Objectively funny story. My partner and I ended up eating @ TWK 3 times in the last 5 years. Once in Sept 2022; May 2024 and now March 2026. After realizing this and looking through our pictures, we found out that not only do we sit at the same table every time, but also order THE SAME meal! He has the Scampi Marguerite Pizza ($26) and I, the house made warm 3 cheese melt with bread and apples ($16) with various drinks. This time around I had a hot green tea and he, a coke. Service is always exceptional. And I swear there are more items on the menu than what we order! This Sunday, there was a live band which was a nice touch with our afternoon meal. The whole atmosphere makes us gravitate there whenever we visit Piedmont on our day trips. There is a full functioning bar on one side and a mini market / ice cream shop in the summer on the other side. I think the versatility is very creative for the space. Definitely be back in 2028 hehe but hopefully sooner! read more

Today, july 5, lunch. Not impressed. Husband and I. He ordered salad with shrimp, 22$. He got "3" small to medium sized shrimp on arugula....$22! What? I got a ciabbi veggie pesto sandwich that came as 90 % red onion. Will not be going back. SO Sad. read more

Absolutely love this place. The Italian sub is off the charts--easily the standout--but the meatball sub, pizza, and the meatballs with mozzarella and tomato are all excellent as well. Pro tip: go Sunday after 2pm for a late lunch--great music and a fun time. Jerry on the bass is awesome. Honestly surprised it's sitting at only 3.5 stars. The margarita pizza was delicious paired with a delicious tri colored salad and a beer. The service was great and fast. They also had a live band at 2pm but we had to come back and we did. We love visiting Piermont - walking along the pier, attending the fairs and festivals, or just some light shopping. This market is a nice stop to refuel with coffee, tea or ice-cream ... well, esp. the ice-cream! Price is great, atmosphere is very casual, and service is always friendly. There are some unique items for sale as well. We've taken home biscottes, pastas, teas and jams that you won't see elsewhere. read more

I'm a local. I don't understand the bad reviews here. The owners are lovely people as is the bartender and I've been here many times. The food is out of this world especially the hollandaise eggs Benedict dishes, pizzas, breads all phenomenal. High quality ingredients. I think the best mid-casual food and ambiance in Piermont. I really enjoy the food here. It's got a Chelsea Market feel in the Lower Hudson Valley and there is a wide variety of food. We have natural ice cream and coffee to pizza to seafood and everything in between. If you can think of it, they will make it. And trust me, it will taste delicious. This place has a very rustic decor and a "part of the family" host vibe. You know, the kind of family that when you walk through the door they tell you to come eat and even if you have already eaten, they will still bring you something to eat? The brick oven pizza is phenomenal and they have a smoker on site. If you like pork, you are in for a real treat! The pork tenderloin is out of this world. Untrained wait staff left alone on Sunday their busiest day with live music owner should be ashamed. Food was a nightmare out of a bunch of dishes the dishes we had were inedible and sent back. Not a great experience would not recommend. read more

I have gone there several times to hear live music. I have twice been told to leave the bar and sit in the back (where I couldn't see the band) because I was drinking soda, not drinking alcohol or eating. I have never gone to a bar or restaurant and been told I had to move because I wasn't spending enough money to sit at the bar. I have never been at a bar or restaurant where your seating depended on a hierarchy of spending. I used to be be a bartender and I would have never told a customer to move because they weren't spending enough money. The times I did spend money and did eat there, the menu was limited, the food was overpriced, and not very good anyway. I am never going back there again. read more

On my last New York adventure, I had the pleasure of attending an awesome Yelp Event at Dvine Pie, a rad pizza spot that's located in the adorable village of Piermont, NY. We arrived kind of early for the "pizza brunch", so it was a stroke of luck that my boyfriend and I stumbled upon TWK Community Market to grab a quick drink before we headed over for the event. This wonderful spot pulls double duty as a market and casual breakfast / lunch restaurant, and even though we didn't sample anything off the simple but tasty looking menu, it sure did smell good! Take a look around the small but venerable space, which features locally made food and beverages for sale, beer & wine (my New England brain is still trying to wrap my head around this), and a full service deli counter that has prepared foods, too. We just got some iced tea and seltzer so as to save room for the Yelp Event, but I appreciated that they had Diet Joe Tea, which is super hard to find! Our drinks were sort of pricy (roughly $7 for a seltzer and an iced tea), but all in all, I would totally come back here. Piermont has a lot of great attractions we look forward to visiting in warmer months, and TWK will definitely be our stop for all our picnic needs! read more

I came in and ordered the meatball hero with french fries. Their bread was toasted perfectly and crunchy. The meatballs were very tasty themselves. I felt awkward trying to order a sandwich. The person making the food and taking the orders only acknowledged my presence after another customer pointed out that I had been waiting longer than he had to be served. My sandwich was good minus the bun being burned on both sides. I sat down to eat my sandwich was was promptly removed from the table, and was told the tables were only for dine in customers and not for people who order out. Every ingredient is fresh, the portions are perfect, and if one decides to dine there, the interior has been gorgeously renovated in old school classic style. The TWK Community Market already has "regulars" coming back for more. If wine or beer is your meal of choice (no, never!) there is a small but comfy bar to enjoy your liquid lunch/snack/dinner/breakfast??? Awful. One time is an off day, two times is a dirty establishment with nasty staff. If the flies swarming all over the deli counter don't turn you off, and you don't mind 1) having a simple order of sandwiches entirely messed up and 2) paying $33 for said 2 messed up sandwiches and 2 cans of soda, then you'll certainly be turned off by the horribly rude staff. To wit: 1) the older female greeter who told us that the empty tables right out side the restaurant were not for takeout (but that just "this one time" she'd let us sit there. 2) the younger female barback who, when asked for water (she was literally standing RIGHT by the water tap) told us that we could get water from the bathroom sink. When I embarrassed her into filling our glasses (who wants to bring food and cutlery into a bathroom???) she tried to defend herself by telling me "it's the same water." Oh, and after ignoring us, then proceeded to snap at us when we went to get extra napkins and a knife. Not to be outdone: charging 4% for use of a credit card with absolutely no sign whatsoever. Love this place. The food, decor and staff are all excellent. On two occasions had the grilled Octopus Salad and it both times equally as good! First time sat outside - and enjoyed people watching. 2nd time sat inside at the newly added bar and the atmosphere was rustic, warm and friendly. HEALTH SCORE OF A 61 (6 violations)... need I say more?But I will... I don't even know where to start. Stopped in with my nieces and nephews for a mid day snack. This place was 1) filthy 2) not sure who the manager or owner is but to use the words "rude" and "unprofessional" would be an understatement. We got the sense that maybe they only are nice to locals and not out of town visitors. I don't know for sure but when I spoke to another family member who lives near Piermont, they shared the same experience. My wife and I stopped here while on our way home and visiting Piermont. What an unexpected and fantastic place to find a great lunch. The river rat sandwich was outstanding. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. HORRIBLE customer service. The owners (husband and wife) are verbally abusive to their customers. Wanted to get ice cream and was in between two flavors - wasn't allowed to test a flavor. Ordered an icecream anyways and 2 espressos. Wanted to sit with my family and enjoy the ice cream and espressos and the owner I think her name is Maureen told us we couldn't sit at one of her tables because we weren't eating food. Meanwhile we had the icecream and espressos. Told us she needed the tables for other customers but there were plenty of tables empty. When we questioned her, she started screaming yelling saying if we didn't leave she was going to call the cops. Then her husband dumped one of our espressos into the garbage. CRAZY!!!!! Great little bistro, right on the main street in Piermont NY, nestled near the Hudson River. This little gem is a great little place to sit and relax, have a glass of wine or beer and delicious sandwiches or pizza - and don't forget the ice cream. I even had the Chicken Milanese off their main menu which was the best I ever had!!! The owners make you feel right at home the moment you walk in the door. Service is excellent. I have a severe intolerance to most ice creams and the ice cream they serve is one of the only ice creams I can tolerate. My dad tried to talk to the employee about it and she got extremely defensive. However, the employee threatened to call the police if we did not leave immediately. We were thrilled when the Community Market opened in Piermont. The space had been vacant for years, and for years before that, it might as well have been vacant. We just catered a small party with the Community Market and I'm happy to say Hank, Maureen and their team did a great job!
