Based on my experience, Guardian Windows checks the boxes that matter: quality product, professional installation, reasonable pricing, and respectful customer service. Guardian Windows is a small family business managed by Marty and his son Robert. From the first interaction, you can tell they value your time and your business. They explain their product clearly, answer questions, and provide a fair price without aggressive sales tactics. Another thing I really appreciate is that they have their own installation crew, which is not always common in this price range. The crew, led by Jose, treated my house with care, installed everything professionally, and cleaned up the debris inside and outside once the job was done. The new windows look like they have always been part of the house. The windows themselves feel sturdy and well-made. They made of a premium vinyl and have strong energy-efficiency features. I also chose the sound-reduction package with an STC rating of 33. They are made in Texas with the Texas climate in mind. I'm genuinely happy with my experience and with the final result. I sent them what they asked for and they gave me a quote. I told them I wanted to move forward with getting it replaced and asked if they could come out to replace the window this week/weekend. They said they would need to come measure first, so we spent the next 3 days trying to nail down and date/time, but they were giving me vague answers like "tomorrow", but no time given. They said they could probably come out today (Thursday), but didn't give me a time. I asked what time, so I could have someone at the house to meet them, and they told me "around noon". I had my boyfriend go to the house to wait for them because I couldn't get away from work. He waited there until 2 pm before giving up and leaving. While he was waiting I asked J&J to call when they were on their way, sent a follow up email to see if they were coming, and sent a text asking them same....... NO RESPONSE AT ALL. I ended up sending a text back and saying not to come because I'm going to go with some else. This is not an effective way to run a business. I need to be able to set a time or time frame and know that the company I'm hiring is responsible enough to at least answer me. I can only imagine if I paid them and something went wrong, how big of a hassle it would be to have them come out to fix it. Don't waste your energy or your money on this company.

I asked her to call for a more experienced technician but she kept saying she could handle it. Welp she did a terrible job. Most of my deadbolts are stuck and hard to open now. Never had any issues opening or being stuck before the rekey service. The kitchen door deadbolt doesn't even lock. She removed the latch to make it lock now I have no latch there. When I asked her to get a supervisor to find a solution she went outside with the keys with my doors locked essentially locking me in my own house without a key! I was on the verge of calling police. The customer service person didn't help either, they kept blaming it on my doors in a newly remodeled house where I had no issues with my deadbolts locking before. Complete scary nightmare. Brought my vehicle in for a simple chip repair under a quarter in size. During the procedure, the chip expanded into a 13-inch crack running to the glass edge. When I reached out to the owner, Ken, to discuss a resolution, he admitted in writing that glass spreads under heat, but only offered to refund my initial payment. The repair should never have been performed in direct sunlight without cooling the glass or providing a warning. When I simply asked for partial assistance with my insurance deductible to replace the ruined windshield, Ken became hostile, completely reneged on his written offer to refund the original service fee, said the crack is now an act of god and it was going to happen no matter what, and finally called me a "cheap ass" in writing. If Ray had warned me before starting the repair that the chip would convert into a crack no matter what, I would have explored other options including going to my insurance directly. I came here to make a minor chip less visible, and I left with a destroyed windshield that will cost over a thousand dollars to replace. Avoid this business." The plastic cover that goes over windshield wiper glass. It's been lifting for half of it Because wasn't seal properly that happened right after a few months, the being installed despite the so - called " lifetime warranty" that was promise. When I tried to contact the owner to get it fixed, he was completed and professional and refused to honor the warranty.. His customer service is terrible.. And it's clear he doesn't stand by his work.. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.. save your money and go somewhere else!.
