If I was able to give 0 stars I would. I am not even one to write reviews good, bad or indifferent…read more I reached out Bethany today 7/29/26 for alterations on a bridesmaids dress. We made an appointment rather quickly and she was close to my home. I had alterations done one time ever in my life and had no clue what reasonable pricing was. She quoted me $205 for a hem/steaming And adding a clasp: After I left I felt it was too much. I asked around and even talked to another highly recommended seamstress All of this within 30 minutes of me leaving her. I messaged her told her my concerns and she offered to lower the price by removing things I needed done. I explained I would never ask a business to adjust their pricing for me I would just like to go elsewhere. She lowered it to $160 but I lost the clasp and she wouldn't adjust the sash. I reluctantly said ok but afterwards I decided to cancel all together and collect my deposit back. Once I asked for my deposit she then told me deposits are not refundable and that the alterations were this price because of the rush. I needed to have back in 3 weeks. I explained none of this was explained before I raised concerns and you cannot just add policies as you go. Ready for where it got really bad?!? Buckle up! She had her husband of speaker phone talking to her indirectly about me. Saying that I am a terrible person that she needs to give me my money back and get me out of there. ( please give me my money so I can leave) He kept repeating that I was troubled and saying I feel really bad for her (me) and that she is a terrible person. Then proceeded to say that I was desperate for money that I needed my $100 back. Keep in mind she had my dress for less than an hour. He seems like a narcissist to be quite honest but I'm not a therapist! finally time to get my dollars back, the $105 I handed her in cash. AGAIN less than an hour before I was verbally abused by her husband on speaker phone.. She told me she had to Venmo me because she did not have it. Ma'am what even happen in that hour you don't have my cash. Asked me to come back in an hour and I said absolutely not... Venmo and don't even try to dispute it. I can't speak on her actual work but customer service 0/10 do not recommend. she will have her husband verbally abuse you.

I found Michelle Rene through a friend and had her not only had her help me design a look for my…read morebridal shower, but also redesigned my rehearsal dinner skirt and my wedding dress alterations. In our final fitting, my mother and MOH looked at each other, completely overwhelmed of how to help me into my dress on the big day, and with five days before the wedding, my mom asked to hire her as our day-of concierge/assistant, and Michelle dropped everything to help! With an affordable price for her service, her presence was not only outstanding, it was invaluable. We didn't realize how much we needed her until the big day came. While myself as the bride was pretty cool as a cucumber, my mother was (for lack of a better word), a hot mess. Michelle not only took care of my needs (and thought of everything), but made sure my mother was calm, cool, and collected so she could enjoy the final moments of getting ready. Michelle came fully equipped with an arsenal of tools, a steamer, and such an amazing personality. She thought of all the small details, assisted the photographers and fluffed my dress as needed. She was prompt, friendly, helpful, kind, understanding, and all the things. Her alterations were stunning and I felt so comfortable and like a queen on my big day. She was there for all the moments and all the details, ensuring the ladies and men were properly ready to walk down the aisle and party at the reception. She is a dear person that felt like family that day. Would recommend her and will go back for other wardrobe design needs.

They have wonderful customer service (truly, everyone here is very kind) and very fair prices. I won't risk trying a different place for alterations because because every time I've gone here, the work was wonderful, exactly what I asked for, and done in a timely manner. Somehow their tailor had a mixed message and completely deconstructed then reconstructed the dress in an odd way. The tag is now under the arm instead of the back and there is a seam running up the front. The dress no longer fits and is now worthless. It was brand new and still had the price tag. I took it back to show them and Mrs. Kim became combative insisting that the dress was like that when I brought it to them. I have photos before of the dress and it clearly was different. There is no question that it was mistakenly altered at their shop. She refused to listen and accused me of upsetting them. After 20 plus years of frequenting their shop, I'm shocked at her reaction. I've now also seen similar negative reviews. Extremely disappointing. I am now out $250 for the ruined dress and alterations which they refused to reimburse. I will never go there again.
