I repeated the information at least twice...maybe even 3 times. She put me on hold and when she came back on the line she told me yes they had it. I thanked her and proceeded to drive to that store. Upon arriving I went to the frozen food section to get the item only to find they actually DID NOT have it!!! I went to Customer Service and asked the young woman behind the counter if she was the one I spoke with about the particular item in question and she responded yes. I then said can you show me where it is because I just looked and it's not there. I said I specifically repeated what I was looking for at least twice to which she said I'm sorry it was very noisy here. If she didn't hear what I was asking for then she should have asked me to repeat myself!!! I drove 25 mins to get there only to find that they didn't have the item that I had called and was told that they did!!! I wasted my time and my gas, at $4.00/gallon, for absolutely nothing!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! The young woman behind the Customer Service Desk was heavy set with long, dark hair that is parted in the middle. I was so irritated that I walked away without getting her name. Acme needs to do much better because as I said this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Although the billing address on my credit card is in Brooklyn, the delivery address was clearly listed as Montebello. The order never arrived. I tried calling the store, but no one answered. I called multiple extensions, left messages for both the delivery department and the online order department, and never received a return call. Since I couldn't get any information, I sent my son to the store. That's when we learned that the order had been canceled without any notification because of the Brooklyn billing address, despite the delivery address being Montebello. My son had to pick up the order himself. To make matters worse, I was still charged a shopper tip and a delivery tip--even though there was no shopper or delivery. My son did the pickup. I returned to the store on Sunday to request refunds for those charges. I was told the credits would be processed, but I still haven't received them. There was also no manager available who had the authority to resolve the issue. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The lack of communication, the unexplained cancellation, the inability to reach anyone by phone, and being charged for services that were never provided are completely unacceptable. I also left a message with customer service, but based on my experience so far, I'm not optimistic that anyone will return my call.
