I would have to see the positives is the good water, pressure, hot water, excellent staff, cold ac, quick elevators, beautiful view that was given to us, and very clean Hotel. The negatives was a strange $25 fee for premium Wi-Fi which we could use $15 of that to purchase overpriced items in the lobby. And what I mean by overpriced is $12 for a beer. And that's right , a can of beer. Another example is seven dollars for a Coke 20 ounce. Another negative is the cleaning staff forgot to put coffee in our room once, forgot to put cups once and did not take our dirty towels and give us new towels once. They also did not give us the two complementary waters that they were supposed to give us every day. I must say, though that when I called the front desk, they did apologize and made sure that they rectified the problems. I would say overall, it was an excellent stay and we really enjoyed staying there since it was very close to pikes Place market, about a seven minute walk. It was also close by too many eateries and the monorail and other public transportation that we took around the city since we didn't get a car. read more

Very nice hotel in downtown Seattle, steps to the waterfront and closeby shopping. I would stay here again but would ditch the car. They give you a drink voucher for their rooftop bar and also $15 food credit to use at their snack store or elsewhere, very nice gesture. But, everything in downtown Seattle is money. I got here early and asked for early check in and they did have a room ready but it was $30 extra. I took it because I needed to drop off my stuff, change and go for a meeting. To park your car here, its highway robbery and $60/night and you really have no other choice. But parking is secure and under the hotel. In and out access the entire time you stay here. Room was nice, bed comfy, but weird no full length mirror in my room. But, would stay again, as such good access to waterfront. read more

We arrived early and had to wait for our rooms to be prepared, which is understandable. We had 15.00 per room per day "My Way" credits but were offered no information as to how to use them nor where they could be used. They never told us if Frolik was open at that time or not. We ended up having a disappointing meal at Elephant and Castle (not affiliated with the hotel). Mohammed did a very poor job of explaining how the parking system worked. He indicated that one room key would be designated as being linked to parking sytem. In fact, none of the 4 keys (2 per each of 2 rooms) actually worked on the system. Oddly, you need to be able to trigger the gate to enter the garage and not leave it. Other than that, the rooms were nice. water pressure was very good. Check out time and only two people on the front desk. Seems odd to have so little staff working at that time. read more

This review is only for their parking garage, not the hotel itself. We managed to visit Seattle on a day when a big event was planned and traffic was diverted from our destination. You can imagine the traffic that ensued! We saw their parking sign and as it was much quicker to walk, we managed to get into their lot (after nicely asking another driver to let us through traffic). This is Seattle, and it's near the waterfront, a few blocks down the hill, and Pioneer Square (hello Smith Tower) a few blocks over, so the parking doesn't come cheap but also, it's not out of line for the area. Somewhere in between. There is an elevator in the middle of the garage, and parking is on two levels. The one elevator in the parking garage is elevator 5 in the hotel lobby, which is understandably where the elevator drops you off from a hotel parking garage. For hotel guests, elevators 1-4 go up to the rooms, but not down to the garage, so you need to exit the elevator in the lobby, and get into elevator 5 to get to your vehicle. Just FYI Pay at the exit by scanning the ticket you get upon entering, and then scanning your credit card. I did see one pay stations in the garage as well. read more

LOVE this hotel! I'm here on a work trip for 7 days and chose this spot for its awesome location in the heart of downtown and it's a Hilton property so I can rack up some Hilton points! As a diamond member you get $15 food and beverage here up to 2 additional guests making it a total of $45 per day. The staff I've seen so far have been so friendly and helpful. I have a rental car and I will say the price for the garage down below the hotel is pretty steep $75 a day. I will say I LOVE LOVE LOVE how private this place feels. So you park down below and there's a private elevator that takes you to your lobby elevators and you just hop right on that to your floor. Super convenient talk about an introverts DREAM no crowds of people or lobby's with passerby's just straight shot to your room. The location is so beautiful I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Seattle and want to be close to Pike market place and every restaurant literally. There's also a regal cinema 4 min walk from the hotel ! They have a restaurant on the 5th floor and a nice rooftop patio area (which has been closed for remodeling as of now during the holidays) Highly recommend staying here! read more

For work i typically stay at this location as its centrally located and reasonably priced in the downtown area. Its also near the westlake station so it makes it easy to take the light rail from the airport. An added plus is that the Pikes Place Market is only a few blocks away so its easy to go down there for a quick stop and pick up a few things. Uniqlo and Target are also nearby as well as other clothing stores in case you forget something and need to pick up a few essentials. Overall the hotel is nice and clean and with my member benefits, I can use my food an beverage credit to grab snacks which i bring home as typically when im traveling for work, im eating out with coworkers or clients. You also get a beer or wine voucher for the restaurant so you can grab a drink and head to your room to settle in after traveling from your home destination. read more

It seems nuce at first glance, but after seeing it a bit closer, far less so. The lobby is simple, with 3 individual podium desk check-ins, which are incredibly slow. Though I use the app for check-in, they required check in at the front desk, which required a wait. The rooms were cleani-ish, but could have used a better cleaning. There were large balls of black dusty fuzz on our white bed comforter. The shower gel dispenser was empty which I learned after getting in the shower; that was incredibly annoying. The person who checked us in provided inaccurate info regarding some things, which created some confusion and frustration. The water view was great, sans the ugly rooftops without green spaces. We went to Frolik for a snack. They had very limited vegan options, and the hummus was pily with a weirdly unpleasant flavor profile. Though we couldn't eat it, it was beautifully plated. The shishito peppers were very good. This hotel had a lot of potential, but missed the mark, esp for it's price. We are unlikely to stay here again given other options in the area. read more

I love it when the face of an organization sets the tone for your stay. For us it was Kyler. He was funny, knowledgeable, and just the perfect person you'd want to be greeting your guests. There was one MAJOR issue that came up during our stay and all we could say is: "If Kyler were here, this wouldn't have happened" We went to the restaurant attached to the hotel and had a wonderful meal. Thanks to Michelle for that!! Those are the positives, now for the negative. Our bathroom had mold in the shower. I don't know if this is a Hilton problem or what because I had the same issue in a Hilton property in Dallas but I digress. We were only staying one night so it wasn't the end of the world (still gross though) my biggest problem though is that no one took the steps to make it right! I'm not much of a complainer but I did bring it up to two front desk people and while they wanted the pics I took, no one said: "I'm sorry this happened to you, let me get you a free glass of wine" or anything of the like. Just a small gesture can stop someone from feeling wrong done and by all means Hilton PLEASE CLEAN THE SHOWERS BETTER!!!!! read more

Came out here Thanksgiving weekend and stayed the night. We had a beautiful view of the city on the 20th floor (I believe) and it was fun to see the holiday lights at night. Checking in and parking was relatively easy and the room was spacious and chic. A Hilton rewards person myself, it has all the amenities of any Hilton. Yes the hotel is a bit dated but is to be a bit expected in a city? However the decor and upkeep seemed decent during our stay. read more

From checking in to checking out, and everything else, I really enjoyed my one-night stay at Hilton Motif. I was in town to assist at a Yelp Elite Event that was being held at the nearby Museum of Illusion, so the Motif was the perfect place as it was literally a 2 minute walk from the event. Upon check-in, I was kindly upgraded to a large room on the 11th floor, with a peek-a-boo Puget Sound view and spacious living quarters. The hotel is clearly older, but has been remodeled in recent years. The decor is modern and vibrant, giving a youthful feel to the place. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was very quiet besides quite literally being in the middle of the city. The property felt very safe, too. There was a security guard posted at the front door, and the elevators required a key card to get to your room. As a female, I appreciate these types of measures when I'm traveling solo. Parking was a little steep at $60/night, but did have in & out privileges. And they have something similar to a daily "resort fee" which seemed quiet excessive (especially since I was there less than 24 hours). It would be nice if this fee was optional, as I didn't end up using the facilities (such as the gym) that it covered. read more

I really liked this hotel. I came to Seattle for a conference. I've been there for layovers but never actually spent time in Seattle until this trip. This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Seattle (I think). There were lots of restaurants and stores nearby. There's a great breakfast spot right across the street with the best croissant sandwiches. We went there most mornings. There is a parking lot on the property and the spaces are pretty tight. The parking lot is a little funky if I'm being honest but it got the job done. When you first walk into the hotel, there is a nice lobby area. The folks at the front desk were friendly and checked me in pretty quickly. When I walked into the room, it was nice. I was impressed with the look and feel. The beer was comfortable and things were mostly clean. I would stay here again. read more

This hotel has a lot going for it. The design of the rooms is not one of them. First, the breakfast was great! I got the salmon Benedict and the salmon bagel. Both were simple dishes: bread (English muffin or bagel), smoked salmon, creamy topping (hollandaise or cream cheese), something else (egg or tomatoes). However, they were very expensive on the order of $40 with a drink. The room left much to be desired. I had a one-bedroom suite. The bedroom was very dark even with all the lights on. In fact, the entire suite was poorly lit with very few lights in useful places. There was nothing in the living room and the dining area had a dim overhead light with another floor lamp on the side. Of course, the location is relatively good if you are at the convention center and it's not a terrible walk from either the Symphony or Westlake train stop. Will I stay there again? Probably so, because I'm a Hilton Honors Diamond member and this is the closest to the convention center since the Hilton changed brands, The Sound is a little too far, and Hampton Inn is ... Awesome property, great location, walkable to most downtown attractions and shopping. The service is great, and plenty of amentities. The outdoor fire pit under cover is a nice touch also. Parking is easy and they handle parking well at the front desks. We were able to park our car there ahead of check in, explore the city and market by walking, and come back for checkin. The rooms were spacious and clean, no issues with the room at all. Join the Hilton rewards program for some perks. The overall stay at the hotel was good. Ran into few issues that hopefully they'll fix or find some remedy. The key card doesn't always work for entering and exiting the garage. The digital key card randomly stopped working. Parking. I prepaid parking each day I was there (tacked onto my bill) and I called months in advance and was told there is plenty of parking, never any issue especially since I am a hotel guest. I'm a die-hard Hilton fan because of their consistently clean rooms and great customer service, and Motif definitely lived up to that reputation overall! I actually stayed here twice in one trip -- checked in on Saturday, checked out to head to Port Angeles, and then returned on Tuesday. My first stay was amazing! We were given drink vouchers for their restaurant (I think it was called Frolic?) and $15 credit for the Hilton mini market, where I got bottled water. We also got a room on one of the higher floors with an incredible view -- super clean and comfortable. I also appreciated that they held our bags for us while we explored the area before check-in. The front desk team was organized and helpful with the luggage system. On the second stay, though, the experience was a bit different. The staff member who checked us in seemed a little disengaged -- maybe just having an off day. We didn't receive the same vouchers or mini market credit as before, which was confusing since it had only been two days. When I asked about water, he just directed me to the fruit-infused water in the lobby. Not a big deal, but definitely a noticeable change. Overall, still a great stay -- clean rooms, excellent location, and I'd absolutely stay here again. Just hoping for a bit more consistency next time! read more

Seattle has become a more interesting and challenging place to visit over the past 9 years. especially with the increased walkability challenges in downtown, this makes hotel location even more important. Not only is the Motif ideally located, but it also has a halfway decent restaurant located right outside the front door and a hotel restaurant on the 5th floor. Being in town on both business and pleasure, this comfortable and clean hotel is perfectly suitable for both and even better, comes with a decent view. This review has been long overdue, but the experience truly deserves recognition. I booked and paid for our reservation months in advance--back in March for an October 4'th stay. From the beginning, Anna Kozlova provided outstanding support. Her patience and professionalism were impeccable. She kindly noted on our account that we were celebrating an anniversary and did her best to arrange an early check-in. Upon arrival, Mohammad informed us that no rooms were immediately available. I asked if he could call us once one opened up, and we took the opportunity to explore Seattle. Around noon, I called the hotel and spoke with a staff member who confirmed a room was ready. We returned promptly, and I updated Mohammad. Seeing how exhausted my husband and I were--having left home at 3:30 AM for a 5:30 AM flight--Mohammad went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable room to celebrate our special occasion. He was gracious, apologetic for the delay, and attentive to our needs. Both Anna and Mohammad deserve special recognition. Anna anticipated our arrival and made sure our anniversary was acknowledged, while Mohammad ensured our experience at Hilton Motif was truly memorable. The lounge offered complimentary drinks and served the best truffle fries--everything I requested was prepared perfectly. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, generous portions that were both satisfying and delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend Hilton Motif. Very disappointed in this hotel. It was not all bad. The location is great. Lots of good food, coffee and shopping near by. Overall the staff was very nice. That's the end of the good stuff. The hotel is running down. There are signs of mold and worn carpets. The elevators randomly ignore the call buttons ( had to hold the button down for over 5 minutes to get an elevator at one point). The food in Frolik is limited and frankly not very good. Going to try a different hotel next trip Won't be be going back to this one read more

We visited for one night. We checked in, our room had a nice city view, but was smaller than we expected. We asked if there was a bigger room available, and they told us all rooms, not including suites, are the same size. We went to visit family after unpacking our belongings. Upon returning, neither of our keys worked. We let the front desk know, and they said they'd send up a technician. After 15 minutes waiting outside our room, we asked again about the technician, and they passively said he was on the way. We waited about other 15 minutes, and he showed up. After tinkering with the door unsuccessfully, we said we would check in again with the front desk so see what they can do for us. Another 30 minutes, we sat in the lobby. No one offered us any solution or hospitality. When we asked if they could break in to the room, the front desk manager rudely stated the door was worth more than the room rate. Frustrated, we then asked again to speak to the operations manager. At that point, he told us she was at our room. Once we got back to our room, we waited a bit more and they finally broke in with a hanger. At that point, she offered us a new room and wine AFTER we told her another hotel would offer some sort of kind gesture. By the way, the new room was not as small as the first room. Besides the second manager, the staff was not friendly or accommodating in any way. read more

Stayed here for the night to experience the Seattle night life. This location was great and close to everything we needed to have a good time! Hilton has always had a great reputation and this location did not disappoint. From the minute we checked in to the hotel, the staff were great, pleasant and very welcoming. Decorations were up to date and lighting was adequate to set the mood. Room was clean, had great views to the city, and relaxing. Room included refrigerator and coffee machine for convenience and snacks for sale in the lobby. $10 credit for food and beverage offered daily and a complimentary drink at the restaurant during business hours. Challenges that presented during our stay: -Parking is very tight for large sized vehicles -ATM is not available outside of restaurant operating hours -No overnight room service available Overall, this was a fun and great experience with Hilton. Cassandra helped me out multiple times during my two night stay. She was great and very knowledgable. I like the fact that they have a little turn in to get picked up and dropped off out front. I didn't rent a car because $57 a night for parking is steep. Rooms are nice with great views of downtown depending which way you are facing. The restaurant on the 5th floor has an outside patio which is beautiful. My room was spacious and the bathroom was updated nicely. It had a large shower and marble counters. I also enjoyed the fridge in the room. I would love to stay here again. read more

This hotel is in a great location. I chose it because in 2013 we stayed here for New Year's Eve as they allowed dogs. We were attending a concert at the Paramount Theater, I wanted to be able to walk there from the hotel. Check in was somewhat easy, tried to check in via the hotel app but was unable to do so until I checked in at the desk. The room was very nice and had a wonderful view of the water. Our room had two queen beds, The only drawback about the room was we could hear our neighbors talking and having sex. We had breakfast the next morning in the hotel cafe. The coffee was bold and delicious! I ordered the breakfast bowl, which was scrambled eggs and potatoes. Perfect, hit the spot. My husband ordered the avocado toast. It was a quick and convenient stay. Parking is under the building, it was secure and had a guard roaming around, cost $75! This is a modern trendy and centrally located hotel. There was a fire in the alley on the night of December 9th at 12:20am. The ventilation system picked up the smoke and it spread throughout the entire building. We were in the room and smelt smoke, but the fire and smoke alarms did not go off. We called the front desk but there was no answer so we opened the door and found that the entire 9th floor was engulfed in smoke. We looked around at other confused guests and led the way down the emergency exit on the stairs. As we approached the ground floor, we met other guests from the 12th and 24th floors who confirmed that their entire floor was also covered with smoke and no alarms went off. The sprinklers were going off on the first floor and and the fire department was working on extinguishing the fire. There was no alarm or official update presented to the guests downstairs before we heard through other guests that we were allowed back to our rooms. We asked the remaining firefighters in the area and and they wrote up the building for a violation. They determined the best route of the night is to keep a fire watch which means that someone will patrol each floor once an hour. We went back to our room but there was still smoke throughout the whole room. The smell was too strong so we left that night to go to a friend's house. The next morning we came back and we saw new guests checking in but without any warnings about the events of the previous night. The severity of this event was downplayed because the fact of the matter is that if we did not smell the smoke ourselves, we would not have opened the door to check or left the room because none of the alarms went off. It would have been an extremely dangerous situation if we were already asleep. We called the Hilton for assistance to rebook or transfer us to a different hotel and was transferred six times and disconnected once. We then checked out and had to book a different hotel down the street out of pocket ourselves. We stayed at the Motif before because of its location and convenience, but the disregard for our safety and the lack of concern that Hilton has shown from this situation is disappointing. The only bright side was Kyler who was working the front desk, he stayed behind many hours after his shift to take care of the guests. read more

The many stars is because of the proximity of the hotel to many amazing locations. You can take the monorail around the corner to go to space needle and down the street is pike place market where you can see the first Starbucks location and okay restaurants but get ready to pay $$ for the meals. Frolik was okay for rooftop restaurant, you get $10 to spend each day and two welcome beverages. The internet is pretty spotty. It didn't work 2 out of 5 days, I called the front desk and my phone also didn't work. The hair dryer was the worst one I have ever seen in all of my stays... so bring your own.... Again 4 stars because the location is extremely convenient to many spaces. read more

Room is ok. The hotel is in a good location. Five minute walk to Westlake station. 10 to 15 minute walk to pike fish market. I gave it 2 stars because of dishonest business practice of not telling guest that you can decline the 25 dollar surcharge. My wife checked it and they gave her the impression that the carge was required. I come to find that out at the end of the stay when a guest pushed back on it. The surcharge gives you 15 dollar food credit and premium wifi. You can decline and you just get standard wifi. read more

Worst hotel o have stayed fir years and I travel a ton. I am a Hilton diamond member and I got two rooms to take my adult children and significant others to visit my daughter in Seattle for three nights. It was also one of my son's birthday's so upgraded his room to a skyline view room for the last night for a rather large difference! My room has a broken toilet handle, so the majority of our trip we could not flush the toilet. It was not clogged the flushing mechanism just did not work. We had to have them come up several times to fix it, with hours and hours in between we dealt with it over multiple days and they would not change our room. When they would come in to fix it the people that "fixed" it would either tell us the floor was now wet and we would need to clean it up or the last time they used all our clean towels to wipe the floor and just left them their for us. So we basically were walking in toilet water the whole weekend. I had to request new towels and whenever I would call down they just sounds annoyed. The last night fit my son's "skyline" view he was put up on the 14th floor instead of the 10th with the exact same view he had. No skyline - total waste of my money and his time to move. They would not give him a room that was actually a "skyline" view. The staff were ride, not helpful, the hotel rooms were dated and cheap looking, gross to be staying in toilet water and no house keeping for three nights! I would not recommend to anyone! read more

The hotel and the room were very good. Room was a nice size, and had a coffee / tea area stocked in the room . The reason for my Low rating was the elevators . To access the lobby you must use an elevator since the lobby is above the parking garage several stories above ground level . The issue was that although 3 elevators exist, only one of them was ever working during my stay on May 31 - June 1st 2025. Due to the elevators not all working it took me over 15 minutes just to check-in to the hotel. On my departure again only one elevator appeared to be working. read more
