Stopped in for a beer and these guys had their truck set-up...always love some Hibachi, usually. A few things...first off I don't know if I ordered right. I ordered the shrimp with noodles and some crab Rangoon...seems like too much but I've been biking, hungry! When I say I don't know if I ordered right it is really because of the lack of flavor...which is strange. The shrimp were great, hot off the flat top, fresh, nice shrimp taste! The rest of the food, bland...except for the noodles that had a burnt oil flavor from the metal flat top...not at all appealing...don't have to worry about eating too much. The Crab Rangoon were bad as well! All fried wonton, no filling...like dime-bag full! Very easy to fold these for some better presentation but I think then it would really accent the fact they were basically empty of fillings. Would not recommend! Always a five star meal from this awesome food truck. I can see why they got Nampa's best food truck. Ben is a stellar chef and a master at his craft! He has blessed the treasure valley with amazing food and service. This food truck makes for a great lunch or dinner. Today's lunch consists of a side of fried rice, side veggies and some appetizers. The fried rice is so good! You can taste the garlic butter that's used to seasoned the rice. It's a great combination of buttery and savory. I love the minced up carrots and onions in the rice, it gives it great texture. The veggies are always cooked to perfection! I love the slight char the vegetables get from the hot grill. The zucchini and broccoli have a slight crunch to them and is not overcooked. The egg rolls were fried to a perfect golden brown. Crunchy and savory. The crab rangoons are my favorite! There's more than just cream cheese in the middle! You can taste the extra goodies in there, crab and green onion. The wrapping to cream cheese ratio is great! Ben is awesome to work with and responds quickly to any of our questions or requests. Their food is five ! Every order is cooked to perfection. My hubby and I enjoyed the Hiroyuki Special and crispy gyozas. We enjoyed the chicken, steak and shrimp along with fried rice, noodles and veggies. It was seasoned perfectly. Ben catered our Christmas work party and it was AMAZING! Having the food and entertainment of a five star hibachi restaurant while at work was such a fun experience. Everyone enjoyed the show just as much as the food. Our meal included 4 gyozas, a hefty serving of veggies, a large bowl of fried rice, and 3 bowls of each chicken, shrimp, and steak. The food was so good I'm taking my bf to the truck so he can enjoy it too. Ben did the classic volcano/train, and catch the shrimp...obviously the highlights. I think this food truck needs some work. We were so disappointed in not only the food but the wait time and the communication. We went to the order window an hour and a half after they opened and they were already sold out of chicken. I don't eat beef or seafood so I was out of luck and just ordered Gyoza. My son ordered the Hibachi shrimp. The time was 5:32 printed on my receipt. The cashier took our money and gave us a pager saying it will go off when our order is ready. Since they had no chicken I went to another place to get food. It was a noodle and veggie stir fry dish. It was ready in 5 minutes. I went back to the food truck having left the pager with my son. Well 5:45 rolls around and nothing. 6:00 comes and goes with nothing. At 6:01 I asked the cook how long for my order? He said "you're in the next batch". What the heck does that mean? Not a clue. At 6:15 still nothing, no sorry it is taking so long, no communication whatsoever. Why had they not given us an idea of how long it was going to take when they took my money so we could decide to go elsewhere? I finally went up again and said "guys how much longer? He said to me just a minute. At 6:19, 4 minutes later my beeper went off. I was so angry at this point. My food and my daughters food from another place was now ice cold. We had waited 47 minutes. 47. We went home and i had to heat up my food in the microwave. Great. My gyoza ordered from the hibachi was overcooked with some burned areas on it. My son's shrimp he said was actually good, however of the 6 pieces, 1 was rubbery and not cooked right. His rice was crunchy and undercooked and the veggies were also undercooked. How about if can't keep up don't take so many orders. Never should have to wait 47 minutes at a food truck. Let customers know if you are going to make them wait this long. Completely ridiculous and will not eat there again. read more

By far the best food truck in our opinion. Steak and shrimp is always cooked to perfection. Chicken is also super good! And don't get met started on the the soba noodles are a family fave! Super disappointed they ran out of food. We do weekly food trucks in our subdivision and the trucks have always had food to cover 3hrs. This week the truck ran out of food after a hour and 30 mins. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time so I can update this review. read more

I visited Hiroyuki Hibachi for the first time on 7/14/21. I ordered one of the most popular dishes, Teriyaki Chicken ($10.99). I paid an additional $2 to substitute fried rice for the steamed rice. I was very excited to finally get the chance to try this food track, which I've been tracking for a couple of weeks, but I was disappointed with the outcome. It would be more appropriate to call this dish Soy Sauce Rice with a small side of chicken. I paid $13 for mostly sub par fried rice, if you can even call it that. The only thing that distinguished my rice from steamed rice was the addition of soy sauce. It bore no resemblance to fried rice. There was no observable little chunks of egg/veggies/meat. Both the vegetable and chicken portions were tiny. The chicken consisted of small bits of over cooked meat in a nondescript sauce. I have never had teriyaki chicken that missed the mark as much as this version did. If it hadn't been listed on the menu as such, I never would have guessed that was what I was eating. The owner/operator will need to step up his game if he wants to survive in the highly competitive Treasure Valley food truck scene. Idaho isn't exactly known for its Asian food, but we have lots of options that are superior to Hiroyuki Hibachi, including other food trucks. read more

First time here last night got the Filet and shrimp with fried rice and filet and shrimp with noodles. It was AMAZING the flavors and sauces (especially the chili sauce) was a great compliment to the food!
