The place appears clean. I had an appointment scheduled and it was honored. As a first timer here I didnt specify a nail tech but I should have. I dealt with the eldest lady there and its safe to assume she doesnt do nail work often. Nails were barely filed, I still feel my feet need to be cleaned of cuticles and my nail paint polish was red. Mistakes with such a color show very clearly. I spent half the time on the chair with her brushing acetone. By the time my feet were "done", there was pink residue around each toe from all the acetone corrections. Cuticles were still being cut AFTER polish application. I was frustrated. My hands were not any better. I wont be returning. read more

Came here for the very first time today and got a gel manicure ($35) and a basic pedicure ($33). From start to end, the experience was good and amicable. I called to inquire about pricing, appointment availability, and payment methods. The person on the phone was very friendly and answered all of my questions, and set me up for my appointment. Once I got there, I was told to select a color from the wall and was seen immediately by Angelica. She was very friendly and brought my vision for my nails to life. The environment was very inviting and bright. I'm not sure if they were a bit slow due to it being a weekday but it was quiet while I was there, which I enjoyed. I have been going there for a long time never had an issue but today I did with the eyebrow tech, not only did she not know how to clean them but had an attitude when asked to see if she could fix them that something was off. Spoke to the manager and got nowhere. I'm a day from traveling out of the country now I have to find another place to fix her errors. I have never seen her there but her name is something like Mel . All I can say she is probably new, young and major attitude no customer service at all!!! Very disappointing I have always like that place. I made a 1pm appointment online and showed up almost an hour early. I was seated immediately and treated very nicely. My nails were trimmed, cleaned, buffed and polished. Approximately 25 mins later I walked out with gloriously shiny nails. The location has several tables and chairs set up and when I arrived there were only two other customers. If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. I got charged extra to get dry skin scrubbed off of my feet and wasn't told about it. The pedicure had absolutely no massage. She poured oil on my legs and squeezed my big toe. My mother in law didn't even receive oil on her legs. I had to ask to have Polish removed off of my skin. When I brought all of this up to the Gentleman's attention who was ringing me up he just said "She says she told you"and when I said "she absolutely didn't tell me" he said "Thank You" WTF!!!! This place used to be good but now I will not be going back for a few reasons. 1. Nail technicians too noisy and chatting loudly while clients are trying to relax and enjoy their treatment. Especially now there are 3 male technicians. 2. Music not suitable to relaxing environment. 3. No dress code, technicians looks sloppy and wear anything from crocs to Xmas t-shirts 4. Reception couch needs replacing, big spill mark of something on it. 5. The smell of acetone when you walk in is overpowering and cannot be good for your health. I end up leaving with a headache. I had an appointment that I made online the day before. I received a message the day of the appointment that my 11am appointment had canceled because the salon did not have anyone available to do a dip manicure with soak off. Approximately 10 minutes later, they called me back and said someone was available but at 11:15. I arrived on time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Salon itself was not very orderly and didn't seem to be very clean. But when the nail technician was doing the dip manicure I questioned her application process because she added a clear coat after the dip and told me to dry the nails using the small fan on the table. I've been doing dip manicures for years and it seemed like she didn't know how to finish the process. There was no curing process and when I left , my nails were still tacky feeling but I didn't have any time to go back to address the problem. 2 days later, my nails were peeling off the top coat. I sent them pictures and expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction. I was told that the service was non refundable and told I could return to have my nails redone. I didn't have the time to do so and felt uncomfortable returning to this establishment. I asked for a refund again and was told no. I do not recommend this salon. read more

This was my first pedicure since the pandemic, I'd been keeping up with my feet at home. I decided to treat myself today because I'm 33 weeks pregnant and cannot reach my feet anymore. I have never felt less welcome, like my business was less appreciated, from the moment I came in. I made an appointment using their online system for whomever was available. They make you add a card online, I later found out at the end of the appointment that they can't use the card you register through their online system. Just as an FYI. The nail tech was sped through my pedicure as though they hated doing it and hated me for coming in for the service. It was the least relaxing experience I've ever had. I attempted to ask the nail tech about the pervasive cigarette smell, but there was a language barrier. That's ok, but man was this an unpleasant pedicure that ensued. They ripped my toenail and only glued it back together when I asked about what happened (I didn't have my glasses on, so I felt but didn't see what had happened). I tried to ask something about nail shape, and the issue in question was grossly overcorrected. There are two stars because the polish job is acceptable. Otherwise, my feet are still rough, still have product between my toes, and I won't be coming here again. I actually didn't tip. I think I've only ever done that once before. My husband and I went yesterday for two pedicures and a nexgen. Worst pedicure we have ever gotten if I had to guess it took about ten minutes and they were done. My husband had to ask if she cleaned his cuticles after he said that she went back and cleaned them. He got his ears waxed there was wax still in his ears and on his pants. My nails are awful looks like I need a fill one is starting to pop off already. When i mentioned this at the front desk they just said sorry and gave us two $5.00 off coupons on your next visit. When if you look them up it says first time customer you get the $5.00 off your first visit. We were told they don't do that anymore so here is a idea update your website. The guy who did my toes did not tell me that my big toe was chipping and it completely ripped off when I got back home. Charged me $50 for this service this is horrible!! I requested a refund and they denied me said they could fix it. You can't fix a toe nail that is down to the skin unless you put a fake nail on it and I refuse to do that!!! They did not even scrub my feet correctly either I still have a lot of dead skin!! Miss Ana was wonderful though she did my finger nails and I love them!!! read more

Found Himalayan on google- had the best reviews in the area and I wasn't at all blown away. To not make this review hella long: it was rushed, after waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time my nail tech rushed my service. So they don't look ideal. This place was incredibly overpriced. $73 for a pedicure & set of gel nails. I used to get the same manicure at the old place I went to for $25. They charged extra for every little detail of the nails, including the shape. The nail tech was incredibly forceful & rude, & hurt my fingers multiple times. The girl who did my toes seemed sweet, but I had trouble communicating with her as she didn't speak any English. The process for both nails & toes took over 2 hours, with virtually no one else in the salon. An ad on their Facebook said $3 pedicures every Tuesday. When I asked about that upon being charged so much more, the man laughed & said what they meant was they donate $3 per pedicure to "...you know, charity." He couldn't even tell me which charities. I like my nails & toes--they did do well--but not $73 well. read more
