I stayed at the AC Hotel for one night while in Seattle. The property is tucked away on a side street but still easy to spot from a major highway. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by the bellhop and assisted at the front desk by a young woman who seemed new but was friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and I couldn't resist grabbing one of the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the counter--it was delicious. My room was spotless, comfortable, and just what I needed after a long day of travel. For sightseeing, I rented a Lime scooter just outside the hotel and rode to the Space Needle in under 10 minutes. The location is convenient, the staff welcoming, and the hotel well-kept. I would recommend the AC Hotel and look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Seattle.

Unprofessional staff who were unwilling to compromise or problem solve a very easily fixable circumstance. This hotel has a "passenger loading/unloading zone" directly in front of the hotel. It is identified by a painted white curb extending roughly 30 feet in length. At one end of the painted white curb, there was a cone set up with the word "valet," indicating the area was used for valet purposes only. In front of this posted cone was approx 15-18 feet of legal curb space, having no painted markings or signs indicating that you could not park there. THIS IS WHERE I PARKED. To be clear, their posted "Valet" sign was to the rear of my vehicle. Not in front of it. I would say it was position right about where my rear bumper was. At the other end of the painted white curb, the hotel thought it okay to take possession or approx. 15-18 feet of legal curb space prior to the start or the painted white curb line indicated by another "valet" cone well ahead of the painted white passenger loading space. Moving on, I was informed by the valet attendant that where I parked was only reserved for the hotel valet. I indicated that the area he was referring to was legal parking space and that my car was legally parked. Further, I noted that they didn't have the right to assume legal parking curb space as their own just because they wanted to be able to park at least three vehicles in front of their hotel, which is what he told me. The staff, valet and front desk, stated that my car would possibly get towed if I didn't move the vehicle. I showed the front desk attendant where the curb was marked white and where it wasn't. She acknowledged the difference, but at first she couldn't tell the difference. She proceeded to deflect the issue toward the valet staff, but still contacted/texted her immediate supervisor Sabrina who told her that the city of Seattle would most likely tow my vehicle if it wasn't moved. I advised the front desk to have Sabrina call me directly so there's no middle man. I also knew that they were having immediate and direct contact with each other at this time of the situation. I received no call from Sabrina. Not a good look, Marriott. After waiting approx 10-15 minutes for a call and concluding that it was unlikely that Sabrina was going to call me, right then and there, I decided to move the car from its legal spot, reluctantly. It should be noted, the "preference" of the valet to have room to park three vehicles in front was there, even with my car parked where it was. Now that I moved the car, they now had room for 4 cars. I know some readers may be rolling their eyes, or thinking this is a trivial matter, but the street parking in the area is very limited and the only other logical option is to pay AC Hotel $65 to park valet overnight. So yes, seeing an open space to park and then being told I have to move with really no legal authority, only preference, is super frustrating and bothersome. YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT to occupy legal parking space without a valid permit or authorization from the city. This could have been resolved by acknowledging that I was legally parked, but still asking me politely if I could move based on your related "high hotel occupancy" or any other reasonable or understandable circumstance. Then, if I were unable to find street parking, follow up by offering a complimentary over night valet service for my car. This would have quickly dissolved this hotel-created confusing situation. Instead, you tried to scare your paid guests with the idea that their car would get towed away if not moved. Really? Is that really the best way to resolve an easy parking issue from the confusion that you guys created? The way this issue was "handled/not handled" will always be an issue with me with AC Hotel, Seattle Downtown. Be better. PLEASE MARK AS "USEFUL" IF YOU FOUND THIS POST TO BE HELPFUL IN ANY WAY.

While visiting Seattle I stayed at the AC Hotel for a few days . The AC hotel is a new hotel newly built /designed. The rooms are very modern , nice and clean . The lobby area is nice and smells really good . The concierge, parking attendant, bar manager were all so kind , helpful and provided top notch service. While my friend and I stayed at the AC we decided to have a few cocktail and appetizers at the bar . All were delicious. The AC hotel is easily accessible to downtown Seattle , Pike Place , shopping, etc. I highly recommend.

Gorgeous new place on the block!!…read more Stunning new event space right in south lake union/ downtown with sweeping lake union views. Views alone were worth a trip or 4!! Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! And that Photo Booth: all are essential part of throwing an epic event. All events should be this fun!! I guess they will be if you throw them here: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, sweet 16th. I wouldn't mind coming here for a photoshoot: hello contents!!Or just a fun anything event.Did I mention the views?? Ahh the possibilities!!!

This venue is exceptional for so many reasons: not only is it a non-profit venue, but they light over 100 candles for your event and provide so many things that you would typically need to rent at other venues (chairs, tables, glassware, etc.). Also there are so many things for your guests to do in downtown Ballard if your wedding is mainly out-of-town guests like ours was. Nate and the team were so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to spend our special day at Cathedral Ballard - it was truly so special!!! :)

There is a ground level and an upstairs. Upon coming in staff greeted us and informed us of the going-Ons upstairs. There were 3 bartenders all of whom were very nice. Lots of seating and small music and dancing area. The food was self-serve, buffet style, catered La Cabana. The salsa and guac were good and was nicely laid out. Cathedral donates much of the earnings made from the use of the space and are also known for their candles which I've received as a gift and can say are nicely scented and benefit causes. So, if you see one in a local shop or otherwise it makes a good gift. Not sure they sell them at this actual location of Cathedral though. If you 're looking to host an event or know someone who wants to, Cathedral has a decent space to be rented out with nice staff who will help manage it.

The space itself is full of character and charm, which meant we didn't have to add much decor. GTB already brings the perfect vibe. Between the ballroom, theater, and patio, we had so many beautiful backdrops for every part of our celebration. The catering was incredible - our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, especially the brisket (which the chef loving tended to into the early morning hours). We also loved that we got to do a tasting beforehand, and the team was wonderful about accommodating dietary restrictions. The bar was just as great! Our specialty cocktail and mocktail were both a big hit. Danielle, the venue manager, was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. Her communication and organization were top-notch, and she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. On the day itself, Danielle and the GTB team were calm, detailed-oriented, and took care of everything behind the scenes so we could enjoy our wedding without stress. The in-house florist created stunning arrangements, which made things that much easier for us. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. GTB is very LGBTQ-affirming, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. We're still getting compliments from guests about how beautiful and effortless everything felt. Georgetown Ballroom truly gave us the wedding of our dreams.
