Very nice room, clean. Great location. Basic room, nothing extra; no microwave, mini fridge or anything like that. I have to say, the King size bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on. We slept great. (I wish I knew the make of the bed so I could buy one.) The a/c worked perfectly and kept the room nice and cool all night. (The hallways and elevators were as hot as a sauna though!) I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a basic room. It was perfect for what we needed at the time. The restaurant in this hotel is excellent!! It was late when we got in and were a little hungry so we just had appetizers. Everything was delicious. The food was a little pricey but worth it!! All in all, I'd stay here again if I'm ever in Pittsburgh again. Don't forget the cookies!! :) read more

I've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Coraopolis many times before but this time I decided to try out the Hilton Garden Inn. Extremely impressed with the décor, the customer service, the room...well, everything. A very modern design from the lobby to the room and into the bathroom. One more perk is that it is relatively close to the airport. So instead of trying to get out of downtown Pittsburgh traffic early morning, stay here if you need to get to the airport. It is a bit odd getting to it as you have to turn into the Sheetz or the fast food restaurant in front of the hotel to get to it. I would certainly stay her again over the Hampton Inn...unless the price jumps up drastically. read more

Very nice hotel and close to the airport. It was a 5-10 minute ride on their shuttle to the airport on 5AM traffic. Left the hotel at 5AM, made my 6:15AM flight with time to spare. Front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I did not use the gym and left too early to try their breakfast. read more

The first time I stayed in this hotel was a good experience. However, the second time then I was going to stay there, a friend of mine decided to book our stay on booking.com. Now, considering that my friend was the one to book us, I was not aware that if you do not cancel within 24 hours of booking that they will indeed charge you the full price of the night that you did not stay. I called and asked to speak with the manager with no hesitation in asking him for a refund because I did not spend the night there. I am not Paris Hilton myself, I do not have $100 to just be giving hotels that I did not stay at and was not aware that I had to cancel or else they would drain my bank account. I did not believe for one second that the manager would not refund my money or at least a portion of it, because like I said, I was not the one to book it myself. I feel like, working in customer service myself, and also during these hard times, policy or not, I would have refunded the customers money, knowing that he or she was not aware and ignorance does not equal being aware of a situation and having the responsibility to pay for something without being given the something that you paid for. I am beyond pissed off at the way I was treated on the phone. Needless to say, they lost a customer. Do not go there and do not book on booking.com. they will rape you for your money in the hardest of times. read more

The whole experience, while brief, was exceptional. Called earlier in week regarding shuttle times and parking for a few days while gone and the service was phenomenal. Check in was simple and quick, not to mention extremely friendly. The hotel was superbly modern and clean. The atmosphere was quiet as I did not hear anyone on our floor. I have to say the shuttle service was prompt to get us to the airport and the driver was certainly friendly and informative. I could not ask for a better stay. Upon return, our flight landed and we called for pick up. We were advised where to meet the driver. We took the tram and went back to passenger pickup and think we waited a few minutes until he arrived. Very pleasant gentleman who drove us right back to our car. Service here is phenomenal. Will not hesitate to utilize them again for our next trip. read more

I love this hotel. It's the one I stay in every time I'm in Pittsburgh as it's close to my company's headquarters. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. Dinner is really nice. I travel a lot and I look for things to be wrong in places. I have yet to find a misstep! This tells me that they are well managed! read more

Solid Hampton Inn. The front desk staff are excellent - they allowed many of the guests in a wedding party check in early after we traveled from near and far. The breakfast area is a nice size and the food is what you expect. Fresh cold lemon water always available at the front desk! read more

The weekend was fine until Sunday. We were at our daughters hockey game and they checked us out at 12 without our permission. All of our stuff was still in the room and they refused to let us back in. We also clearly booked our rooms until Monday. The rate to stay one more night was $178! Outrageous! I had booked a room at the Hilton garden inn Robinson mall I paid through pay pal got my confirmation number so obviously my debit card address phone number ect. I booked it due to a wedding I had attended had my d.d. take me and my date to the hotel drop us off go to the desk and the man tells me sorry we tried to call you all day we have no room for you. Beautiful hotel. Looks new or newly renovated. Comfortable bed. Great layout. My bathroom wasn't cleaned from the previous guest. The previous guests soap was still in the shower along with long black hair everywhere. Ordered room service, got charged for bacon on my burger and was never given the item. AC was on the fritz and wasn't working properly. The whole bathroom thing really grossed me out and ruined my stay. Disappointing because it's a beautiful facility. read more

Nice hotel if not a little loud with the doors. The night I was there someone got so drunk on my floor that they broke beer bottles by the elevator entry. I had to go down and alert the staff as I was checking out and they were prompt to get it taken care of. Comfortable beds. Could use slightly stiffer pillows. read more

Beware that booking and prepaying for a room here does not guarantee you a room! My friends and I had booked a room here months in advance and prepaid but when we tried to check in, we were told that they didn't have a room for us. Basically they had overbooked the hotel and offered to let us sleep on cots in a supply closet. It was 1:45am, we were exhausted, and every hotel in the area was full too. read more
