I bought DESIGNER STYLE ID: FQ8243-025 COLOR: PHOTON DUST/KHAKI/LIGHT BONE/PALE IVORY and upon delivery I received shoes that are not just the wrong color but not even part of there inventory. I have gotten in contact with there sales Nicole Webb with the email Nicolew@hirshleifers.com stating, "I can't speak as to what options you have for getting a refund without knowing from where the sneaker originated." Even though I have provided pictures of the box it came, the shoe box itself, and the receipt I have yet to get this issue resolved. Until this problem is resolved I would recommend to be CAUTIOUS of this family owned business because it seems that the ultimate luxury shopping adventure is all just a scam to take your money especially for the holidays. I love the cleanliness and the professionalism at Hirshleifers! I've had my eyes set on a Medium Classic Chanel handbag with gold hardware but it's been tough getting my hands on one. I've left my contact info with Anita and visited the Chanel boutique the day after a restock but only to find out that they have been sold within 24 hours of delivery. On my first trip, I was able to see a Large in Caviar and a Small in Lambskin. On my second trip, I was able to see the Medium in Caviar and in Lambskin but both with silver hardware. The employee let me try on the Small and the Medium to see which I liked more and told me to keep in touch with Anita because the bags come and go. I was glad that I could finally narrow down the type of handbag that I wanted since it is such a big purchase. read more

I've been here more than a handful of times either to look at Chanel, Valentino or YSL bags and shoes of course. All the SA are very friendly and I never once felt uncomfortable or looked down upon. They have a nice selection of everything (designer bags, clothing, shoes & accessories) but they weren't what I was looking for. Sucks that the Chanel ballerina & Espadrille flats run small & narrow and I have wide feet so I could never wear them. I was always into the Chanel WOC in black caviar with gold hardware and just found out recently that they had changed their snap closure (hard to open & close) to the new magnetic closure. My birthday is right around the corner and I want it! They only get in a few every now & then and always gets sold within hours. I've been inquiring about it for a few weeks, the SA took down my number over the phone and said she'll text me whenever they get it in. No luck. I decided to go in the store when they first opened on a Tuesday (1/18). Jane, the most amazing SA took down my number that morning and she called me at noon informing me that they had just got in a shipment and to come now so I drove there immediately. No hold permitted. First come first serve. I got there within 15 minutes, the line was out the door but luckily she let me in through the side door. It was really busy and bags were flying off the shelves, it's crazy! Long story short, it was my lucky day and also my first purchase from here and I absolutely love it! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Located in Americana Manhasset, there is plenty of parking. Overall nice selection of different designers and well displayed. Other than that not much to write home about. Upon entering, you'll immediately notice security by the door like bouncers at a club. And throughout the store there is more security with a handful of sales staff. It was a bit hard to get a sales person for assistance, though I did eventually found someone to help. Salesperson was nice, gave a few recommendations here and there. Initially I thought I found a good piece to buy and continued walking through the store to see if there was more stuff. Apparently I looked too sus to them, there was one security guy who followed me nonstop throughout the store, he said nothing and just gave a condescending stare. I'm literally holding a dress by the hanger and have no large bag...not sure how they would assume I would smuggle it out of the store. I just felt that their focus is wasted, since they placed so much effort on following me nonstop. Or maybe they get a kick out of being rude. Anyways, it just became a major turn off so I returned back to rack and left. Why should I bother purchasing from such a store? I love the Hirshleifers! A lot of people outside of NY are unfamiliar with them. Hirshleifers is similar to a Bergdorf's or Neimans with high-end designers items from Chanel, Saint Laurent, Dior and many more. But more in a intimate setting on a smaller scale. What set them apart is the buyers pick better selections from designer brands when compared to Bergdorf, Neimans and Saks. And they receive items quicker. I was able to purchase Dior sandals before other stores received them. I follow the owners Marci and Lori on Instagram. They post daily on new arrivals. Great way to keep updated on what is out or new for each brand. read more

I think it's one of the best shops for mens high end designer clothes,bags, and accessories. Where there are so many high end stores in long island geared towards women, it's refreshing to have a store who has not forgotten about men as well. They have such a vast collection of shoes, and i love that the sales people work towards building relationships with their customers to better serve them in the future. The staff is terrible! Rude, unhelpful, lazy but worst of all just unprofessional. You'll get a lot of uncomfortable stares when looking and touching, but when you need help they avoid you. Can someone inform the bratty salespeople they are selling luxury products which should mirror the experience. The security guy standing right by the door when leaving and entering just stares at you like a criminal instead of greeting you or helping with the door. If I won the lottery tomorrow I wouldn't support this business anymore. In 2018 I bought some Louboutins from here, and it was a much better experience. There are plenty of sales people on the floor but they were too busy chatting with each other, laughing, and not helping customers nor were they greeting guests coming in and passing by. The overall environment their sales people created was not very inviting. I would never physically buy anything from this store due to what I witnessed. The service/lack of service is appalling. Overall, this is a compilation of many designer brands and if I wanted to shop a specific brand, I would just go to their flagship in NYC, not some wanna be concept store all the way in Long Island with no service. If anything, the service should be even better here than what is offered at any brands flagship because you are ultimately competing with everyone else so why would anyone want to shop at your store without even the most basic service? I have been to many concept stores around the world including Antwerp, Colette in Paris, Asia, etc... Service has been been exceptional everywhere I've been... except for my visit to this Hirshleifers store unfortunately. Companies like this will never last. It is imperative that you take a page out of proper retail client service experience if you want to survive. I actually feel really bad for the Hirshleifers family as I am sure they have no clue what is going on in their own house. Clean up your act and retrain everyone! Major key: you're very likely to cross paths with someone famous while in this store so keep your eyes open...(this may be one of the 2 reasons why I enter this store) Pro tip: they opened up a Kith inside, (the second reason i go into this store) so make your way babes, because basic Instagram posts of cereal ice cream is on its way to a phone near you. And then AFTER seeing a man who had recently purchased something behind a counter looking at shoes, I went over to look at the shoes and was yelled at that i wasn't allowed behind that counter, and I needed to ask for assistance or to be with an associate to be at this section. No one greets you at the door, welcomes you or anything! And every employee working there thinks they're Kanye West. News flash...you're not, and you're still getting paid minimum wage. So take THAT! Warning: long review lol. So I bought a card holder there at the Chanel before with the help of Pandora and previously Nina assisted me as well..both nice ladies. That's why I gave it 2 stars. However the most recent time I went there was NOT pleasant. Came straight from work so I was in scrubs...that may be why I got those snotty looks from the staff!! Anyway I found the Boy WOC I've been searching for a while. Once I took it down from the shelf to look at, a younger darker skin sales lady comes up to me, takes the bag away and while placing it back on the shelf is like, "um can I help you?" I said...uh yeah, do you have that in any other colors. She said she'll check and led me to the back. No luck so I asked for the one that I was looking at before. She brought it to me...no eye contact...not friendly at all...no interest in my sale!! I literally was going to buy it on the spot. Then to top it off...ugh, so I kept my own Chanel card holder on the glass counter while I examined the WOC and being the OCD perfectionist I am, I keep the plastic on the CC emblem just because. She sees my wallet and is like, "um is that yours?" I said yes as I took it back into my pocket. Then she says in such a snotty tone, "Why you still have the plastic on it? You know nothing bad will happen to it?!"....okay leave me alone! Done deal. I was annoyed. I gave the WOC back to her and was like BYE. It's just the complete unfriendliness, the poor customer service, and the fact that I didn't feel welcome walking into that store. Immediately upon entering the store i felt super uncomfortable. They were playing vulgar rap music which immediately told me i was not going to spend a dime with them. I understand their target audience is instagram influencers but come on. The staff did seem prejudice to me but the security was super lovely ironically. The sales associates definitely profile people and based on their own judgment is the level of service you will receive. I don't understand how people making no more than $75,000 a year (and thats me being generous) feel so superior to others. Like love im shopping here on a weekday in the middle of the day and your at work so clearly our financial status is not the same. I would liken the interior to shopping at the airport. The units at the Americana mall are too small for the setup they've created. It feels like they forced themselves into the space and you feel claustrophobic. It felt like north korea in there between the legion of sales associates and security guards. I completely respect their security measures but it is beyond excessive. I preordered and paid for my Chanel bag last Tue 10/8. Got an email last Friday 10/11 saying my bag had come in and it would ship out to me on Monday 10/14. Today being Thur 10/17 still no package received . I live in FL so shipping would be from NY to FL. I emailed the sales associate and asked for my tracking number and was promised one by 5pm today. Got an email notification from UPS at 4:30pm stating a package from Hirshleifers was expected to be shipped out to me (UPS hasn't even received the package yet). Expected delivery day they gave me is next Tuesday 10/22. So my bag hasn't even been shipped yet all these time and is just NOW getting ready to ship. Just wow. Had I not contacted the sales associate today and inquired about my package would it ever get shipped? And if so when are they planning to ship?? I wonder. So beware Hirshleifers does take a long time to ship out merchandise as supposed to Chanel boutiques, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom's, Newman's and Saks. With those places I would have gotten my bag by now since they do ship super fast. When I expressed my displease to my sales associate he gave me an explanation that ohh he was just waiting for me to give him the ok to ship. HUH?? Whenever I place an online/phone/in person order I never have to call or contact that person back and give my ok to ship my purchase? What kind of a lame excuse was that?? I went yesterday and felt like a VIP! Everyone was very nice to me, and it made my shopping experience very pleasant and relaxed. Anjeanette helped me find the perfect pumps! She gave me some helpful tips, and had amazing energy! I did not feel rushed, or judged because I was not dressed to the nines as higher end shops oft have a reputation for. My only complaint? That I could not buy all of the shoes I tried one! I narrowed them all done to the Opyum kid leather pumps, and they are art in motion! This review is specifically about Chanel's SAs. The previous reviews echo my own experience. I found their behavior inappropriate and shocking. At one point, four of them were discussing my purchase in front of me, referring to me in the 3rd person as if I weren't standing right in front of them. This passive aggressive behavior is not acceptable in luxury retail. In any case, it's always better to purchase at a Chanel boutique than just an authorized Chanel retailer. I have mixed feelings. I have been on the search for a Small coco handle in black.. I went in on a Saturday evening right before closing in November. Michelle helped me with my order. I felt quite rushed, which I didn't like but understood because I was there close to closing. I was told that I can do a special order for the small coco handle. I prepaid for the item, and she said she will call me when it comes in. I called in January for an update, nothing. I also wanted to inquire about another bag, the Chanel 19. There were rumors about a price increase. Michelle assured me that there would be no increase on the Chanel 19 so I just believed so. I later find out that the Chanel 19 did have an increase, I was given misinformation. In February, the coco handle came in and I received the call to come pick it up. I went in and this time, I didn't feel rushed and thought all was good. I take my bag and leave. About an hour later, I receive a call saying, well there was a price increase since I placed the order and I need to pay the difference of about $350. I was disappointed that they didn't honor the price I paid when I preordered it in November, but didn't give the SA a difficult time and just paid the difference. About a month later, I am just browsing the Chanel site, and the coco handle is priced at $4000, below what I paid for. So I look at the tag that came with my bag and it says $4000 also. I decide to give Michelle a call. She tries to tell me that well, they don't go into each bag and change the price on the tags on each bag after delivery from Paris. She tells me to look at the price on the Chanel site. When I refer her to the Chanel site, she then talks to the manager and finds out the price increase was only $100 and they will refund me the difference. I have mixed feelings for Hirschleifers because my mom and I have come here to purchase our Chanel pieces and they usually have what I am looking for. I have been assisted by one of the buyers via phone and they were so helpful! I just feel like the SAs are not well informed with prices and information. I ordered a Bag the week after Christmas . I was told by Claudia my sales representative she would contact me as soon as the bag arrived to the store . I was shopping February 5, 2020 and stopped in to inquire about my order and spoke with another sales representative, the young girl checked the computer and explained to me that the store hadn't received any shipments and Claudia would be the one to contact me about my YSL bag. My hubs wanted to add to my collection by getting me a Celine micro on eBay for a good price for my birthday. Good price and eBay scares me because I hate fake bags and rather the real thing. If it had been a Lv or Burberry I woulda in seconds known if fake but Celine I'm new so I have no idea how to judge. Anyway I stopped in real fast before crate & barrel. The store in general has gone through a lot of renovations and is a beautiful store but that is as far as it goes. The salespeople who work here need a major reality check. They forget what their job role is suppose to be. That is a salesperson who is supposed to treat a customer good so that they come back. Walking into this store the sales people look you up and down to see if you are worth their while. The security makes you feel like you just escaped from Rikers and are on the most wanted list. It is truely disgusting. The sales people have truely forgotten which SIDE OF THE COUNTER they work on. They are the ones working during the day not lunching and shopping with their friends during the day. They act like they are doing you a favor by even speaking to you. Save yourself the horrible feeling of going into this store. Go on Instagram and find a great sales person at saks or Bergdorf goodman who can send you whatever you want and if you don't like it. Hirshleifer's is good if you see something you like online, but don't want to buy just yet because you haven't tried/seen it in real life. This is about the Chanel Boutique portion of Hirshleifers: The manager is just so, so off putting. My mother purchased several Chanel bags/accessories here over the past few years, and she absolutely takes care of all of her luxury bags, because these products are a superb treat for her. However, this time, she bought her bag, and brought it home, and did NOT open anything until I had gotten home after work to check out her bag. When she pulled it out for the first time at home, we noticed a raised leather bump on the backside of the bag. An imperfection, if you will. So I told her we can go exchange it together on my next day off, since she does not speak English very well. Once we got there, the sales associates were all fine and agreed that yes, that leather portion must have parted with the inner lining or something, so the glue failed there in that bag. Regardless, when you shell out $$$$ for a bag, and you take it home, you really do want it to be perfect on the first day. The manager comes out and then tells us that we stored the bag with the handles wrong and that it's from the handle. Really? First thing you do is blame the customer? When I mentioned that it just looked like the linings got parted, she kept going on how the we stored it wrong, and at that point, I didn't really want to argue, because I had to keep translating for my mother and then back to the store associates, including that rude manager. I don't want to come here again. Most of the employees are extremely rude and conceited. I got yelled at, at the Chanel store, for trying to take a belt off the display. That's not a very smart business strategy for a store that's trying to sell items for $600+. They have a variety of shoes, but they run out of a lot of sizes and don't re-stock. I tried on some Louboutins. They came in 4 colors. And they only had my size in one of the colors. I asked if they could order them in pink, and the employee said no, their shipment is done and they can't get more. Same with the Valentinos I liked. 4-5 colors and had only one in my size. A positive: The employee in the YSL section was very sweet. I recommend going to Manhattan, King of Prussia, Palm Beach, or Bal Harbour for your luxury shopping needs. Why would you shop here when you could go to a Dept store or online for a better return and exchange policy if unsatisfied???

I'm actually so satisfied with my purchase today. I have a work event tomorrow night and couldn't find shoes. I finally decided to get a pair of classic Louboutins because they are just such a statement piece. Lilya helped me and let me try some styles. What I loved was that she was so real. I had asked for So Kate's and she brought out a Décolleté as well. I felt like a new baby deer, I could barely walk. She recommended the décolleté because they are similar is style, got that classic look, just a bit lower. SUCH A DIFFERENCE. I could actually walk. She offered to stretch them and it helped so much. I really wish every other employee was more approachable like her. I always get so nervous when I walk around because I always feel judged. Lilya was excellent. Go see her! read more
