Goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, yaks, chickens and bunnies !! Family owned farm $10 a person to enter which comes with a feeed bag so feed the animals With. My friends and I spent like an hour or two petting all the sweet animals. We will definitely be back in a month when they have produce and flowers to buy! So fun, great way to spend a morning, follow with a picnic! I'm very surprised this farm wasn't bussing with people ! My friends and I had the entire farm to ourselves !

We've driven on the part of 202 which passes by The Red Barn Farm so many times over the years and were used to seeing the barn looking neglected. Last weekend I noticed a sign inviting people to stop by so we decided to check it out. Apparently about eight years ago it was restored and became an event space and (active) farm. My favorite things were probably the (many) chickens, (two) mules, and BEAUTIFUL flowers (which were still growing until it was time to make the bouquet). We didn't need any pumpkins but noticed they had a nice pumpkin patch. Apparently they normally have a big Fall Festival in October but this year it's much smaller. They are putting together a little scavenger hunt trail (for kids?), though, so that should be available soon. We stopped by as they were closing so we saw a few families at first and then basically had the place to ourselves.

The Red Barn Farm is my son's favorite place! We've been 3 times now and we love it! They have so many cute animals & you can buy a bag of food to feed them for $5. It is great! There's so many things to do, toys and bubbles for the kids, they usually have some pretty great food trucks & events too. During the summer they do farmers markets and if you're lucky enough you can score some fresh eggs too! They sell out a lot! Last time we went they also revamped the barn and now they have some beers and great seating areas too. This place is a hit for both adults & kids alike! We love taking family when they're visiting from out of town.

Small farm close to the city. This is a very much so family friendly farm. The owners really have captured a family culture where children can come explore & experience farm life. They have a handful of animals that you can feed for $5. They have a small farm store with cute clothes, toys, hand picked flowers & more. Occasionally they will host events where other small businesses owners participate such as food trucks & eco friendly home products. Follow them on Instagram, the owners share the day to day life of the farm. You become so familiar that when you actually visit you know so much it makes it feel like family.

My 3 year old and I came for the fun farmers market on Wednesday 3pm to 7pm and was pleasantly surprised at all the fun things to do for kids! My son loved the coloring book station, connect 4 and tractor toys. He ran around looking at all the animals and playing the duck race. I loved getting a drink at the bar and playing corn hole in the beer garden. The barn also looks like a cute event space you could hire which would be good for the upcoming rain and cold season. We enjoyed dinner from the Mexi cuban food food truck that was there for the farmers market. We will definitely come back next Wednesday!

Our first time here a few weeks ago - my 5 year old loves animals and feeding animals so thought we'd visit this farm. They have an appt scheduling system due to COVID - very easy. When we arrived, the owner greeted us with a bag of goodies for the animals and told us about her farm which was lovely. They have a lot of diff animals including many many chickens lol. My son was a little bit scared at first with so many chickens roaming free but he got used to it after a bit. It's a really beautiful place and I saw the setup for weddings which looked really nice.

Lots of farm animals and flowers for sale and display. Good 1-1.5 hour entertainment for kids and/or elders. Parking was good and included in the ticket prices. The entry is priced per car of no more than 4 members. They also provided a bag of veggies and grains to feed the animals.

At Brackenhollow, we've found exactly what we were looking for: real experiences with horsemanship and people who are happy to share their knowledge. A major highlight for my daughter is the Brackenhollow Pony Club, which offers an incredible extra curriculum. It covers everything from unmounted horse care and bandaging to rally prep, providing the deep technical knowledge that is so hard to find elsewhere. Not only have our riding skills improved under the guidance of incredibly kind and knowledgeable instructors, but we've also deepened our hands-on experience by working at the barn. The best part is that you get out what you put in - whether you want to be deeply involved in the 'gross and glorious' side of horse care or just enjoy your weekly ride, there's a place for you. You can be as involved as you want to be. The instructors are amazing, the students are supportive, and it is completely down-to-earth rather than overly competitive while also offering competition experience if desired (my daughter just started showing in jumper events last summer). We are so happy we found our home here!

Joanna and Duschka have had an immense amount of training from international experts and have impressive competition experience but are not pretentious. They give lessons to everyone from beginners to advanced competitors. They own a variety of horses of different sizes, colors, and breeds covering every level. Riders can also bring their own horse in for lessons. Before and after lessons, riders are taught how to groom, tack up and untack, and check their horse. Joanna and Duschka teach dressage, jumping, cross-country and eventing skills including training for competition and pony club ratings. I have been riding and taking lessons for over 10 years with Joanna and Duschka. I started as an adult having never really ridden as a kid and being a bit scared of horses. Starting with private lunge lessons I learned to balance properly enough to ride in group lessons. Soon I ended up taking riding twice a week and attended weeklong adult summer camp. Now I lease a horse at a neighboring barn and have weekly lessons at Brackenhollow. Lessons are not cheap but are great exercise that is well worth the money and much cheaper than having your own horse. I have seen many riders at Brackenhollow go from being timid or shy to become confident riders or competitors able to manage their horses even in difficult situations. Brackenhollow may not appear to be a fancy barn like others in the area but is a gem of a find near the Emerald City!

Due Cucina - Redmond…read more We really enjoyed everything we ordered here. Burrata Tricolore -- The salad was a standout. The balsamic dressing, pine nuts, and fresh greens were already delicious, and the burrata tied it all together with that perfect creamy finish. I could honestly eat this every day Eggplant Parmigiana -- Flavorful, satisfying, and refreshingly reasonable in portion size. Unlike some places that serve a mountain of bland eggplant, this one delivered on taste without overwhelming you. Carbonara -- Creamy, cheesy, and simply delicious. Pesto Pasta with Burrata -- Another favorite. The pesto had great flavor without that overly strong basil punch some places have. Adding burrata made it even better. Cheese Ravioli with Sage Butter -- Soft ravioli with a nicely filled center, paired with a sage butter sauce that was subtle rather than overpowering. Too much sage can ruin a dish for me, so this balance was perfect. A quick heads-up: this isn't a full-service restaurant. You order at the kiosk/front counter, grab your own utensils, napkins, and water, pick up your food when it's ready, and bus your own table afterward. We didn't mind the self-service setup at all--the food more than made up for it. We'll definitely be back

Gardening spaces are individually managed subplots for the farm/yard enthusiasts. All of them are in spectacular condition. Folks farming their little plot really want to farm it, and the results are amazing. From gorgeous flowers, to beautiful tomatoes, healthy corn stalks, 10+ feet tall sunflowers, watermelons, heirloom tomatoes and much more, these plots are a feast to the eye. It's like a botanical garden of the densely productive variety. According to the marymoorgarden.org/faq, gardeners pay a yearly plot rental fee, fulfill a community service commitment (for foodbank donations), and they cultivate their plot from May through Oct. Gardeners are required to have an obvious presence at each of their plots to weed and to prevent weeds from invading adjacent plots, which explains why they all look so incredibly healthy. Any unmaintained plots are returned to the pool. Water supply, mulch (in the form of wood chips and leaves), and a green waste area are all on site. We didn't specifically come to Marymoor Park to see the Community Gardens, but I certainly am glad we decided to stop and wander. The dahlias are in season and stunningly beautiful. The sunflowers are also in season and majestically tall. The vastness of produce varieties is envy-inducing, and we now have new ideas on trellis and support styles for climbing plants. At the very least, we learned what plants can be successfully grown here. If you're in the area, do drop in for a look. It's absolutely worth it. But if you're there to walk your dog, dogs are not allowed in the gardening area.

The weather couldn't have been better... sunny but not too hot, so I felt comfortable without any covering over the seating area. There is a cottage several yards away where the bridal party got ready, and it served as the starting point for them to begin their walk down the aisle. One might think that the main road running parallel to the property would be disruptive, but it's not a very busy street, so you don't hear the cars driving by. During cocktail hour, guests were directed to the covered bar area to grab drinks and the venue had set up some lawn games like Jenga and cornhole for additional entertainment during this time. There was plenty of space for socializing and capturing photos. The reception was held in the Grand Barn that also had an outdoor patio area perfect for a buffet line. The large barn doors at both ends helped keep the air flowing and there were 11 tables that comfortably seated all the guests with about nine people per table. On top of this, there was enough space for a small band to set up and play live music. I loved the string lighting that draped down from the ceiling which illuminated the entire barn in a magical glow. Restrooms are in a separate structure out by the lawn, so it is a little walk away from the barn. Each one has two stalls and one sink. I believe both are gender-neutral. They were super clean, air conditioned and well-ventilated. I really admired the property grounds and the serene location away from the bustle of Seattle. From a wedding guest perspective, I would highly recommend Trillium for your big day.

The venue is truly stunning, featuring a fantastic location, a breathtaking fountain in the center of a pond, and ample space for parking and guests. There is a designated cocktail area where our bartender set up, allowing guests to mingle comfortably. The reception space is magnificent, adorned with beautiful lighting and silk draping from the rafters, plus a prep kitchen conveniently located next to the dining area, making it an excellent choice for caterers. One of the key advantages is that the rental spans from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon, which alleviated any stress regarding setup and takedown. Additionally, there is an on-site Airbnb included in the package. We booked it for both Thursday and Monday, ensuring the groomsmen never had to leave the premises. This was the best decision we made for the wedding party. There is also a beautiful area for the bride and bridesmaid to get ready complete with their own station with a mirror, emergency items (bobby pins, sewing kits, hair spray, makeup removers, etc.) and outlets for hair essentials. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. Karissa and Tatijana managed the entire wedding with remarkable professionalism and care. On a day when it hadn't rained for over 25 years (talk about luck!), they skillfully accommodated and rearranged everything that needed attention without ever causing me concern. I am incredibly impressed by both of them; they are friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. If I had more daughters, I would undoubtedly choose this venue again.

The proprietor, Autumn, met us there to go through the electronics and the other details, and before I showed with all my snacks and flowers, she'd already put white tablecloths on all five (huge) tables, and pulled out additional smaller tables for pictures and memorabilia.
