While in town for business I booked my stay at this property. Last time I was in town, I stayed right down the street at the Sheraton (which has mediocre to bad reviews) and I completely understand why it's got the reviews it has... YUCK! Definitely won't stay at that Sheraton again! As for this property, the Courtyard - AWESOME... From the check-in process to the overall cleanliness of the property and the room (some of which I viewed when walking by rooms and seeing the housekeeping staff cleaning). I liked it all... I mean, it wasn't the best, but it's definitely, by far sooo much better than the nasty Sheraton down the street and better than many other Courtyards, Fairfields, and Sheratons I've stayed in lately for work. I wish Marriott would work to fix this issue, as it's a relatively new problem I've noticed over the past few years that all the properties I've stayed in were poorly managed, not kept clean, dysfunctional, etc.... This property definitely wasn't like that at all... it reminded me why I prefer to stay in Marriotts. I'll definitely stay here again when visiting, as I've got a lot of work to do in the area and will be back!

This hotel is pretty good for business trips in the Pittsburgh area, and is pretty close to the airport. Its a bit dated but offers lots of basic amenities: 1. Free Wifi 2. Nice lobby area with lots of outlets 3. Free airport shuttle 4. Indoor pool and real tiny gym (which incidentally has the only water dispenser) Rooms were okay. Pillows were annoyingly small and you need to use several for support. Walls a bit thin and I can hear snoring at times from next door. Food options are pretty limited and there's no free coffee in the lobby. To get around, Uber is recommended since cabs can be 20-minutes out. The hotel is also a bit remote and most of the better restaurants are probably in downtown Pittsburgh.

The bun was like shrunken leather wrapped around the toughest burger i have ever come across!

Very disappointing stay. Have used this chain before and this was by far the worst experience. The food at The Bistro was an utter disgrace. I think it is the first time i have been unable to eat a burger. The side salad was just a tangle of green.....something!

I ate dinner in the Bistro since this location is not near (walking distance) any restaurants from what I saw.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress free. Tammy Judy was absolutely amazing. She helped us with all our accommodations, answered every question, and truly knew what she was doing. She made our stay so much easier, especially with such a large group. Anthony at the front desk was just as incredible, always kind, quick to help, and on top of anything we needed like towels and water And Pam in the kitchen/bar area was a bright spot every day, always ready to help with ice, drinks, and anything else, with the sweetest smile. This morning at checkout, Tammy recommended 7 Brew Coffee. I ended up walking there (passing Starbucks and Dunkin' along the way!) and it was totally worth it, such a nice little adventure before heading back. Now I'm relaxing in the lobby waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport, I just can't say enough good things about this place. Professional, kind, accommodating, and genuinely a caring staff. Thank you for your kindness to the EMU women's lacrosse team. Highly recommend staying here, hands down one of the best experiences!

You'll be required to find street parking, with the most convenient options being to pay for a parking space on the street nearby. (There is also free street parking but you may have to drive around a bit to find a open spot) We had a table of 6 dining here around 5pm on a Friday. We met part of our group there, and they were already seated, so I don't believe waiting for a table was an issue (even for a party of 6). Once seated, our waiter was prompt and attentive and we also had who I assume to be a manager check-in with us. So no complaints about service. Our waiter took our drink order, appetizer order, food order and provided refills on drinks promptly/reasonably. All of our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals but my wife had the shrimp fajita and I had the rodeo burger (without BBQ sauce, I just wasn't in the mood for BBQ sauce but all of the other toppings sounded yummy - Gouda cheese, bacon, crispy fried onion, and chipotle aioli). Both are pictured. Overall, I'd recommend going here if you aren't bothered by street parking. The service, atmosphere, and food were solid.

But for…read morethis trip, I wanted extra AAdvantage points, which I could get via booking thru AA's hotel site and so I selected this DoubleTree. I've stayed in EVERY Marriott property between Pittsburgh airport and the City of Pittsburgh (as I travel to that area very often for business) and have to say that this DoubleTree exceeded the best of any of those Marriotts I've stayed in. The room was very comfy and Very Clean! The daily housekeeping was extensive, I found that the chrome fixtures in the bathroom were even polished clean each time. The floor was clean, just like the shower walls and glass. The amenities were refreshed each time as well. The towels were plush and nice, so was the bedding and the bed itself was very comfortable. Many other hotels skip many of these steps when doing daily refreshes and only do it when the guest checks out, so it was nice to come back to such a spotless, clean and well-organized room every day after my meetings. The TV worked nicely too, something that Marriott seems to not do well with lately (even the sleep timer worked well!)!! The location is nice; close to RMU, the PIT airport and not too far from the City of Pittsburgh. Parking lot was somewhat of a mess and the appearance of the property from the road wasn't all that appealing, so I didn't expect much, but I was happy with the room! The staff was friendly and helpful, but I didn't see many staff members during my week-long stay. Definitely would return!

Per hotel staff the hotel opened in 2019 so really new. The furniture in the lobby and room is modern. They have a restaurant in the hotel also. We checked in at 12 and our room of choice on our floor of choice was available. Check in was quick and easy. I also was able to use my Hilton app for the digital key which was helpful b/c we left the key in the room on accident as soon as we walked out. 6th floor hallway was very airy and fresh. The King Room w/ Sofa bed was very spacious. Large bathroom with walk in shower, no tub! Just how we like it. Long vanity in the bathroom and wide mirror. Also full length mirror in the room. Our room looked out to some type of mill and one of the rivers but at night it looked like a view of a city with all the pretty lights but it really was just the factory. Bed was comfortable to Hilton standards and there was more than enough outlets and USB ports available for our electronics. Only con was that housekeeping must have forgotten to grab the trash as there were used q-tips in the bathroom bin. All and all I would definitely stay here again if need be!
