We were greeted upon arrival and this is a HUGE Hobby Town full of selections for young to old! It had so much and a lot of nostalgia toys too. I was amazed because I've been to a HT before but it was never this big and it usually was filled with nostalgia toys but not this one. It was awesome and everyone was able to grab something. I would give negative stars if available. I bought a starter RC car for my grandson on Saturday. He took it home to play with it. It lasted for about an hour before dying. He was extremely disappointed. He sent me a text saying that it failed Saturday evening, so I got to drive another 100+ miles on Sunday to return/ exchange it. When my grandson told the store clerk his story, he checked the battery and said it was dead. I asked the clerk, what do we do now? He said you'll need another battery. He said that this was a stronger battery, and it would last longer. He then handed the new battery to the cashier. The Cashier then scanned the new battery. I asked him " you're going to sell me a battery? He said "yes, we don't guarantee batteries." I asked, "even for 1 hour?" He said yes. I said that if I bought a new phone and it lasted for 1 hour do you think they would not replace it? He said that's different. Called corporate cust. service (402 434 5050), last Thursday, still have not received an answer. I think that all complaints should be brought to corporate to get their attention. This store does not care about you once they have taken your money. I will make future purchases at Amazon. The store should have to post a warning sign at the cash register. Have never had an issue with the staff or products!! They carry a lot of great RC stuff and have always been very helpful with anything I was looking for. I bought a Spektrum radio, batteries , a charger and a couple of planes from them and everything has been spot on!! Highly recommended!! read more

Extremely disappointed.. Bought a car on a Friday. Charge the battery for 7 hours, and played with the car for 5 minutes before it quit. Thought I might not have got the battery completely charged so I charged it again, same result. Did learn if you let the car set for about 5 minutes the car would magically start working again for about another 5 minutes. Store called the manufacturer and manufacturer said they didn't know what Was wrong. I identified the problem to the associate at the store. Was told I had to go back to the manufacture to resolve the problem. Didn't even have 30 minutes on the car. Update. Was contacted from a corporate location and told basically the same answer.. A car that I haven't got to use for 30 minutes. read more

Shopped here twice. The first time - 2015 - the clerks were rude and ignored me. The second time - this week - I bought a slot car track for my children. I tried to return or exchange it because it wasn't the track I needed, and they accused me of opening it. Then I was told I could only get store credit after they accused me of opening it - not something I was excited about considering the attitude I received for absolutely no reason. Will not be returning. If you're going to claim to be the only local toy store, don't be rude to your local customers. Next time, I'll go to Target. read more

Store is very spacey with a nice variety of RC and model supplies. Children's educational toy section is nice. Staff are exceptional. They not only assist while you are in the store but will help out over the phone as well. Dustin is extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the RC section. We have hobby shops closer but will travel the distance to be a loyal customer here. read more

Meh, like some small hobby shops the staff seems more interested in their back room projects than helping the customer. Its more of a toy store that has an RC section. Its kind of small but at least they had my tires. overall just ok. If hobby shops want to last in the internet age, they really have to up their customer service game. Staff is very friendly and at least one of them is knowledgeable in every department. I specifically and exclusively purchase Gundam models from this store. They usually have fresh stock brought in weekly and always have the supplies on hand to build. They have a huge variety of tools and paints for any variety of model building. I haven't explored it yet, but they have a massive selection of RC vehicles, parts, and accessories! I had seen a few reviews complaining about prices, hours, and staff. These seem like the exact opposite experiences I've always had at this wonderful local mom and pop shop. I would 100/10 recommend this store to anyone looking for model crafts, board games, puzzles, paints, and RC! read more
