Crochet supplies for sock money blanket.

A big bright store full of home decor and any craft you can think of. Masks are required to enter the store. They had an employee wiping down the carts when I entered. I was looking for the yarn department this particular visit. It was located at the back of the store. As I walked through I noticed lots of items on sale. Really good sales too. Like 50% off. Each department I walked by was tidy and prices were posted clearly. The yarns were pretty much picked over because of the 30% off sale and I was there on the last day of the sale. I read online that each department rotates it's sales every three weeks. I did find all the yarn colors I needed but it took a while. Check online for coupons before you check out. I found a 40% off coupon on one regular priced item. Lots and of crafts you could learn to do during this pandemic. I'm teaching myself how to crochet. I found everything I needed here. They do have plexiglass up at check out. And there is plenty of parking in the plaza parking lot. The staff I interacted with were friendly.

Rude management and very poor customer service. Will never shop at this store again. There are many other places to buy from!

I had the most magical private shopping experience this evening at declaration & co. Not to mention…read morethe Easter egg hunt with goodies inside the eggs including a $5 coupon. Oh and did I mention complimentary champagne. My friend Vanessa RSVP'd for us to attend a private shopping event. She posted on IG a few months ago and the store looked charming so I asked her to take me next time. We checked in upon arrival and were offered one of three Easter themed mimosas. Yes, please and thank you;) We browsed candles, cloths, greeting cards , jewelry, candy, Easter baskets, moisterizing face masks, mugs, cups, books, journals, small bags and much more. The cool part was the gifts were unique, items you will not find in any other store. There was a book you fill out, answering questions about someone else, then you give it as a gift. It was called, "A Book About You." This would be a thoughtful present! They gave us a recyclable bag when we came in. We used it to shop then took it home. My friend purchased a few gifts and they wrapped them in tissue paper and added a bow to the bag. So nice! Service was excellent and check-out moved quickly. They have a rewards program which I joined as I know I will be going back soon!

A Nightmare. Took him over 2 weeks to replace glass on two works of art. When he finally finished…read morehe placed the glass incorrectly on top of the oil painting. When I took it back he incorrectly again placed a cheap piece of poorly cut glass into the frame which caused it to fracture and break over the painting. He totally butchered the job with sheer incompetence. I phoned and left a message about the situation which he never returned. At one point I called and asked if the pieces were ready to be picked up and he informed me that the glue was still drying??? Glue for what? Finally after he nearly destroyed the artwork I took it to Hobby Lobby where the fixed the piece in 25 minutes with professionalism.

If you need a mat cut in an oval shape, I recommend going somewhere else. Also, the customer…read moreservice was not ideal. I took an oval frame & 8x10 picture to Mikee's and asked him to cut the mat and put it all together. He quoted me a price of $51, which seemed pricey but I realized it's a Mom & Pop shop and I like to support local business. It was agreed that I would return the next Saturday to pick up the finished product. When I showed up, it wasn't finished. The owner was having trouble cutting the mat without a obvious defect on the bottom portion of the mat. He agreed to work on it some more. I returned a week later... it looked like nothing had been done to it at all. He stated that he had already cut 3-4 mats, all with the same result. I didn't want to wait another week for my framing to be finished (it was a gift), so I just said I would go with it. He actually charged me the full $51, and I now regret not asking for some kind of a discount. It certainly wasn't my fault that he couldn't deliver an acceptable product = a custom cut mat without defect. I would have never expected that poor quality from what is supposed to be a framing business. I will certainly never be taking my business to Mikee's again. Very disappointing.
