A painful experience…read more One of the most important things to consider when entering into a relation with any attorney is good communication. With the exception of the initial consultation, where David was trying to get my business, the communication was abysmal: phone calls would go unreturned, emails unanswered, requests to be cc'd on emails with opposing councel were ignored, information vital to my case was mishandled, and ultimately, I was left in the dark about the status of my own case. When I did have the chance to speak to David on the phone, i was rushed or he was distracted. If an attorney doesn't have the ability to effectively communicate with his own client, then this suggests to me that he is not capable of being a good communicator-negotiator with opposing counsel. I ended up with a horrible settlement most likely due to this reason.
