I moved to Wellington over 10 years ago. Since then, I have been to so many nail salons without appointments because my schedule is difficult and, honestly, I can be the worst customer because I'm scared of the drill. I had never truly been happy with a salon until I started going to IPlanet. They always took me immediately and accommodated all my crazy issues with kindness and patience. As of today, I actually make reservations with them and specifically with my favorite girls, Kimmie and One. However, when they are not available, everyone there is fantastic. The owners, Nicole and Andy, are amazing. They make me feel like family, and so does the entire team. They treat everyone I bring with the same love and care -- especially my mom, who has dementia. My nails are soft. As a consequence, they require layers of clear hard gel for increased stability. I failed to relay this concern at my very first visit, and my manicure lasted just over 2 weeks. But, at my second appointment, I clarified the problem. After quickly adding extensions to the broken nails, the tech compensated with layers of hard gel, increasing the strength of my nails. After polishing and shaping, they were perfect. A couple of layers of my chosen gel polish, and my nails looked and felt as good as my best days. The tech was professional and fast. She explained her steps along the way and was in all ways excellent. The salon is spacious and friendly. Quiet music, some soft chatter. Reasonably priced. Open 7 days a week. I went to IPlanet Nails & Lashes for a manicure on a Sunday afternoon. I had virtually no wait. This was my second time here as I was in from out of town. Interestingly, the only other time I had been here was in March, 2025 and I believe the same girl did my nails. She gave me a nice manicure. She wished me a "Happy Thanksgiving" (Thanksgiving is this Thursday). The lady at the register was friendly. The price was affordable. Overall, pleasant experience. read more

The nails didn't turn out the way u would like it at all. I personally I didn't like the service and the tiny details with it like cleaning of the file shavings. Also the shaping of the nails were terrible.I felt like I could have done than my self and I payed for my nails to look good which they didn't. read more

I liked the pedicure I got and the tech was nice. However, the entire time they had some sort of Vietnamese music playing. It was a little unnerving to be honest. This salon is busy and now I know why... They are one big family, the way they treat the customers and the employees is amazing. The techs are all professional and talented. One of the best mani/pedis I have ever had, and I have had many. The manager Andy was very good, he watched every aspect of the room. The receptionist from Honduras was very friendly and sweet. I have been with Linnie for 2 years now. I love her and her work, even when she goes to try a design for the first time she NAILS it . Her service and quality is always a 10/10. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and I've yet to have a nail break on me. Shes very social every time i come in we have full blown conversations about anything which I love about her. So after trying this place for a number of months I will not be returning . If you want poor service and an unfriendly experience give this place a try . There's a girl there "Ashley" who is mean and moody. Her game is rarely on and when she's in a foul mood she will hurt you with the drill. My last visit she was pressing very hard to drill Off my gel and it was burning me and felt like she was almost through my natural nail. If you want mediocre service, this is the place for you. Technicians pouring dirty manicure water into the pedicure foot sink immediately turned me off. Is it really too difficult to head over to the sink where the germs should be wasted? Don't bother showing them a photo of what you'd like done, because it will not be a perfect mimic. Most of these technicians do not speak English, but will pretend they're understanding you as you speak a concern. So in the end, it's a huge dis-communication for the entire experience. I knew someone who worked here and gave the spa a ton of personality as well as impeccable organization as the front face. This person was unfortunately, and unprofessionally let go by the owner through a text message after 1 year of employment. Need I say more? read more

Came in for a pedicure and was greeted by the staff very friendly. I told my technician that I had a few small chips in my gel manicure from last week. The manager MiMi was immediately involved and redid my whole set now matching my pedicure for free. My tech hated being there. It started with my pedi.. she never spoke directly to me.. no hello no nothing. I am not chatty and like to relax but a greeting is nice. She hated being there. She literally said to another she was going to call her 3pm to see if she was coming so she could leave. My friend and I both looked at each other because we couldn't believe she was saying that. She was upset because I could not hold my foot up while she did the brushing - first, she didn't ask until after she was upset, 2nd - it's my bad leg and i don't have alot of strength. I've never had a place ask me, let alone be angry about it. If you don't want to hold - invest in a yoga block. She doesn't look at you when she speaks to you so with a mask on - it's difficult to even know. She had no patience. We moved to the mani and she talked over my question because she wanted to know something before i finished... and she asked if i wanted hot towel or lotion.. I didn't understand - my friend explained. She was already pissed so I stayed with the lotion that was already on. I did a simple mani - pedi ... no gels, simple polish. I feel like she hurried thru and i had the feeling that i don't know what she was supposed to do and didn't. The worse was at the end - she got on her phone - in front of my friend and I and was doing a talk/text where she said - honestly - I hate being here, I wish I could leave. In front of 2 customers. We looked at each other in shock. Her attitude was horrible and I felt bad for the place she works for that she would represent them like that. The only bright spot was my friend's tech was lovely. Kind, gentle and smiled - from the beginning - not at tip time. She was genuine. So if you do go - I won't - ask for Sunny. I have been having my nails done here for quite some time and I am very happy with the services that I have received (pedicure and dip manicure). I tend to like manicures that are multi-color or have nail art and I've never been disappointed. The owner is very personable and is very attentive to the clients. Also, the salon is kept very clean and I especially like the disposable liners that are used in the pedicure sinks. read more
