I've only been here one other time. Today I was looking to put Dad & Mom's pictures on a backing to hang on the wall. I could spend hours in here busy walking around the store. They got the name right- Hobby Lobby. There's something for everyone and every holiday. I've picked up a few cute things for my office along the way. I love all the categorized home decorations and all the little sayings on various media. What a Christmas selection!!

A big bright store full of home decor and any craft you can think of. Masks are required to enter the store. They had an employee wiping down the carts when I entered. I was looking for the yarn department this particular visit. It was located at the back of the store. As I walked through I noticed lots of items on sale. Really good sales too. Like 50% off. Each department I walked by was tidy and prices were posted clearly. The yarns were pretty much picked over because of the 30% off sale and I was there on the last day of the sale. I read online that each department rotates it's sales every three weeks. I did find all the yarn colors I needed but it took a while. Check online for coupons before you check out. I found a 40% off coupon on one regular priced item. Lots and of crafts you could learn to do during this pandemic. I'm teaching myself how to crochet. I found everything I needed here. They do have plexiglass up at check out. And there is plenty of parking in the plaza parking lot. The staff I interacted with were friendly. read more

I like Hobby Lobby. This one doesn't come close to my regular HL neither metaphorically nor geographically, but it is larger. Larger didn't seem to mean more selection however the people were still nice. There was still peaceful music playing in the background rather than some preprogrammed mix designed by a corporate psychologist to coheres us into more. Lol This place seemed a little understaffed the day I went. They have a nice fabric section including the fabric that sold out in the PC HL! Whoohoo I bought the rest of the bolt! They cut the fabric fair enough with the 1/2 inch extra in my favor. Thank you! They were not crowded but had a consistent flow of customers. Nice selection of painting, drawing, sewing, floral, knitting & crocheting supplies as well as home decor. Clean bathrooms. Friendly, helpful employees. read more

Love this place. If you need to do a craft of any kind come here to get your supplies. They have nearly anything you could want. The only downside is aisles are not marked so you have to guess what is down one. I love the fabric selection too-one of the better ones I've seen. Plus they almost always have some on sale. Their selection of yarn is quite extensive as well. read more

Pros: Great sales, great selection, helpful staff. Cons: It's HUGE and hard to navigate with no aisle numbers (so if you're looking for something and it's in the "hobby section" you still have no idea where the hobby section is). I was in the need for some arts and crafts supplies to work on a homemade Christmas present for my family members, and I had heard great things about Hobby Lobby. This place is usually very busy, although I was able to find parking easily and navigate the store with no issues. There's no way you can shop at this store without finding something you'd need for the home or a cool project to work on. I was actually impressed with the selection of items- everything for arts and crafts to picture frames to some sweet metal tin signs I want to hang in my garage. I especially liked the model section, where they have everything you need to build model cars, ships, airplanes, etc... plus some cool projects for kids and young adults. The variety is amazing, and the prices are fairly cheap for most everything. My only complaint is along the lines with everyone else- it is pretty hard to find exactly what you need if you don't have the time to browse. The aisles aren't numbered, and the store is MASSIVE, I spent quite a bit of time looking for exactly the item I was looking for, and there aren't a whole lot of associates walking around to help. But I did enjoy the time I spent looking, I just walked each aisle and checked out the items and thought of some cool projects I could work on down the road. Checkout was fairly quick, the associates working the front lane were friendly and helpful, and I felt like I got a great deal for the amount of money I paid. I left the store with everything I needed to finish my project, didn't pay a lot, and left with a bunch of ideas of other things to do. Really enjoyed my experience here. Going to leave the politics out of it, folks. I spent 8 years in the Marines to support the constitution and the belief that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I went in today for the first time in years. Almost every shelf had items marked for sale. When I went to the register the cashier manually types in the original amount. When I asked about the items being on sale she went back and applied the discount. I asked the cashier if a customer isnt paying attention assuming the discount will be automatically deducted then they will get charged the full amount? Her answer was yeah I guess so. This is shady as hell. No other store requires the customer to remember what items were on sale and how much! Now I remember why its been years since I've been. I will not be going back read more

Before even getting to my car I realized I had been overcharged and even charged for items I did not buy. I went back in and the cashier went through all $100 worth of items , checking them off my receipt. Somehow ,I was not charged for a few items but overcharged for many more. The cashier called the manager over to help figure out how to return my money. The manager would not return the $ owed to me until she reviewed the video tape! The manager wasted way too much of my time and treated me like a thief! I guess the manager was satisfied after reviewing the tape because she refunded me the $20 I had been overcharged but not one apology for wasting my time! I like the store selection just fine. They have plenty of unique items for many projects. I like that you can use a 40% coupon from your phone to bring the price down to where something made in China is probably worth at a reasonable store profit. I am not at all impressed with the employees, and I did wait until I visited over a dozen times and have spent literally a couple grand in 12 months there. The framing manager is pretentious, reluctant to help. I gave her the benefit of the doubt approximately 3 times. Each time she succeeded with flying color to act bitchy/snobby and to be hugely bothered by me as a serious customer. At every occasion I was very polite and planning to spend money (witch collectively goes to support her job) in which she does not seem to enjoy it much. Also I was shopping for gold paint for my picture frame in which she said not to get metallic only use acrylic paint. DUH gold paint is made from metalic. So I got the metallic/acrylic and it looks fantastic! The point I am making, take advice from a real expert in which she apparently is not. Grumpy yes that she can do. I recommend Michaels over hobby lobby, but from time to time I will use this store for my personal convenience and just ignore the sorry service that they provide consitently. Update I was just told there is a Michaels here so I will gladly go there first. read more
