And I had some great, animated conversations with the artists themselves, who were helpful and excited to talk about their work. Yes, these are hand-made specialty items, so the price was high. But it is going directly to the artists, so it is worth it.

I have fond memories of celebrating my grandparents' 50th anniversary at the museum, visiting during weekend trips to Devou Park and attending Girl Scout camps. The museum also once had a family heirloom on display. It had been maybe 20 years since I last visited, and I met my family at the museum last week to see the White Christmas exhibit. And what I found was a museum that has been renovated. It boasts the old street car and two-headed calf like before but now has more complete exhibit areas. I especially love the giant train set (was that there 20 years ago?) and special exhibit area. Excited to bring my kids to Behringer-Crawford so they can make their own memories.

For families needing assistance with children there is so much for them to explore. Besides the extremely interactive children's museum, we loved how innovative the transportation museum is. This location being an old train station, made the experience even more interesting. The path to get to the event center is a very windy and I was afraid I was going the wrong way several times. However, the ample signage pointed me in the right direction. The front of the event center has a cute awning and nice lights. I would absolutely host an event here.
