Matcha tiramisu tart Sakura mont blanc Limited season items

Huge fan of the flavour profiles. Matcha, Sakura, light fruity flavour pastries. Drinks with strawberry, coconut, Sakura, genmaicha ,etc. All traditional Japanese flavours unique to most bakeries ive been too in Toronto and done very well. Super friendly customer service, offering suggestions when asked and patient with us. Not cheap, but better value than other new bakeries ive been too that are more expensive and smaller in size. Their flake crust is delicious but a little hard to cut into if you're sharing with others. Would like to visit more often if the parking was easier to access (lots of neighbouring units don't like non patrons of their own stores parking in front of their store). Very few seats - mainly meant for people waiting for their order or just here for a quick snack. Not a spot to hang with friends or bring your laptop.

Been meaning to try out this cute little bakery. They have nice seating inside, but the parking outside is not ideal. Not a lot of spots and right off of highway 7. Asked which ones were the most popular tarts and was suggested the crème brûlée tart and the matcha lava tart which has mochi inside. Both were quite tasty and I really liked the brûlée with the crispy tart. I also got the Sakura matcha latte. The Sakura foam was really good, overall, I enjoyed the baked goods and drink here. Will come back.

NEW Hitotoki Bakery location uptown! Cute little shop with 5 tables, good for solo or small groups of 2-3 ppl. There are maybe 2-3 parking spots in front of the store. Usually customers park further down the strip and walk over. Staff is friendly and always ready to help! 100% get their egg tart (4.50) if this is your first time here. If you are adventurous, the taro tart (6.25) is also delicious, and secretly packed with mochi inside! The tiramisu tart (6.75) is an egg tart topped with a tasty tiramisu cream + cocoa powder. I personally like the egg tart on its own :p Definitely coming back for more egg tarts!

This cute little japanese bakery opened up in unionville earlier this month. Lots of unique desserts to try! Crust of the dessert is super crispy similar to a croissant. Everything i tried was a sweet dessert, wish they would make a butter croissant with their crust because i think it would be super tasty!! atmosphere is small but has a couple of seating. Everyone that works there is also super sweet and friendly! Definitely go and give it a try if you want to try some unique japanese flavoured desserts!!

The pastry was fine, the drinks were just okay. Not the greatest location as parking is terrible right now highway 7. They were out of Sakura jelly/stuff to make the drink I initially ordered and it was only an hour after opening, so that was pretty disappointing. Small seating available, and they seem to sell out fast both times we have went

Tucked inside Markham 朗豪坊, X Cafe is a takeout-only spot that keeps things simple but does them right. They have a solid selection of ready-made small cakes for quick pickups, and you can also pre-order custom cakes in your preferred flavors and sizes. Prices are very reasonable, especially given how fresh everything tastes. It's nothing over-the-top or flashy just genuinely satisfying when you're craving dessert. What impressed me most was how well-balanced the flavors were. Nothing overly sweet or heavy. I usually prefer sponge cakes over mousse, and theirs really delivered soft, airy, and perfectly moist with just the right hint of sweetness. A lovely go-to for cake lovers, and definitely a spot worth supporting if you appreciate thoughtfully made, no-fuss desserts from a local small business

Mango Red Rice Bento - A decent sized cake probably for 2 people. I'd say its a 6 in x 6 in cake. The sponge layers were moist and cream layers light. Mango and Red Rice combo was interesting, but felt a bit unbalanced. Red rice gave good texture but contributed little to flavour, hence the flavour from the cake was one dimensional. Nice to try. Salted Caramel, Mochi and Walnut Bento - The many different ingredients contributed to the complexity of the cake. There was the texture from the mochi and walnut, flavours from salted caramel and nuts. Would get again. Also got to try a slice of their millie crepe. Crepes were sweet and soft but again not too complex, would not get again. But also I don't value mille crepe cakes. Would come back for the bentos, its a nice to share would 2-4 people!

A family was waiting for their order. So I placed an order order for egg waffles took about 10ish minutes that's fair. I heard about this place for. IG however I don't see the hype. I do understand very hard working couple in the back very polite and kind. I ordered sesame bubble waffle and matcha wanted to try. Total should have been 9$ however they charged me $10 not a big deal their tip or tax or maybe they didn't have change in cash. Black Sesame one came out crispy, matcha flavor wise wasn't too memorable. My friend wanted to order ice cream the lychee and ube was out. Settled for mango. They took time to decorate the ice cream apparently made in house. 3.98$ plus tax for 1 scoop. Price was decent they had some other deals such as original bubble waffle 1 for $4 or 2 for 6$. Special drink items 1$. For cheap eats in the area it's good. Nothing overly memorable. Hard working family appreciate the hustle.

I usually come here whenever I'm in the area and craving for original egg waffles. Their egg waffles are always freshly made and its crispy, it's legit bomb! My kids love them and so do I. The owners are super nice and sweet. When they see my kids, they would offer them a little treat like candy or freezies. They offer a variety of drinks and desserts. Ice cream is offered in many different flavors. Original egg waffles are 2 for $5 which is the cheapest I've come across, no where else beats this price. I keep coming back here because of their great service and the prices are really good. If you're craving for some dessert or even a drink I would highly recommend this place. So far they are closed on Tuesdays and sometimes they are closed for a period of time due to vacations.
