I rekindled my relationship with OrangeTheory because I was working on a project for my part-time job at the time that involved drawing their signature splat point over and over again so I took that as a sign to give it a try again. The workouts are great and I appreciate the science that goes into the daily workout design so I don't have to spend time figuring out what to do and when. The overall studio culture is pretty okay now--I appreciate the effort that goes into trying to promote member's small businesses, the service projects for the community, etc. You pick your "spot" for the day when you arrive and check in so it eliminated my biggest issue when I left which was people telling me I was on their treadmill. The equipment is kept up to date and clean, but sometimes I feel this studio is behind on updates compared to other ones in the area. Overall, I am grateful for having a studio close to home because it helps me keep a routine and start my day off strong!

The gym is small, but very clean, organized and well stocked with new exercise equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, weight machines, weights, etc.). The shower/locker rooms are also very clean and organized and is well stocked with shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion, hair spray, razors, q-tips, towels, mouthwash, hair dryers, etc. The classes are generally 45 minutes long and are offered in the mornings, lunch hours, and after business hours, which is very convenient. The class instructors are pretty helpful and will motivate participants to challenge themselves. The only downsides are that they're not open on the weekends and does not have sauna/whirlpool, but I can't fault them for that due to space limitations and this is how gyms typically operate in the loop.

They have amazing workout regime and definitely impactful strength training classes. I've attended Sean's Run X Lift classes for upper and lower body and loved both of them! Sean is my favorite trainer!! He is super motivating and I love his sassy comments throughout the class. I usually opt for Double Floor(DF) where you can skip the treadmill and just use weights all class! What I don't like about Barry's is that they're a bit unfair to ClassPassers lol. The credits required to signup for Barry's through ClassPass is usually on the higher side and even after using those credits, you are not guaranteed a spot for DF as they are limited. Also, their only Lift classes are almost blocked for ClassPass and one can never sign up for them! I am hoping they increase more slots for ClassPassers as I definitely would like to try more of their workout regimes! P.S. They also have free massage gun stations outside the studio from Theragun which you can use pre/post workout, which is really good and I don't think I've ever seen that before!

The people from executive came to my company a few years ago when they first opened and offered a special rate to our employees. I went over there and was unimpressed. However, they have done significant remodeling since and so upon their second visit here I decided to check it out. The gym itself is modest but seems to have enough equipment that even during lunch hour the place is not overly crowded. They have a basketball court which seems to be popular with the men and then classes held in a small studio. I have attended many of the classes and have been impressed with them all. They purposely run only 45 minutes with the executive worker in mind. The locker rooms are very nice and include all the amenities, towels, shampoo, deodorant etc. The locker room are a little small but workable. Over all I really like this gym and the convenience really helps motivate me. The staff are very friendly and the instructors are brutal (in a good way!).

The Gym Pod is great for private workouts! In Pod 1, there were tons of weights, resistance bands,…read moremats, and a treadmill. There's sanitizing spray and paper towels to clean up and mirrors that surround the pod. You receive a code at the exact start time of your reservation by downloading the app. The app will send time check-ins to ensure you wrap up by the end of your reserved time. When you get through the first door, there are codes to get into your individual door. Getting in and out was seamless.
