Every activity on this place is really poorly run and takes forever. A few of the attendants mean well but others are slow and they don't have any control on how the activities and rides are designed. The equipment isn't enough for the amount of people waiting to try them. The company has focused more on arcade games than anything else. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you like waiting 30-45 minutes to jump 2-5 minutes on a trampoline or do a water car ride or whatever other poorly managed activity. read more

The staff made fun of a girl because of her skin condition and they did it infront of us other customers loudly and also loudly enough for her to hear. Ik that had to really embarrasses and hurt that girl it hurt for me. Always a good time with the fam. We hadn't visited in several years, so we took our teens mini golfing. While it was HOT, the shady course was a nice reprieve. Could use some new turf in places and a new shipment of tall clubs since the tips on most were bad, but I was happy to see it was otherwise still as well kept as when hubs and I were dating in the late 90s. (Yet different enough to be new to us too.) Hinkle continues to offer a competitively priced good time for families, and in this day and age, that makes me extra happy. I took me, my wife, and my 2 kids here the other day and they all loved it good prices and the employees were amazing for the most part. We mostly spent our time playing mini golf, bumper carts, and in the arcade. In the arcade area there should be a more selection of games but after we finished and wanted to collect our prizes an employee named "bean" was so helpful at the prize counter made my kids so happy and excited to be there and was so patient with them.(he also helped find my older sons AirPod case). I went with family as a group of 13, ages ranging from 3-70. Everyone had a great time!! Some did the pick three attractions and others did unlimited. I don't think we have all laughed together and had that much fun together ever! Every age range had a wonderful time! We stayed from 12-5 and were busy the whole time! Waits weren't bad and the staff were all young and very nice! The only opportunity I would say is food/coffee options! I could've used a hot Starbucks coffee with all that craziness and the food is nothing to write home about. Those that could eat gluten said the pizza was good. Fries better than nachos and they give the smallest amount of popcorn. You don't go for the food though! The attractions were worth going... just allow outdoor food/drink... that would make it so much better! read more

This was the spot to go to back in 1994 when it first opened up. It was absolutely magical and I remember how exciting it was each time I played games here as a kid. The Hinkle family fun center offers that same magic to this day. Well they are no longer using tokens and have moved over to the electronic game card, they still have some of the classics that I remember playing growing up. We had such a fun time exploring their new options for games while enjoying some of the classics. I was even able to bring my daughter here so that she could play the games that I grew up playing. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR COUPONS!!!I got sent a free birthday pass for my son's birthday.We went to redeem it and the link was broken. Instead of them honoring it or try to make it right, Adam (could barely understand him because he was out of breath the whole time) turned us away and blamed it on the company who sends the emails and my email. He was extremely unhelpful, unwilling, and unprofessional. After he rudely left a card with the marketing managers email, he walked away and then after just walked back and forth from the kitchen to the prize area not helping any of the workers even though there were long lines and people complaining of games not working. I've only come for mini golf and they have a 7.99 or something like that deal for single event all you want to play deal, which is a great deal! Both the Lake and the river playing courses are fun. I like the river the best it has fun spin wheels with challenges like closing your eyes for the first putt, switch your ball with any other player etc. give it a little more excitement! Weekends are busy so expect to wait a little for your turn. Overall thought is a fun place to go and great for kids. Or date night! I recommend for sure! read more

Enjoyed the day date with my daughter. Course was a putt putt course. Nothing spectacular but can tell the community plays their. We were there at opening so several things were getting going. The water was pretty foamy so wasn't the best image. Also the lead on the cart track told me that the dual seaters were for only two people but then put a single person in a cart. I understood why, their single rider cart wouldn't go, but don't say it is an absolute and then do the thing you told me you can't. They were telling me to put my foot on the brake but the small carts were cramping my hips. A larger cart allows for a little more room. I'm not obese just tall. read more

If you're looking for a great family day, I suggest this place. They have all kinds of stuff to do, we loved the mini golf. They also have an arcade, that was my son's favorite, there's a ton more stuff to do. The prices aren't very bad either. The employees are very nice and sweet, there was one guy, I didn't catch his name, but he went above and beyond to make sure my son was able to do some of the attractions that were there, he had surgery and couldn't do most of the attractions, because he can't run or get bumped right now read more

My buddy and I wanted to see the movie "Parasite" that was showing only at the Regal over on tramway next to Hinkle. We had about an hour to kill and nothing really much to do so we figured we'd stay warm by taking a visit to good Ol Hinkle Family Fun Center. Walking in we found ourselves surrounded by the tons of games in the arcade. I was rather impressed by the large selection of prizes. I have to say it's very easy to spend a large wad of cash here. There are so many entertainment options. Luckily they offer unlimited passes for reasonable rates. The place is well maintained and respectively clean. I recommend the miniature golf, you'll have a good amount of fun there especially if you came with your crew. The lazer tag is a nice large arena that utilizes the glow from black lights. They also offer a go kart racing track that is a whole lotta fun. The bumper boats are a nice touch as well. I recently heard they offered a 7D attraction. I wasn't sure exactly where it was but on my next visit I do wanna try it out. Oh also Nickel city is their other arcade that offers more older and cheaper arcade machines and a similar bunch of prizes. Definitely fun for the whole family. read more

And we felt that the premises were extremely clean, and there was a lot of different games to choose from.The reason why we rated so low is because we felt that every time we turn around we were nickel and dimed for every thing. Hello, So it started with the go karts, it was the first attraction we went on and the whole reason we got the ultimate pass so we could take the kids multiple times. My daughter was clearly tall enough to be a passenger as she is taller than my three year old who was a passenger and the she was standing at the measuring thing, the attendant was not being very nice when speaking with her to measure her. He made a rude comment to her. He was wearing a yellow shirt and had longish curly hair. He was not friendly at all.  After that we decided to try the bumper boats- I got on with my son since he wasn't tall enough to drive, we were the only ones on and pretty quickly into the ride he had to pee so we needed to get off, I told the attendant that We'd like to get off and he rolled his eyes and was annoyed that we needed off. Instead, of letting me help him he grabbed my sons arm which cause him to fall out of the bumper boat onto the concrete almost in the water.  After that we walked down to the laser tag building and did not utilize out pass again at the top portion, as everyone was rude and I did not want to go up there again, we did not get to play golf, rock wall or do the go karts again. I really couldn't believe it as hinkle used to be one of our favorite places. The manager down at the Laser tag building said I could get a refund for the passes but she did not have the capability to do so.  Let me know what information you need to refund our card. read more

Hinkle family fun center is open ... I believe there are two hours sessions with a limited amount of people per group. This is in accordance with fire Marshall safety covid regulations. Plenty of time also to have a round in mini golf, go carts, bumper boats, bungee jumping and of course the Rock climbing wall. Here now with two 11 year old boys; they are in Heaven!! They have gone on the go carts a million times, water bumper boats, an hour of arcade games, VR games, indoor bumper cars, and laser tag. My only wish was that there was a comfy grandma zone! It's not cheap- $100 for two kids, for an attractions pass and arcade games. But we have been here 4 1/2 hours and they are going strong. They love that they can do the things they like over and over. I am sure we'll be back. read more

Hinkle is one of the places my family and I enjoy doing together. It's affordable, which we love. In the summer we like the putt-putt golf area. Just now, we ended up at the race track! That's always a fun time. My children have enjoyed a few birthdays there in the private eating area. It's a family owned place that is better (in my opinion) than the other chain children's activity places. The food menu could use a re-do, which is why it's only getting 3 stars. Also, depending on the staff, you could be dealing with some grumpy teens but overall, it's a great place! read more

For $40 a person you get an unlimited band to do go carts, bumper boats, rock wall, bungee trampoline, laser tag, xd dark ride and a few other things but they were down so we didn't get to enjoy them. That is the only reason I gave a 4. The staff there are incredible. I believe they have a great team. I enjoyed them so much I made sure I shared that with a lead. I would say if by through, visiting or get stranded (like I did) I would say go and enjoy you day with them. read more

9/6/2019. I took my son and two of his friends on a Friday evening to blow off some steam after their first two weeks back in school. One of the boys moms had free passes for five of the "attractions". Let me first say, I hate free passes. It almost always seems like something is wrong with them: they're not good on the day of the week you're there, or the time of day, or you have to meet some sort of odd conditions to use them. Not so the night we were there. Because we had multiple free passes, manager approval was required. Both the young lady at the counter and the manager were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. In fact all the young people working that night were friendly and accommodating. They all really appeared to be enjoying what they were doing. Based on this experience I will have no reservations at all about taking the kids back. They really enjoyed the time we spent at Hinkle. read more

Great fun! Good value! I've been here a few times. This time, I found out there is a whole level below the lazar tag arena. The first floor has bumper cars and an arcade. The bumper cars are SO fun! They are round and so much more fun than amusement park bumper cars. We purchased the 2 hour pass. In that two hours we complete bumper cars, bumper boats, go carts, lazar tag and a round of mini golf to cap of the day of fun. Even though it was very busy, we were still able to get our monies worth in that two hours. Tip...save the mini golf for last, as long as you have a few minutes left on your pass, you can finish the golf outside your pass time. Saturday is very busy, we will probably try to go on a. This is a great place to have fun and for great birthdays. My best friend had his birthday here and we got the pack where we have the 10:00:00 pass. It was a blast and we went on everything. the staff where great and very helpful. The only problem is the food. The food is not the best. And the arcade games are at ridiculous prices. Is we where at the second building with laser tag and we went to the arcade and the claw machine game that had a win every time was 100 credits. I felt like that was ridiculous. This was not the first time in nickel city arcade, how ever it will be the last. Walking in two employees were at the front desk. As always we ask about arcade cards and filling them. One of the gentlemen at the front desk flippantly let us know we were to go downstairs to get cards, which as far as we knew was unusual since it had been nearly a year since we'd been to the arcade last. Downstairs we attempted the kiosk, it seemed quite simple enough. Little had we known however was that their internet had been losing signal all day. So, the kiosk charged me but the transaction did not make it all the way through, so we did not get our game card or a receipt. Infact they had no record of any transaction. Had I known that the internet was on the fritz I'd have asked for additional help upstairs, had they actually been helpful and not so completely condescending perhaps the entire situation could have been avoided. We'd probably still be there having fun and spending more money. Oh also, customer service actually requires for your employees to be present, not hiding, not in the managers office, not sitting in the lobby on their phone face timing their friends regardless of break time. Putt putt was a lot of fun here. You can either do 18 holes or 36 holes. They do change their courses frequently. They also have the coupon on their website, you only have to pay for one person and two people can play. Only thing is some ppl don't know their putt putt manner and just linger at the course ahead of you for about an hour before moving on. You're only supposed to have 4 ppl max on each group, and when you're there, you're supposed to spend time and interact with each other! NOT ON THE FREAKING PHONE AND TEXTING AND HOLD EVERYONE BEHIND YOU BACK! Some of the courses are rather challenging, given that I ain't that good. Each of these courses are normally par 2, I was 2 par over on some of them and some of them I just picked up the ball and dropped it in lol. Now this review is only for the mini golf-putt putt. In order to really portray this on point, I gotta crawl into my cranial hard drive for a second, and dig up memories of going on family trips to boring campgrounds when I was little. Not all campgrounds totally blew, but some of them did, and when that happened my parents had, maybe, one day of good behavior from my sis and me, before we would be like Dad, this place Sucks, can we like... go Do something? And that's when we'd hop in the car and head to the nearest big small town and hopefully find a Hinkle Family Fun Center. If we were lucky enough to hit the Go Kart jackpot, man, that was the Best Camping Trip Ever. Hinkle is that kiddo wonderland on the side of the small town road, except bigger, with great Go Karts, a well-maintained and almost too frustrating 36-hole mini golf course, and then all of the other stuff you do after that, like bumper boats and games. I do have to state that, as a parent, I'm kinda done with the ordeal that is watching your kid win tickets for an hour and letting 'em pick out some schlocky plastic prize, but whatever, my kid likes it. But you should try to hit Hinkle on a beautiful day so to enjoy the outdoors of this facility; I've never felt like checking out the Lazer Tag course, but I hear it's a good time. The adult in me says it's time to elevate a couple key metrics: food and drink. If Hinkle offered something worth swallowing, I'd probably consider driving across town more often. But I'm happy with the current version, it's a good time during a lame camping trip. read more

Took our family here during our vacation. They offer many different activities and my kids were busy the entire time. Not once did I hear "I'm bored". I decided to take my son to Hinkle's today so my husband could get some rest before he had to go to work tonight (May 28th), we had a blast until... we were riding the Go-Karts and I passed a couple of teenage girls and one of them flipped me off, "no big deal" I thought, but I was wrong! When it came to an end, I was at a complete stop, waiting to park my kart, when one of the girls rammed the back of of my kart at full speed, causing my head to slam forward and then backwards (a couple of times), causing a major bump to the back of my head, a headache and some nausea. I got out of my cart (almost in tears) feeling sick. One of the ride attendants took me into the game room, got me a bag of ice for my head and got a manager so I could file an "incident report". I really didn't want to file one but was informed that I needed to, so I did. They took my son and I to the "party room" and my son and I were telling the manager what happened when my son saw the girl outside the "party room" and told the manager "See that girl sitting over there? She's the one who hurt my mom!". Instead of listening to my son and going to talk to the young lady, he continued to ask me questions (name, address, phone number, how was I feeling, etc.) and then just left. We then went down to the lower level (me holding a bag of ice to the back of my head) and I asked to speak with Issiah (a manager at that section) and I told him what happened and asked if it was normal for a manager to NOT speak to the person that hurt me (I have known Issiah for years) and he freaked out! I guess it is not normal to go speak with the person who hurt you after the person is pointed out. Long story short... when REB and I got home, I called the nurse hotline and a registered nurse called me back... slight concussion and whiplash! I now have to set my alarm for every four hours, wake my son up and see if my speech and balance is okay and, if not, off to the ER I go! #HinkleFunCenter #HinkleFamilyFunCenter. This happened on May 28th and I sent an email to the general manager (Colleen) about what happened and she sent me an email back that she was sending it to their insurance company... denied! Even though it happened on Hinkle property, on one of their rides, denied. I emailed Colleen back, letting her know what her insurance had said and let her know that all I wanted was compensation for the day passes and for the days I missed from work. I was basically told to go through a personal injury lawyer (which would go through their insurance company, which was already turned down) or to bite it! Don't go there!!! read more
