I used a near by childcare for before/after care. The teachers greet kids with open arms, big smiles and hugs. They give kids options in activities. They respect kids autonomy, they don't just force them to do things. In LCR, K & school agers are constantly told what to do or they get yelled at if they don't! No hugs, no affection, no positive reinforcement! Director points finger in the child face to discipline for minor things, instead of redirecting them! We talk to kids at their level and kindly explains things to them. You get what you pay for. Glad we switched to Primrose last spring!

I was treated awful in the day care and they always totally ignored me when I dropped off my son to her classroom. The only thing the teacher is trying to communicate is how under-developed my son's language skill is and how good the other boys are. She never talked about what my son has learned or any good things about my son. Her cold look made me feel sick. One thing really pissed me off is an "accident". In fact, it is not a really accident. My Dad accidentally drove on the curb. I got a phone call from the school asked us to drive carefully. The teacher was so scared with the potential accident. She accused my dad scared her and my dad laughed at her. I was so mad that she accused us with hostility. If she can be mean to us, I can't believe how she treated my son very day. Of course she treated my son awful. My son had running nose all over his face, blood with cuts on his face and left-right side mixed shoes when I picked him up. They let my son watch the other kids play in water by claiming that we didn't bring a swim suit. oh my gosh, I handed over his swim suit and other supplies to his teacher in the same day morning. It is a place with all kinds of such dramas. Frankly speaking, there were nice teachers . I don't understand why they laid off the responsible and nice teachers. It might be because the culture is damaged by one or two of irresponsible and mean teachers.
