We initially found a beautiful glass bowl with multicolor shells at an excellent price. The owner of the shop asked that we if could come back he would box it for my wife as the store was very busy at the time when we came there. We had just started our visit in Manteo and we're thankful to have it boxed and had plenty of time to spare. We came back later with it ready to go and we shopped some more finding some hand crafted nautical fan pulls and wooden carving of a red fish to purchase as well. The owner was a very friendly native of the area who had traced his family back to the 1600's when they arrived on the island. The name and sign may be a little misleading to a great shop that has some of the more unusual nautical themed merchandised that are priced very reasonably. Definitely worth stopping in if you are ever in the area. I know we will be back when in the OBX again!

They offer a lot of cool classes and even take home canvases that have a pre-drawn image. This is what we ended up getting. We got three for about $100. Sadly, we were pretty disappointed with the actual product we got. When you get the canvas it shows what the image is supposed to look like when it's completed, and it comes with paints. I don't know what I expected but I got a canvas that had a hand drawn, in pencil, horse on it. That's it. With written instructions. Honestly I didn't mind the canvas being hand drawn but please get someone to do a better drawing? I don't know. For $30 each it's just not what i personally expected. I think overall maybe just stick with the classes and skip this part.

This store takes up space in the Outlets of Nags Head. Which is good for the plaza. Think of this as a high end souvenir shop. A lot of beautiful things that you can take home to decorate your place. It almost feels like a library in here. It is quite, bright, and every shelf or table is full of items to browse. A lot of things that look desirable. So many things that you can take a lot of day looking through it all. I came in and looked all around, I went straight to the magnets to add to my collection. My nieces and nephew went straight for the shells. All nice and clean, ready to pick through. They also have this section where they have mini books, which they loved. Walked out of here with many little things, most of which are on the fridge at home. Great place to browse and grab.

Great little outlet place to kill some time when it's hot or when you need a break from the beach…read more Lots of the usual stores here (Gap, Aerie, Vera Bradley, LOFT), but I have to highlight a local, small business, The Salty Seahorse. She is all the way on one end, so don't miss this spot. Lot's of cute items and local art to purchase and she was so sweet and helpful. Go support her and pick up something amazing. The other shops had pretty great deals, but I wanted to spotlight that one. There are some food options there too, pizza and burgers so you can grab a drink or something to eat.

Mostly all the stores offer some type of clothing, aiming for the beach. Splash in some eateries, a shoe store, and high end souvenir shop, then you basically just formulated this place. Ample parking here, and I dare to say that there isn't a rush to come here. A lot of parking goes unused here as there really isn't much to make you want to come here. You would think that there would be better variety, but here we are years down the road and things change.
