    soybean cream box cake
    Shirley H.

It's very hard to find the entrance to the store. In the beginning i went to the outside entrance that's facing the road, which is in fact the back door of the kitchen. The lady gestured me to come through the main entrance which is inside the parking lot. The choices in the store was limited but each option looks delicious. It just feel like you can't go wrong with any choice! The soybean cream box cake was my first time trying such flavour. Not a typical fan of cream but the soybean cream was fresh and not greasy at all. The cake at the bottom is also quite spongey.

After a recommendation from a friend, I decided to order a cake for my mom's birthday. I messaged the business on Facebook after hours and they replied within a couple hours. I ordered a Osmanthus and Pear crepe cake - I really enjoy the light flavour. It's definitely suitable for those who prefer a less heavy and sweet cake - especially for the elderlies. As for the kids, they were a little disappointed as the cake had minimal decorations. The cake comes nicely packaged with a hand written custom message sign, a happy birthday sign, small candle, as well as one sparkler. This place may be a little tricky to find as they are not located inside Langham Square nor the strip of businesses along the plaza. The store entrance is located in the underground parking lot which can be accessed across from the Nissan dealership. Will definitely return to try other crepe cakes as well as their mini bento cake boxes.

Located in the underground parking facing Nissan dealership. Very hidden location. I Ordered their Osmanthus and pear millie crepe cake for my in-laws' birthday. Cake was Delicious. Texture was silky smooth with very subtle osmanthus flavour, the pear chunks could only be found on the top of the cake and they added crunchiness to the cake. Refreshing to eat and not very sweet so it's perfect for elderlies. I find that at $55, it's a bit much for a 6" cake.

    Durian crepe cake

One of the best durian crepe cakes I've had. Instead of mixing small pieces of durian with the cream like most bakeries, they add huge pieces of pulp. If you are a durian lover, you will definitely like this cake.

We ordered a crepe cake with 4 different favours. It is so yummy!!! The crepe cake is very soft, moist and with many layers. Highly recommend it!

Want to buy some dessert to celebrate with my parents for Mother's Day dinner. Found this from yelp and looks good. Location is really not easy to find, store entrance from underground parking. Bought a durian cake, durian crepe cake and mango & purple glutinous rice crepe cake. It has right amount of sweetness. The durian smell so strong when we opened the box. Love the texture of the crepe and cake, very soft and fresh. Definitely worth to try!

The cakes are all light and there are so many fresh fruits packed into all the desserts. It's a family business, and the family takes so much pride in everything they make. I love these cakes!

The cream is shaky and the cake cannot stand firm. Disappointed, as it is supposed for a special occasion.

Be prepared for a bit of a line on weekends. The store has ropes to guide the lineup. With all that said, Yan's is well worth the wait. This place has been around for decades. I have been a loyal supporter since their Market Village location. Although the new storefront is smaller with takeout only, it still offers the same great options that keep everyone coming back. The prices remain reasonable ($3 and up). Their soy milk is top-notch. My absolute favorite has to be the coconutmilk tofu pudding ($3.70). It is a delightful treat! If you are a fan of soy based desserts, Yan's Soy Food is a must-visit!

Freaking amazing - glad I stopped by during my Toronto visit…read more This place has a massive line, however it seems they manage it very well, and it doesn't actually take as long as you would think it would. It's located by a food court - so you can swing by there if you wanted to sit and enjoy it right away, however food court was pretty busy, so may take some time for you to actually get a table. The tofu dessert was sooooo satisfying - warm, soft and literally just melts with just the right amount of sweetness - I wanted seconds right away. The soy milk was also not bad, that we toke home and enjoyed the following day. Will definitely find a chance to re-visit in the future!
