How is it every time I stop in here I can't walk out empty handed? I go in for just ONE thing and walk out loaded!!! I have a movie theater/man cave in our basement and I love that I can find the perfect decorations every time I walk in this store, from sign for the walls, to cushions, trinkets or covers for the sofa and chairs, not to mention the little items like small decorations of plants, or just items that fit what I am looking for, or didn't know I needed. Prices on some items are a little high, but almost always I find the perfect items within my "budget" LOL. Staff is always helpful and the seasonal items are nonstop perfection!! read more

At the Howell Hobby Lobby, they are selling AI generated images to put on your walls in your home, and on an assortment of random products they have in their building. Don't be decieved- these are created unethically by stealing real art from artists. This is really sad to see in real life, kind of dystopian and scary. read more

Great store, friendly employees have everything that I was looking for, organized too

I've been to many HL stores in NJ but this one is the worse!! I've called many times over the years to ask if the yarn is on clearance, either the employees tell me no (then I drive there and it's on Clearance) or they tell me it's on clearance and I go and it's not. I also bought decorative stones a couple of months ago (unfortunately couldn't find receipt) the employee telling me the package changed so they couldn't refund me, and suggesting I bought them somewhere else. I'm 99% sure I bought them at this store. The employees r good at BS. I'm done with this location! read more

I was very excited to take a friend for her first visit to the Hobby Lobby in Howell, NJ this past Monday. After we found the paper crafting area we were still looking for the Cricut machines. I found a worker and asked her where the Cricut machines were and she sighed, looked annoyed and told me where they were. After we located them in the last aisle in the back of the store I walked to the front and asked for someone to help us. That young lady barely acknowledged me. 10 or 15 minutes later i returned to the front and the gentleman who was now standing near the young woman said, "I asked people to help you but they all said they don't know anything about the Cricut." WOW. I replied. "I know how to use a Cricut. I need the price and how to actually get one of the machines". Finally the nicest lady (I forgot her name, I'm sorry) came and helped us. It just felt like almost all the other store employees hate their job. Besides, it looks like there are not enough workers to cover the store. I will probably shop at different locations. Or you could train your people in customer service and hire enough of them to actually be available to help. read more

Retail stores are open and some Hobby Lobby locations allow dogs inside! Brie visited one before the pandemic and was in awe of how many crafts, seasonal items, home decor, gifts, and fabric there is! If you are still quarantining and need something to do, Hobby Lobby is great place to come and find a project (you can print a coupon on their website). There is absolutely nothing here for me. My wife drags me into this place. She loves it here. They have some pretty nice stuff, much nicer than Michaels. Their prices seem pretty reasonable too and they always have stuff on sale. You know what they don't sell? Benches...so old farts like me have a place to sit while our crafty spouses can shop in peace. Its clean, well stocked, and reasonably priced. read more

This is like Michaels, AC Moore, Kirkland's and @Home all melted into one. They have it all including crafts, fabrics, yarn, accent furniture and a bunch of fake flowers that make me sneeze if I even go near that area. Anyway.... they have a good selection of knobs and pulls which Im grateful for. I'm buying knobs and pulls for things I don't even have things to put them on. THEY ARE THAT GOOD! I actually started to screw them into driftwood, random pieces of wood, my backyard fence (my neighbor was all like, "what are you screwing into the fence all the time"? like go feed your feral cat "colony" stinky and let me get on with my obsession TYVM!!! We were shopping at 4578 US-9, Howell Township, NJ 07731 on Wednesday at noon time. Spent about 45 minutes and then went to stand in line. The lines were crazy because of one person buying several carts of items. She kept getting out of line and shopping and then bringing more to the counter. Everyone there dozens of people were complaining. All the employees were silent and I left the line and my cart full of items and on the way out I told the management and she put her hands in the air. We saw many people leaving. The staff needs to be trained better there. This is the second issue we have seen with the lines there. You're losing business and customers. read more

Huge selection. Hard to find anything because the store is so big and the aisles are not marked, prices are comparable to michaels...but michaels is much more organized... it is a new store, so I think they have huge potential. read more
