I rented this venue for my son's first birthday celebration and I have nothing but great things to say about it! Although the price was a bit higher than other venues in the area, I'm glad I chose it. The event space is nice, spacious, and clean. The parking lot accommodates about 40 cars, with additional street parking available. I didn't end up using the kitchen, but it was large and even had an ice maker. There were plenty of tables and chairs provided, which made setup much easier. I toured both the Kent and Renton halls with Dustin, one of the managers, and he was very professional. Kyle, the other manager, was also great - he responded quickly to my texts both the day before and the day of the celebration. The hall is wonderful. Spacious, very clean and well organized. Dustin was exceptional to work with in the rental process, made it all very easy. What a wonderful venue to say the least! My mother pass mid December and my family wanted to have an after funeral reception for guest to pay one last tribute to my mother with food and drinks. Searched all over Renton, Kent and Auburn areas and happened to stumble across this gem. Kyle, the Rental Manager was very quick to respond and accommodate our needs. The venue got everything you need from: chairs, tables, full kitchen, ice machine and plenty of parking. Everything went smoothly from the set up to the clean up. We rented the Kent Masonic hall for our baby shower earlier this month and it was an unforgettable experience! From communication to cleanliness it was perfect. Kyle is very fast at responding and answered all my questions! He provided a ton of information! The hall has everything stocked from dish soap and sponges ready for cleaning dishes to a ton of stove tops and ovens. Even 2 large refrigerators and 1 freezer. Please keep in mind that you have to bring your own cookware and cooking ingredients. We brought our own Clorox wipes since they do not provide these but they do have liquid bleach. They also have an ice maker which came in handy! The bathrooms were stocked with hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Tables and chairs are provided. Liquor is allowed on the premises with an event liability insurance purchase (you can use the one on their site). The hall can fit 150 sitting and about 175 standing. They have a designated smoking area with a proper way to dispose of the cigarette butts which was cool! I definitely recommend booking this hall for your event. We just hosted my granddaughter's first birthday here for family and friends and it was the perfect size venue. The hardwood floors and exposed beams in the ceiling gives it a rustic feel. We loved the light from the windows. The instruction for the rental were very clear and there were additional signage in case we had any questions. The kitchen area is great with enough burners and oven space to cook. There was ample counter space for prep work as well. The chairs and tables were in great condition. Kyle was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. My only request would be to have the two rows of lights and the spot lights opposite of the kitchen on their own switches so you can turn them off without affecting the rest of the room lights. Overall, the venue is perfect for small-ish parties of up to 150 people and very affordable. We'll definitely rent again and refer our friends. read more

We just had our wedding here last weekend (3.16.19) and the whole process was great. From the beginning Kyle was very responsive, but after that I worked mostly with Carrie. Throughout the wedding planning, I went to the Thursday open house almost every week especially when it got closer to the wedding and Carrie was so patient with me when I came in to figure out decorations and turning the lights off and I'm constantly. And even within the year, they made small improvements here and there and it made all the difference :) We ended up getting the deluxe wedding package that included the ceremony hall and reception area for 2 days. That really helped with the setting up of everything. It turned out great and it really created the ambiance we were going for. In the end my clean up crew I assigned didn't do the greatest job cleaning up so we lost some of our deposit bc of that, but nothing that Kyle or Carrie did. They were upfront and sent pictures of what mess we left. I do regret taking pictures when we got there which Carrie told me to do but I was so busy I forgot to. read more

On Saturday 3/23/2024 My wife and I rented Kent Masonic Hall for our daughters 1st birthday. We as well as our guest had a memorable and unforgettable experience. Dustin the Hall Manager was very professional in working with us. The Hall it self is very nice and had everything we needed to make our daughters 1st birthday successful. The kitchen is big with a 12 burner stove, two commercial refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen had a very large island for all your food preparation and three stage wash basin to wash all your cookware and dishes. The Hall was clean and well kept. Ample parking for all your guest. The Hall basically had everything you need at your disposal. From tables to chair to seat 150 guest. Renters liability insurance was amazingly affordable. We rented this hall for our sons 1st birthday. I'm so pleased with multiple aspects of this venue. 1- location, easy to get to and lots of parking 2- the large chefs kitchen, easy for catering to access and utilize 3- cleanliness of the venue, very well kept, you can tell they take pride in the ownership of this place 4- lighting and aesthetic, this place is visually appealing 5- abundance of tables and chairs- easily seat 150ish folks There are a few reasons why someone may not consider. 1- Price does not include cleaning, each individual is required to clean the venue thoroughly in order to receive their security deposit back in full 2- Overall price is a little high, but the venue is gorgeous, centrally located, and the owners are super nice and make the process easy. As long as prices don't go up, I truly think its fair. This is a ideal spot for Kent, I highly recommend renting for your next event! We just hosted our baby shower here recently and the space was perfect. It can book up fast so I'd recommend reserving it right away to guarantee your date. I waited to do so and the date I wanted wasn't available anymore. Although it was on a Friday, it still turned out just great. A lot of guests couldn't make it due to Covid or being exposed to someone so I was glad the Friday slot was inexpensive compared to my first choices of Saturday or Sunday. It's a do it yourself and self service kind of place and a bit more work but the prices are relatively lower compared to many places we looked at and of course the biggest bonus is that there's parking at the venue (which was important to us). Sometimes they take a little longer than 24 hours to respond but other than that, communication was great in answering all my questions and concerns. read more

We reserved the venue back in June and the fact that you're able to make payments prior to the event makes things so much easier, especially when there is other vendors you have to pay deposits for ahead of time. We had our daughter's 15th birthday party and we could not be more pleased with the communication and service provided by Kyle. We originally had planned to host the event for 120 people but about 90 showed. Everyone had nothing but good things to say. The venue is the perfect size for a larger party and the kitchen makes everything so much easier if you're catering yourself or someone else is providing their services. The large refrigerators, freezer and ice maker machine were such a life safer. We didn't have to worry about the drinks not been cold or use extra coolers from home which gave us extra space in the kitchen. I was in need of a venue for my partners 30th birthday surprise party. I looked everywhere from seattle to Tacoma that could fit my Budget and host the amount of guests. I came across seattle banquet halls and everything was so easy to navigate on the website. From requesting the date, making the deposit, meeting with Carrie to see the venue to Kyle texting me the day of with venue information. Communication was effortless and expectations were laid out in order to get your deposit back. The customer service is amazing at this venue. I had booked the venue back in I think November or December of 2019 and was supposed to have my wedding early September of this year with the Deluxe Wedding Package for such a reasonable price as it includes a Friday for setup and rehearsals and the entire Saturday for the event along with a bridal suite. They also recently remodeled and it's even more gorgeous than what's on their website (go on their Facebook to see). Unfortunately due to the circumstances of the world (COVID-19 for those reading after 2020 lol) and the restrictions in King County, we had to cancel the wedding here. Despite that, I will still strongly recommend this venue to anyone! The people are great, the pricing is great, and the venue is great! Loved this venue! I had my wedding reception/party last weekend and. I'm sooooo glad I went with the hall. Parking is limited but not really there is plenty of residential. Place was very clean and ready to go when I got there. Kitchen and ceremony room were a plus because it made for more dinner seating space in the window room. I would suggest deluxe package. No better deal out there! I got the whole place for 2 full days! And our fun wasnt limited to end early you get it til 2am!!! They people you book with, awesome. They answer so quickly and resolved any issues I though I had. It was easy to get my full depo6back as well. I also liked how staff wasnt up my behind about everything. Some places had too many rules as far and food and booze. I liked how easy this was to deal with. I cannot say enough good things! read more

We had a great experience working with Kyle to book a really special Halloween Wedding reception for our daughter. We did this all remotely as we live in Southern California and she lives in Kent! They had just redone the floor and it was beautiful. The place was spotless and we left it spotless after. They provided all the chairs and tables. The kitchen was older but fully functional with a large frig and freezer. The building is small but our party was for 50+ with a DJ and a great local Caterer. Kyle was very responsive and helped us make this a really special day. The main dining room is great size and lets you use your imagination. We highly recommend it!! read more

We held a cast party here for our school PTA drama program a few weeks ago. While the outside may look a little dated this is a great spot for a school function/party/meeting. The best part ? How easy the venue manager, Kyle, was to work with. I was able to do most of the booking via email and Kyle typically responded within the hour. The room was decent sized and we were able to arrange the tables and chairs how we wanted them. We wanted to give ourselves a bit of room for kids to sing and dance and were able to do just that and have room for everyone to sit down and eat. We were able to put decor on the walls which many venues don't allow and although not the most modern they've made some great improvements and this turned out to be a great spot for 40+ kids and their parents to celebrate! read more

This place is an amazing value!! My wife and I had a small budget for our wedding but like all people still wanted it to be nice. The Kent Masonic hall has 2 spaces at one place. We were able to have our wedding in one room and the reception in the other. The rental includes tables and chairs for capacity!! We were allowed in early to set up and working with Kyle really keeps it stress free. Between the great rates for both rooms, NOT having to rent tables and chairs, and having a full kitchen with commercial appliances to do most our own cooking we were able to spend more of our budget on other important aspects of our wedding.
