This hotel is pretty good for business trips in the Pittsburgh area, and is pretty close to the airport. Its a bit dated but offers lots of basic amenities: 1. Free Wifi 2. Nice lobby area with lots of outlets 3. Free airport shuttle 4. Indoor pool and real tiny gym (which incidentally has the only water dispenser) Rooms were okay. Pillows were annoyingly small and you need to use several for support. Walls a bit thin and I can hear snoring at times from next door. Food options are pretty limited and there's no free coffee in the lobby. To get around, Uber is recommended since cabs can be 20-minutes out. The hotel is also a bit remote and most of the better restaurants are probably in downtown Pittsburgh.

The bun was like shrunken leather wrapped around the toughest burger i have ever come across!

Very disappointing stay. Have used this chain before and this was by far the worst experience. The food at The Bistro was an utter disgrace. I think it is the first time i have been unable to eat a burger. The side salad was just a tangle of green.....something!

I ate dinner in the Bistro since this location is not near (walking distance) any restaurants from what I saw.

You'll be required to find street parking, with the most convenient options being to pay for a parking space on the street nearby. (There is also free street parking but you may have to drive around a bit to find a open spot) We had a table of 6 dining here around 5pm on a Friday. We met part of our group there, and they were already seated, so I don't believe waiting for a table was an issue (even for a party of 6). Once seated, our waiter was prompt and attentive and we also had who I assume to be a manager check-in with us. So no complaints about service. Our waiter took our drink order, appetizer order, food order and provided refills on drinks promptly/reasonably. All of our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals but my wife had the shrimp fajita and I had the rodeo burger (without BBQ sauce, I just wasn't in the mood for BBQ sauce but all of the other toppings sounded yummy - Gouda cheese, bacon, crispy fried onion, and chipotle aioli). Both are pictured. Overall, I'd recommend going here if you aren't bothered by street parking. The service, atmosphere, and food were solid.

The service was still really good, it was my steak that was awful. I ordered the NY Strip and it was fatty and had a huge nerve running through it making it tough to cut and chew. I decided to send it back and the steak that came back out was WORSE! As a result, I had no dinner. On the flip side, my mom got the salmon and she said it was delicious. I also got the Caprese salad and it was really yummy so not all bad! I did find out they have a new chef so I think it's safe to say it has had an impact.

While we didn't mind it too much, because we were visiting, it did take a long time before our food arrived. It even took a while before a bread basket arrived to help tie us over while waiting for dinner to be served. I ordered salmon, medium, and it arrived medium well. Not the best salmon dish I've ever had but edible. My husband ordered the Shrimp Alfredo. He said it was good but they only gave you 5 little shrimp. Portion sizes are smaller than usual. We really wanted their crab cakes as my sister in law and step mom raved about them but they were out of them! So overall a bit disappointed with our meal and overall experience. I am giving them the benefit of a doubt with a 3 rating since family members liked this place in the past. But personally I would give it a 2 based on service and price value. After talking to the family the next day they were all disappointed with the food and service and said they probably would not return based on this experience.

There was also trash by the elevator that was outside the trashcan and ants were crawling on the floor. On the second floor there was a large trash bag that was near the elevator for days. We alerted the front desk staff multiple days. They do not clean your room daily for our comfort and their profit. When asked if somebody could remove dirty wet towels from the room, they said place them in the hall when I asked for new clean towels, we had to hand carry them up to our room. I asked if our trash could be removed and they wanted to give me a trash bag and told me to do it myself. Maybe for my convenience I should only pay every other day to stay in the room. The staff at the front desk were not helpful and disinterested. When my room was cleaned on the day they designated to clean ;my bed was not made and the front desk person asked what day did I arrive? They said housekeeping was still there and they would send somebody to clean the room. The lights by the bed did not work. They did not clean the shower or the on my designated day of cleaning. My concern also was for a gentleman who was a bilateral amputee a wheelchair and how he was going to navigate down the hallway with piles of dirty towels on the floor and bags of trash. This is a hazard. This is the way this hotel is saving money. I paid a high price to stay there and is too generous. Do not stay at this hotel go camping instead you might even bring your own toilet brush.
