Dr. Jen was very thorough and detail oriented in her approach to cleaning and fixing my teeth. At the same time she was very gentle and thoughtful in making sure I was comfortable during my visit. Dr. Jen provided a accurate diagnosis of my issues and a simple plan to resolve them without pressuring me into anything extreme. Have been to this office for more than 3 years. It is a pity what the practice has come down to. I used to do my cleaning there with competent hygienists, doctors used to spend more time explaining my conditions. Unfortunately now, hygienists there are not even skillful enough to perform regular cleaning. They clean your teeth with a paste then send a claim to the insurance asking to be paid for periodontal deep cleaning. I swear to God, I used to have regular cleaning way better than what they call "deep cleaning". They are only interested in your insurance money. I seldom see a doctor now. This review is specifically for laser teeth whitening. If you ever had teeth whitening before (like Zoom), the laser whitening experience here is completely different. Unlike my nightmarish Zoom whitening experience circa the late 00s (white teeth but sensitivity that lasted for days), laser whitening with Laura was about as easy as you could hope for. I experienced no sensitivity whatsoever, and my teeth lightened considerably. Recommend having this done in close proximity to a cleaning for best results. They also take custom imprints of your teeth to give you trays for home whitening. I didn't realize this going in, but it's so much better than those 'one size fits most' trays other providers give you. At $450, this was a great and affordable service. read more

ALL they are concerned about is how much money they can rip off of their patients. They have no respect for their patients. The girl at the front desk is nothing less than a 'itch' with a 'b' before that. Everyone at this dental clinic are nothing but pure liars. They think nothing of having information on their website to attract customers that is simply bs and is nothing but false advertising. So if you have been unlucky enough to have visited this clinic and received an estimate for the work that you want to have done but has an outrageous price, note that this practice think it is acceptable to discriminate against anyone that they don't want to treat. I don't even know where to begin describing how wonderful it has been to work with Dr. Harnois at Hinsdale Dentistry. He was referred to me by my oral surgeon, Dr. Kallal when I asked him who he'd recommend for some cosmetic dental work. When it comes to anything related to my mouth, I sort of got the short end of the stick-- everything from jaw problems that required two surgeries, to what I called "deformed" teeth. My baby teeth came in just fine, but once my adult teeth came in they were shaped abnormally and to make matters worse, they were discolored due to enamel problems. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to have cosmetic work done on my teeth but there were several obstacles in my way, including the need to have surgery on my jaws. Just recently, I was finally able to get the ball rolling with the cosmetic work, and I chose Dr. Harnois. Here's what I love about Dr. Harnois and Hinsdale Dentistry. First, everybody is beyond friendly. They make you feel as though they've known you for a long time. Everybody from the receptionist (Jessica), to Dr. Harnois' assisstant (Sharon), went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable, informed, and happy, and I really appreciated that. Additionally, their office is very modern and inviting! Another aspect I love is that Dr. Harnois does a phenomenal job explaining everything he is going to do and why. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients. He's the type of person that you feel like you can trust, someone who is going to make sure that the work he does is top notch and flawless. More importantly, he ensures that you are happy with the work he's done. He's a perfectionist, which is a great quality to have in a dentist who specializes in cosmetic work. Ultimately, I made the decision to have a product called Lumineers placed and while it's only been two short weeks, I am so happy I took this route. My smile looks natural, but more importantly, it FEELS natural. My teeth don't look bulky, my bite feels no different than prior to having Lumineers placed, and I am getting compliments left and right on how amazing my smile looks. Dr. Harnois took such care, making sure my smile was just right and I really appreciated that. I really could go on and on, but I'll spare you from reading a novel. If you are looking to improve your smile, seriously, go pay a visit to Dr. Harnois. He is the best of the best and I'm certain you'll love him as much as I do. It is one decision you won't regret. They do a wonderful job with general upkeep, but what I loved is that they showed me how to improve my smile. Great cosmetic dentistry with different options for treatment. Like bonding teeth, braces, even a mouth guard to stop damage from grinding. The dentist are also great with young children. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would to Dr. Kowalczyk ! I had a tooth that had to get two crowns in less than 5 years by a different dentist that had left a "crack" and created a space for decay to enter. When I originally went to Hinsdale Dentistry a few years ago they saw the crack but had only "warned" me that this could be a problem. Recently it started hurting and bleeding so I decided it was time to FINALLY have the 3rd and final crown put on. He took so much time to help me get numbed and has the best "bed side manner" that a dentist could have. He even gave me a phone # to text (how convenient) if I had questions. Also Jackie, my hygienist is out of this world!! So sweet and personable. The office staff are super friendly too1 I would HIGHLY recommend everyone at this office. :) read more

My husband and I have been using the services of Hinsdale Dentistry since we moved to the area 2 years ago. In that time, we have had lots of work done, from routine cleaning to tooth extraction to complicated bridge, crown and partial replacement. Our experiences have been excellent! Dr. Harnois and his team (Dr. Kowalczyk, Sara, Donna, Lisa, Stephanie, Kelly - my apologies to those members whose names I either don't know or can't remember) are fantastic. Everyone is caring, technically proficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Harnois is technically superb and has a very comforting, calm, caring, and pleasant demeanor. He recently replaced a bridge, partial and 4 crowns that were all 20 + years old and had outlived their usefulness. This was a very complicated, unusual and ambitious procedure, requiring several visits, each lasting 1 to 3 hours. From the beginning and throughout each visit, Dr. Harnois took the time to explain, in detail, what the plan was and what to expect each step of the way, which made me feel very comfortable. He worked closely with the lab to ensure quality products that fit and worked well together and looked great. His technique for giving the many required shots was excellent, resulting in painless delivery (something that I had never experienced before). His perfectionism, planning, attention to detail, and calm, efficient technical execution turned something that could have been somewhat harrowing into more of a routine, not even unpleasant, dental experience. I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only does everything fit and perform well, my smile has been significantly improved. Sara, our hygienist, also deserves special mention. Her calm and friendly personality along with her technical knowledge and superb technique always make me feel assured that I am getting the best cleaning available (she also is trained in a laser technique which has resulted in much improved gum tissue). Additionally, it's clear that the office is well run with heavy emphasis on communication. Every time that I call the office or interact with anyone on staff, they are always familiar with the status of my current plan (and that of my husband's). That can only be achieved by a concerted effort to communicate by a dedicated and caring staff who consider themselves to be part of a united team.
