it cant actually face the bed or the couch fully. So weird. Also, when did hotels stop having at least HBO? I think they have antenna only tv unless you happen to have access to streaming services. The room appears very clean, and everything functions, but there are cheaper, better options. Also the rooms do not look as pictured, nor do the common areas, which appear to be undergoing renovations. The pool, by the way, is closed indefinitely. I would not have stayed here if I knew the pool was closed. Edited to add: apparently housekeeping is also not something that happens everyday anymore either.
