We needed an offsite location for training meetings and contacted Lea Bleggi for assistance. We held this same training, at the Cranberry Doubletree, three times in 2024 and have already booked again for January 2025. Our rentals included room rental, AV rental, and either lunch or a happy hour afterward with food. Upon arrival, each time, everything was set up according to our request. We had a small internet issue during the first meeting, but it was QUICKLY resolved by their team (no internet issues in subsequent meetings). The food, no matter the occasion, was excellent every time. I received many accolades from colleagues on the menu choices and the quality of the food. The staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Every person we have encountered over the past year has provided stellar service and gave us a wonderful experience, which is why we have chosen to return. I have never left a poor review and felt the need for awareness here. If staying in the winter, understand your room will not be below 73 degrees. I was told the air conditioning will not work. The front desk although lovely, would not allow me to transfer to another Hilton property. On escalation call #3 trying to figure out how to transfer. *BED BUGS* DO NOT have your wedding venue here, if you plan on having the party stay in the hotel. My brother had his wedding a couple weeks ago here and both the bride and grooms parties stayed at the hotel for the weekend. On my last day before leaving to head home, I found a BUG BED on my bed. Told the management about it and said they would do an investigation, but it could be anything. Came back to me within a couple days and they said they didn't find anything else. Now, my house is infested. When I try to call them about the situation they handed me to insurance which never called. The whole wedding party is freaking out about it now. I stayed at this hotel for the 1st time on June 21st. Despite a large wedding, and another large group of guest, the staff was incredibly helpful, efficient and professional in dealing with my reservation and stay. The room and pool were spotless and the food I had that evening at the restaurant was excellent. A great location near stores of every kind where I did errands en route to my destination in Michigan. It's Cranberry Community Day Time! July 14-17th and we all know what that means! Call the DoubleTree and tell them I need to stay overnight for the Fireworks! Goody them got not just me but my Bowling Gear because I heard of Mars Bowling so why not add that to my Community Days event 1. Do what I do: Roll up to the Front of the Hotel and get a Bell Hop Cart. I put all my stuff on that and came in like a Pro. 2. Don't put your items on furniture etc. Not just yet. Best to put it on the Floor in a Go To Pile. The Pile where you know where all the clothes are and anything Bathroom goes toward the Bathroom instead of Random Piles everywhere. Bowling Items liked the Window. 3. When all yucky and need a shower DO NOT TOUCH OR SIT Like any Polite person I took my suitcase and used that as my pillow and fell asleep on the floor. When I went to brush my teeth my sink was clogged. NO WORRIES! They sent Mr. Randy to fix it and he poured some drain cleaner down and I had to wait an hour. THE ICE CREAM SPECIAL show was on TV! Mr. Randy came up later and he said give it another half hour and make sure it doesn't do it again. I also pointed out my Alarm Clock wasn't able to do the Alarm Setting. It wasn't wanting to change from 7am to earlier. So poor Mr. Randy had to go and find me a new Alarm Clock. (I got a Cookie from Mr. Randy!) Front Desk felt bad. But I told them Sink got Fixed! The New Clock worked Great! I brushed my teeth took a shower and watched the TV and got a beer from downstairs... Look stuff happens. This is Community Days. This is pretty much your settle in point. Get things like this out of the way POLITELY and you will see just how much fun you are going to have with your stay. I had dinner at Ember and Vine and it was very good Soup and the Shrimp Appetizer which I took to my room. THE BED IS FLOOFY! IT IS SOOOO BIG AND SOOOO FLOOOOOOFY! The next day I figured its Saturday its Raining maybe Fireworks maybe not but I got up at 5am and LETS GO TO MARS BOWLING! ALWAYS TELL THE FRONT DESK WHERE YOU ARE GOING! LEAVE YOUR INFO! EVEN IF GOING JUST OUT TO THE CAR OR TO YOUR ROOM TELL THEM! You don't wanna go missing so tell them where and what you will be doing. MAKE SURE THE CAMERAS SEE YOU ON THE PROPERTY! Use the ATM in the Double Tree Convenience and Buy something too. Leave a Trail! So I go to Mars using Google Maps and pass it 3 times because its way back on the hill. In spite of what their thing on Google said they were not open at all for the summer. I came back to DoubleTree and told them Mars was closed so they said Mystic Lanes but Google came back with CLOSED PERMANENTLY! Zone 28 was open 27 minutes away so YAY LET'S GO BOWLING! Every do Cosmic Bowl? This was Cosmic +++++++! I thought I was in Vegas! I have a Bowling Pin and this guy called up a friend about it. It's early 60's to early 70's. I Bowled pretty ok. Highest was 145 Lowest was 80 but 80 and above is good! Hotel was Happy for me! I came back put the Bowlie Things to look out the Window and got ready for Fireworks! I brushed my teeth cleaned up and went down to FRONT DESK again tell them where you are going! And I saw friends who also came to see the Fireworks. Its a Great Show! And I hung out with the Cranberry Historical Society because leaving after the Fireworks is just traffic. Sunday was having Fun with the Hotel I went up N19 to go to Rite Aid for supplies only. BOWLING WAS ON TV in the Lobby and I love that Lobby so yeah, I am watching Bowling on the Lobby TV having a Wine Cooler they got those, and having fun! Ate at the Bar but they recommended not to eat the Appetizer i got on Friday night because I had it for too long. A fresh one was recommended. Went upstairs slept enjoying a Huge Beautiful Room! Slept, Brushed teeth got cleaned up, watched TV in my Room I was in 80s style exercise gear and while watching TV I had the drapes open to see the Lobby. I would see people get on the Elevator and wave. They seemed to like that. It's such a Futuristic 60's thing they have at the Hotel. Jetsons meet Archer meets Andy Warhol meets MadMen style and you got it. I even played Solitaire on my last night! And I really REALLY wish I could have that Bar that I had in my room that night! The sweet little fridge kept all the beers cold! The Bathrooms are Super Clean so keep them that way. Anything I brought I made sure went home with me. I made sure the sink and shower were in good shape and all the towels were given to the Cleaning Crew in a bag. I did the bed. I noticed I did spill some coffee on a pillow case so told Cleaning Crew about it so they said no worries. I used the Ice Container so I left that on the Bar to let Cleaning folks I used it. I made sure the desk and the counter before the bathroom was clean too! Pretty good accommodations for one of the largest DoubleTree properties that I've ever stayed at. The hotel is hidden in a way from the road where you have to make a couple of weird turns upon arrival and departure, yet its easily identifiable due to how massive the building is. Upon entering, you may get the feeling that this is a new property (feels as if its 1-2 years old). The atrium area is spacious, and the lobby floor has so much space to spread out and meet any of your work colleagues or friends. You can actually have a small meeting within the space since it is so large, and not be bothered by anyone. Seriously. Regarding the room, no major complaints. Clean, comfortable, and somewhat chique. I stayed on one of the top floors reserved for Hilton Honors members, and found the area to be super quiet. My room was well above the front desk area, of which you were able to see the entire hotel interior. Parking at this hotel is expansive. While you may be able to find parking within the front of the hotel, keep in mind that you also have quite a bit of parking on the side of the hotel, as well as rear. Customer service was really good at the front desk, yet could be a bit better within the restaurant area (I found myself to be waiting for service + the check during slow periods during the breakfast hours). The restaurant + bar choices were fine, yet servers could be a bit more attentive (my only major complaint). Will certainly stay at this property again when I am in the North Pittsburgh area. read more

Spacious and comfortable place to stay when away from home. The check-in process is smooth and welcoming. Although I booked my stay using a third-party site, they were able to link my Hilton Honors membership so that I could receive the perks (ie being on a Hilton Honors floor, free wifi, etc). Also received two bottles of water and a warm nut & chocolate chip cookie in a bag. My room on the 4th floor was quiet and had a window view of the indoor pool & back parking lot. I believe the pool is open from 6am-10pm. There's also a fitness room on the 1st floor (not sure exactly where though). Breakfast is available downstairs to the left of the bar. The breakfast buffet is ~$14 or free if you're one of the higher tiered Hilton Honor members. The only thing left to be desired was a fridge. Almost all hotels I've stayed at include a mini-fridge of some sort as one of the basic amenities. Hence, I was surprised that there was no fridge to be found. Hopefully they'll be stocking the rooms with fridges sometime soon! read more

I've stayed here often, the rooms are clean, the lobby is nice, colleagues are friendly and welcoming. It's a bit pricy compared to other Hilton's in the area which offer more for your money. I was disappointed to find the hot tub is gone, they no longer have indoor balcony rooms, I couldn't find the fitness center if they have one, and the pool was cold, however they did give me 2 cookies and 2 bottles of water when I arrived. read more

My family and I spent a night here for a wedding. I tried to check in an hour early which the front desk was able to accommodate. Individual working the front desk was very friendly and personable. Shortly after checking in my family and I visited the pool. Pool is nice because you have both indoor or outdoor options with seating in both locations. Pool was not very warm but not freezing either. Full size towels were present as well. While enjoying the reception in the Doubletree the food was very good. All staff we encountered was friendly and personable. If you are thinking of having a reception here, I would highly recommend based on my experience. Back to the room. No refrigerator in the room. Why? That makes no sense at all. There is plenty of room. Bed was pretty comfortable and room had a view of the atrium/specifically the swimming pool. Bathroom was a little dated but ok. Garbage cans had recycling containers which truly weren't large enough. Wi-fit was pretty good. Remember, no free food besides cookies at the Doubletree. Overall this is a nice hotel and a solid brand in the Hilton family. I'd stay here again if needed. Solid choice with many alternatives near by. read more

This hotel is of the interior atrium design and it has a nice jewelry store inside. My room was was nice sized. My only issue was that the room didn't get as cool as I would like it to be. Not sure why. Also I noticed the air vent in the bathroom had a lot of dust in it. Breakfast buffet was good. It is conveniently located to everything in Cranberry TWP. Some friends of mine had their wedding reception here so we decided to book a room instead of trying to make the drive back home afterwards. It is located right off of the Cranberry exit off of Interstate 279 and right near the PA Turnpike. I easily booked our room online and was even able to pick our exact room online as well. Upon arriving I was blown away by the space. It was very nice, modern and newly remodeled. There is even a high end jewelry store in the lobby. We were quickly checked in and given fresh chocolate cookies and our room keys. One really cool feature is that I was even able to use the Hilton App to open our hotel room's door without the key! I knew that we had a couple of hours before the reception so I requested a chocolate covered strawberry and fruit plate when I initially booked our room. Not long after we got settled into our room we heard a large dog barking in the room next to us. There was no way we were going to deal with that all night so I immediately went back down to the front desk to complain. The person at the front desk apologize and moved us to a room on the other side of the hotel. I went backed to our initial room to get our bags and went to our new room. As we walked in we were greeted by the chocolate covered strawberry and fruit plate that I ordered. While the room could not compare to one at The Fairmont Pittsburgh or Wynn Las Vegas, it was clean and comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. By this time it was almost time to go to the reception so we made our way to the main ballroom. The space was absolutely beautiful! The bartenders were great and kept the drinks coming and the food served at the reception was very good. The wait staff was excellent the whole evening as well. The next morning we easily checked out and received our final bill and went on our way to get some breakfast. While overlooking my bill I noticed that they did not charge us for the strawberries or fruit plate due to having to change rooms. That was a nice touch! Some important things to know before you book here. The hotel is clean and the decor is nicely appointed. The beds are comfortable and the hotel appears to be updated...that is the good. The bad is that this hotel's marketing seems a little deceptive once you are there. We booked a king room for two and paid an additional fee for the king bed, but upon arriving the king rooms were no longer available, so we got placed in a queen room (no problem) but they would not adjust the price stating "the rooms are filling up therefore the price has gone up"...this was 2 hours later. Next they promote their breakfast as you are checking in the night before, and play it off as if it were complimentary with no signage stating the price, then after you sit down they approach you with a $20 dollar charge. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, cold cereal and black coffee, all other items were already gone, and again they would not make a price adjustment for this. Also, a cup of plain black coffee that they have sitting out in the lobby comes with a $3 fee....again unadvertised. This hotel is one of the pricier hotels in cranberry and they nickel and dime you for everything! We will not use this hotel again and for this reason, and we have also diverted our family who are coming to visit for a family wedding to a different hotel. read more

The rooms are nice and the conference buffet lunches were excellent. So why the 2 stars? First is that the atruim rooms don't get dark at night, due to light leakage above and below the "blackout" curtains, and a lighted room light switch that is incredibly bright. Lots of light leaks around the door frame as well. The second reason for the low rating is the breakfast. The only hot options were dried out scrambled eggs, overcooked sausage, or bacon. Not even a wafflemaker, let alone someone cooking omlets, etc. Wouldn't have been terrible if it was free, but at $18 a person it was way less than I expected. Its a shame, this place deserves better blackout curtains and a better breakfast, because otherwise it was great. read more

This is the renamed Sheraton, which I stayed at last year. Hotel needs to be updated. Being a diamond member I wouldn't expect to be on the 2nd floor at the end versus on a Hilton Honors floor. Had to call for a refrigerator. Took forever to cool down the room. Friendly front desk. Impressed front desk called to see how things were in the first few hours after I checked in. Haven't seen breakfast buffet yet. Workout room sucks! They need newer equipment. Throw out the old Sheraton junk. Parking lot fills up so you have a far walk. Funny that the elevator button still doesn't light up like it did a year ago. Ok I am editing my review. Breakfast buffet is ok with eggs, bacon, sausage and fruit. Got stuck in the workout room. You must press a button to open the door which is stupid. It wouldnt release so i had to help it with my foot. Parking was horrible with a filled up ballroom. I have to stay here; otherwise i would move to the garden inn. I dont like the noise from the turnpike. read more

For the most part , the staff was very friendly. I didn't appreciate that I wasn't allowed to take a bowl of oatmeal up to the room for my ailing husband. Who, by the way is a Diamond member and since he is a VERY frequent flyer, I would've expected better. I was told not allowed to take anything from Buffet to go. Yet I saw a woman with a styrofoam take-out style container loading up with pastries and taking them out. I've NEVER stayed at any Hilton where we weren't allowed to take out from the Buffet if we chose not to eat there and we preferred to eat in our rooms. Great hotel. I was in town for business, I am picky and this will be my go to for all my trips to Philadelphia. Very clean rooms, well kept not showing age or anything if that nature. I was in the suites tower and the rooms were quiet. The gym is very nice and clean. The location is good, lots of dining options close but the Standing O restaurant in the lobby is good. I had the burger and the salmon both were great. The area is safe and also close to city hall and attractions. It's a 10 for sure. read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The arrival area immediately out front has ridiculously loud Christmas music playing in the middle of June. The lobby is very nice although it seems a little dated. The elevators are kinda small. I requested a ground level room when I made the reservation, but despite the parking lot seemingly not too full, I got stuck on the top floor. The room was relatively small and functional. The window looks out onto the large lobby area. The curtains closed fully admitting very little light which was a nice change from most hotels where they often let in too much light. The AC seemed to be a building AC and despite me setting the thermostat to the low 60s, it never got cooler than 70. As a result, even with the blankets off I was sweating and woke up uncomfortable multiple times. This was my biggest complaint and as important as room temp is for my personal comfort, I doubt I'll be staying here again. For all I know, it could have been an issue with that particular room only, but I'm not interested in trying again. Last but not least, I was told because of COVID, there was no breakfast service available. I was given a bag with a muffin, a bottle of water and a bottle of apple juice. read more

We didn't learn this until we checked in for a wedding with many many family members staying here. There was another group there who received a full hot breakfast. We were so glad we chose this hotel. We had a wedding reception at Shakespeare's in Elwood City and were looking for a place for our out of town guests to stay. We could not have asked for better accommodations. They provided us with a room block and since we had more than ten rooms on Friday and Saturday they provided us with a free room each night. Victoria was great to work with and helped us with whatever we needed. She added rooms as needed and returned my calls quickly. We rented a pavilion on Friday at a nearby park and they provided a free shuttle to and from for all of our guests staying at the hotel. We had about 60 guests staying at the hotel and there is lots of room for everyone to hang out together. On Friday we gathered around their beautiful pool area and after the wedding we hung out in the large lobby until 3 a.m. and they were very accommodating. They passed out welcome bags for all of our guests and we chose to pay a little more each night so that the rooms would include two free breakfast/brunch passes. The food was amazing and it was another great opportunity for us to be together. On Sunday they have a Jazz brunch that goes until 1 pm. We were very impressed by the staff, amenities, and overall experience. We looked at many hotels in the Cranberry area and this one definitely had the nicest lobby and areas for guests to congregate. read more

Booked this through Hotwire (KNOWING we were going to get this Double tree hotel based on stars, price, etc...) We booked to have pool and hot-tub access, a nice atrium and nice hotel bar to visit, and to utilize our Hilton points. WRONG. Pool and hot--tub are closed and have been for some time. Why false advertise ? Atrium is a open construction zone. why show pictures of this beautiful lobby that isnt there ? Bar ? nope. Breakfast area ? nope, just a small conference room with hotplates of food and $3 bagels. Did we get our Hilton points ? nope. Staff told me Hilton stopped giving points to cheap people who go through Hotwire. how nice ! Pool broken until April she said ? Atrium being built by ? who knows ? had a guy doing construction work 1 foot from my "lovely atrium view" window, while we were changing clothes. Thanks. Had construction noise all day friday. Had light coming in our windows all night from the bright construction lights left on in atrium. The first time I stayed here my credit card number was stolen by what I can only believe was a staff member. I ordered room service and shortly after had a phone call from someone who announced themselves as the front desk manager telling me the card I had on file wasn't working and asking for a new one. As I was tired and he referred to me by name and confirmed my room number and the last 4 digits of my credit card number, I gave him a new one. Bad choice I know, but I was so tired my brain wasn't working. The next morning, multiple large purchases had been made on my card. I assumed this was an isolated incident. One bad staff member in the kitchen, right? So I decided to come back, because the rooms are nice (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) and the location is right for the business trips I make to the area. Wrong choice. I'm up on the 5th floor and the music in the atrium for some party is so loud that I can't even drown it out with the tv. And it's not good music. It just started now at 8:30, so the 9pm bedtime I had scheduled so I could get up and leave early doesn't seem to be happening tonight. Who has a band in the atrium on a weeknight with other travelers in your hotel? Uncool, Doubletree. I guess there's a reason this hotel is so inexpensive. I usually like Doubletree hotels, but this is the exception . Although the staff is wonderful, there us just so much they can do. The food for breakfast room service was so bad I couldn't eat it. Was delivered cold and soggy. Complained and the took it off my bill, but why bother. Rooms are dated, but they say they are remodeling. Now I'm in the atrium bar, the soda is flat, I'm hoping the turkey club is edible. Well, it is good, but not great. Toast is cold, because they were waiting to deliver it for the fries. Oh well. Oh, the free WiFi is terrible, slow and freezes, we have to use our 4G service. read more

I and my husband stayed here overnight. It was under renovation but rooms are very good , clean and spacious. Staff is good too. They did provide with complimentary cookie. It was yummy! I would give 5 stars but.... They don't have complimentary breakfast. And DO NOT FORGET to take a toothbrush and toothpaste with you cause you won't find it in the hotel. I've stayed here many times for business. It's a very nice doubletree, one of the nicest I've stayed in. The staff is very friendly, occasionally they will text you (which I thought was strange at first) to check in on your stay. They seem to really care about their guests. The breakfast is consistent and the chef is friendly and accommodating. If you can, pick and even number room so your window faces the outside. The odd numbers face inwards and open to a view of their huge lobby. I prefer to look outside with even number rooms. The gym is a decent hotel gym, they have free bottles of water in the gym so that's a plus if you need bottled water. Parking is a little far away from the entrances so it sucks if it's raining. Overall an above average hotel. read more

Decent hotel, but not up to par with most Hiltons. Rooms are slightly outdated and the bathroom was nothing special. We struggled with the water pressure in the shower. Apparently this is an issue in a lot of the rooms. Not a deal breaker though. As mentioned in the other reviews the AC was horrendous. We could not get the temp down and it was hot and muggy all night. The lobby area/atrium is nice but my one complaint is with the location of the bar and the bar staff. It's right smack in the middle of the lobby with rooms surrounding it. We were staying for a wedding and due to noise complaints we were forced to move to another room on the side of the lobby. Granted this was late night and after the reception so I understand the noise but still a bad place. The bar staff was ridiculous. Very unhelpful, not friendly, and for some reason cut multiple people off for no reason. Disappointing. The pool area was very nice. An indoor/outdoor combo with a good setup. To start with: This is my first and only experience so far with a doubletree hotel. I say this because it seems the other reviews compared this hotel with other doubletrees. However, I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and I loved the warm cookies guests get as a greeting. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. I chose a room with a balcony looking over the highway and regretted it. I wished I would have gotten one looking over the lobby! My only reasoning for the four stars instead of five is because being right next to the highway, there was some noise. It was not bad really, but it was noticeable. Also the shower took a while to figure out. Everything was clean and I am not sure about the other reviews but my stay was fantastic. read more

This was my second stay at the DoubleTree. Unfortunately I would not recommend staying there. During my first stay, I booked through a 3rd party and my room was still occupied by the guest from the night before. Our second experience was just as poor. We arrived around 8 pm, where the concierge told us that 'we had already been checked in'. Then we found out that the person who checked into the room had a similar name. They already had a card on file for them and our information was gone. The story line did not add up and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes to get a new room. The room was very hot although the air stated it was set at 68. It also was very noisy. We had discussed our concerns with multiple members of their team and no one offered us any clear answers. We are all still confused on how someone could check into our room who didn't have the same name, ID or credit card information. We will not be staying at this Doubletree again. read more

Hotel staff is really kind! My sister and I stayed for the night and we got a room right next to the elevator which was unfortunate because it was pretty loud for most of the night but eventually it did die down. We ordered room service and it was pretty bland as well as burnt. The pizza was burnt on the bottom and the burger patty was so dry. The fries were also super cold because it was about an hour before we got our food. Something I kind of expected since it is hotel food, but for the price I did expect it to be a little better! It was 56$ for a burger & fries,pizza,Mac n cheese & extra fries. It was something new for us so we weren't too upset but I do know next time I will order out!! Also the internet password is NOWHERE in the room and the site they have set up is no good so call the front desk and ask for the password. Also tv doesn't have very much to offer without it going very blurry but we did watch some good movies! Overall I rate it a 7/10 but do yourself the favor and skip throom service. read more

Excellent customer service. Clean and great value. Front desk staff at check in ( 3/21 10:30 pm) was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel.
