This hotel is NOT kept up. The carpet in our room needed to be replaced, light in shower was a strobe going off and on often, kitchen bar light has a short going off and on. There was no easy to reach plug so I could charge my IPhone by my side of the bed. The floor in the elevator is cracked up. They have this UGLY fountain in the front of the hotel that eats up prime real estate for parking. My biggest Bitch is the parking. They do not have enough. Also they allow these trucks with HUGE trailers to take up 10 spaces of parking. There were two of them for multiple days. We complained to the front desk and they did nothing about it. read more

The rooms are well appointed and generously sized but a slightly lacking in maintenance and cleaning. The bathroom trash had not been emptied, there was mold in shower, and spots on carpet. One of the cabinet knobs came off when opened. The service was okay. Not super friendly or efficient but satisfactory. read more

Not a five star review because there's gotta ambe some room for over the top service! Check in as good but they have a text check in which they responded to after we in person checked in. I think they offered a drink at the bar, yes there's a bar, but my wife wasn't sure that that's what they said LOL. Friendly and helpful. Rom was nice and clean. Just beware they have pet option and i got hayfever sitting on couch. Bed very very comfortable. Didn't try breakfast or pool. Very close to everything. Easy to get to. Lots of parking We will stay there again more than likely..but with benadryl. read more

Was very warmly welcomed by the receptionist and it felt genuine. I only stayed the night and then bolted out of there so I'm sure I missed out on a lot of things I could have taken advantage of. The place looked very nice for a long term stay. The room was very nice and well laid out. It was also quite roomy with a very large bathroom area. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Most of my stay was lovely. But the manager of this hotel Kandice Robertson completely ruined the end of our stay. We had several meals as takeout and I asked if we could use the table in the lobby because it's easier with my grandson with cerebral palsy. I always make sure to clean up thoroughly after we finish. Tonight before we could finish Kandice dropped off plastic bags and cleaning cloths telling us we needed to make sure to clean up. I always do! I won't leave my mess for anyone to take care of. As she was leaving she loudly complained about my disabled grandson. She was unkind, unprofessional, and disrespectful to my family. Marriott you might be ADA compliant but not ADA friendly. Glad we are going home tomorrow. read more

This is a great extended stay hotel! The rooms have a kitchen with everything you would need to cook and serve 4 people. There is a living area and a sleeping area. There is only 1 TV, but it can be rotated to face the living area or the bed. I had a king room and the bathroom had a walk in shower. They give you Paul Mitchell branded products. Breakfast is included. There is a bar that is open in the evenings. The pool is indoor, no outdoor pool. It looked nice, but I did not have a suit, so I did not get in. The patio has a nice seating area, fire pit, and grill. There is a work out room and laundry room. It is pet friendly and there are "doggie poop" bag dispensers on the grounds for your clean up. The gentleman that checked me in was super friendly and gave me all the info I needed for my stay. Also, they don't sell milk but the bartender will get you some! read more

This property is really clean. Some of the other property's I have stayed in all over the country are lacking cleanliness. This one is definitely a cleaner property definitely kept up, that being said our room needed a walk in shower, the tubs are dated to me other than a furniture refresh. I recommend this place, would've given it five stars if it wasn't for the tub. Don't book a handicap room at this hotel. There are only two handicap rooms and the one we ended up with was very ran down. I felt I was staying at a third rate hotel. The room was very dirty. I used a towel for a spill on the floor and it was filthy, completely black. The light in the bathroom was out and they were waiting for a ballast to fix, which is available in any hardware store??? The cover on the light by the bed had been damaged and they just put tape on it. Very tacky. The Ice maker in the refrigerator didn't work and was waiting for a part to repair???. The toilet doesn't flush right and the bed is very, very uncomfortable. The light and fan over the stove didn't work. The included breakfast is terrible. The food is sub-standard compared to other Marriott hotels and isn't maintained. After 4 days I only saw an employee once. If you want to stay at a Marriott hotel and don't care about the kitchen, stay at the Fairfield across the street. It it much better managed and maintained. read more

An oasis in East Texas! I am a lifetime Platnium and stay at Marriott about 150 night a year. This RI is by far the best I have stayed in. I remember the old style RI here in Tyler that had the bungalows w steps outside. This new location is amazing. Food, service, design and layout is awesome. One thing missing was the amount of plugs. Have stayed here on 5 occasions when rooms were not available or to my tastes in the City of Canton. Granted you are put back about 40 minutes but if you are serious about getting to Canton Trade Days, shove off really early... snag breakfast here and and get a jump on the crowd. This place is reasonably priced, safe if you are leaving a car full of Canton finds, it is clean and breakfast and happy hour are substantial. Management and/or the franchisee owner take care of the property, unlike some other residence inns. Driving in circles not fun find this place in the daylight, and be sure that if you bring a bottle of wine with you, include an opener, some sections of Tyler are not be wet. read more

This is a brand new hotel. The map shows its location on the corner but that's incorrect, it's actually just off the main road and it's very nice. In fact this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in some time. It's only a couple months old so everything is fresh and new. Fresh breakfast and nice pillows. read more

Great location and housekeeping was great. Multiple downfalls. One was the head front desk worker. I informed her and other workers multiple times at the front desk, of my whole name, because care packages were being sent to me, addressed to my middle name. multiple packages were refused and returned to sender. (I repeatedly, informed them of what was going on). Also, had instacart items delivered that were left at the front desk, photo was included for proof, yet a worker hung the bag on my door. luckily, all my items were accounted for. let's not forget the dog feces in the hallway, near my door, leading to the stairwell. Had food deliveries refused & once it was straightened out, front desk had the audacity to ask who was in my room. Last thing, first time being in a hotel that did not have a back up generator. During ice storm, 1st floor was fortune enough to have power, while remaining 3 floors did not, yet the wifi was working everywhere. read more

Hotel is newer, m-w they have dinner 1 night, snacks 1 night and a combo of each 1 night. Nice weight room-treads, free weights, weight machine, mats, free headphones, TV and music. Pool is nice, no hot tub. Rooms are comfy and love the beds! Housecleaning is Fantastic here!! Staff and super friendly! Close to shops, restaurants and movie theater is walking distance. Parks near area. No hot tub is usually a deal breaker for me, staff friendliness makes up for that, ha! read more

Great hotel! The staff are all very friendly. Breakfast was nice, it's a typical hot breakfast (I.e. scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, toast, fruit...) the indoor heated pool is very nice with a nice view of an inner court where patrons can relax by a open fire. The workout room has 3 treadmills, an elliptical, and a pulley work out machine. The rooms have been spacious, clean, and in good up keep. These rooms have a standard size refrigerator, microwave, stove top, and a small dishwasher. There is dishes / cookware for approximately 2-4 people. One handicap accessible room we stayed in did have a couple of cracks in the shower but usual wear and tear is expected given the usage in sure. The internet is free but if your a gold member the 5G internet is free, otherwise there's a daily fee. The grounds are nice and appear to be well kept. I will definitely be staying here again. read more
