Parking for the event was in one section and it was pretty tight but they did have parking assistants directing traffic which was nice. The manner in which the employer tables were arranged around the circular hallway was both smart and cool because job seekers were able to see all employers by simply walking the hallway. The signage for restrooms was confusing as many of them weren't open which was a bit frustrating and it would've been nice if there was a way to purchase or grab bottled water because it was hot inside. The overall experience in / at the arena was pretty middle of the road which is why the rating is 3 stars.

Sound quality was decent, but the overall experience could've been better... parking is a big headache here.. The roads are narrow and driving to the parking area Takes a long time... very expensive too.. had to park a mile away and walk from there.. Seating was narrow.. You cannot move to the left or right and you have to sit stand still. View to the stage was actually OK... seat numbers we're so confusing.. 216 row 1-4 wasn't from 216 . U had to throw 215 and then come down ! It was wierd . All snacks and drinks were super expensive inside... water bottle set for 7$ and a beer for 16$ !!!!! Yes u heard it right ! 16$ ! Absolutely overpriced ! Going in was also such a pain. Security guards don't allow handbags ! Nowhere in the world I have seen handbags not allowed ! And they do t give any valid reason ! We had to throw away any food items (which is ok) but the handbag not allowed was attrocious ! We had a good show though. Loved the concert ! Will never go back to any show here !

The suite was large with lots of seating and tvs to watch other games. There were elevators that lead to the suite. No stairs and wheel chair accessible, The stadium was so well run. Best seats with a view outdoors or in suite. It's very clean and parking is only $5. The mascots were fantastic. Because the stadium is small the interacted with everyone who wanted to meet them. Camera crews were all over the park put kids on the big screen. Lots of on field games and fun for kids. I have only one suggestion on what to avoid, the funnel cake. I had two friends get it. They drop it into a fryer frozen. It is not a normal Funnel cake. It was so hard you couldn't eat it Thank you the suite crew for the hospitality. It really was a wonderful experience.

You can hear the crack of the bat and the chatter from the dugout without straining. Baseball as it should be seen. The Delaware River runs right behind the outfield. On hot nights the breeze rolls in off the water. It cools the air, turns the place into something comfortable when the rest of New Jersey is sweating. That is not something you can engineer. That is geography being kind. Parking is easy. Five dollars. Cash only. Plentiful and close. In a world where stadium parking often feels like extortion, this is practically charity. The food is not just food. It is a catalog of local pride. Case's Pork Roll. Killarney's. Rita's Italian Water Ice. Raccoon Saloon. Alongside these sit Colbie's Southern Fried Chicken and Boomer's BBQ. If none of that calls to you there are still the old standards. Hot dogs. Pretzels. Popcorn. Nachos. The ballpark classics are covered. There is even a picnic area down the left field line for groups who want baseball and burgers in equal measure. The ballpark is easy to get to. Right on Route 29 by the riverfront. Quick access to 29, 129, I-195, and I-295. No mazes. No confusion. A night here is affordable, easy, and close to the event in every sense. Five stars.

I can't believe BSA is still going and it's pretty much been 30 years at this point since it first…read moreopened. I worked here for 5 of those 30 years and I believe it was either the first or second day that BSA opened that I started. I worked here as an arcade attendant, skate guard and even helped out with parties. If I could tell you some of the crazy stories and secrets, I would, but I don't want to put them in this review. I ended up leaving when they wanted me to start helping with construction, something I had no experience doing nor was I looking to start doing. The good news is I made many friends from here, that I still see or talk to today. Including my very first hockey coach and one of my old (and first) managers! My best experiences there were with the hockey leagues, in particular the youth leagues. They are ran very well and continue to be ran well from what I can gather. There is a lot of focus on these leagues because that is where the money is, so the kids get priority on ice time as well as a lot of focus on improvements of skills on the ice. I did spend 10 years there in the adult leagues, some times were good and some times were bad. We eventually moved our team when games were getting too late and the league director kept giving us a schedule 3 months at a time instead of a full season schedule, which is what we needed. From what I hear, they addressed this by now splitting up the "Winter Season" and you are getting less games for a full season but an extra season out of it. The one thing we did enjoy was the number of games and double elimination playoffs. The last league director who we dealt with, Brian, was very fair and a good guy. He moved on. I'm not sure who is the director now, but last I heard it was the same one who ran Flemington a few years ago and he was fairly good as well. So you are probably getting a fairly organized adult league. Our biggest issues were with the abusive referees and the horrible ice. We literally had referees that no other rink wanted (they were banned from those rinks and one was even a college level ref that was also banned from doing Princeton games) that called penalties on one of our players because "He was black and didn't belong on the ice". This infuriated us and when we brought it up to BSA management, they shrugged their shoulders and told us to talk to USA Hockey about this. Our other issues were with the ice. We loved the blue rink but the red rink would fall apart every 2-3 years and would need to be re-done as such. They could never figure this out. A few of us broke skates and skate blades because the ice actually got down to the surface. It was pretty bad (This also happened to me while public skating). The small rink (what was known as the orange rink) was fantastic. I always enjoyed some personal time on there, be it for myself and a friend or with my teammates. I did like the pro-shop there because often times, I'd find a stick or something else I needed that other local shops would not have. Plus their skate sharpening was always done right for me. I'd often go out of the way for this and only come to BSA. Arcades remain outdated last time I was there. I was surprised to see so many arcades still there from the 90s and also surprised to see how many were out of order. Most of these used to be easily fixable back in the day. I never did experience the laser tag but I heard it's pretty good, so give this a shot if you have a party there. As for the food, I wasn't a fan of "Villa Pizza" or whatever they call it now. Most of the food was sitting out there for a while, though if you timed it just right, you may have gotten a nice and greasy re-heated pizza that would taste fresh. Perhaps the chocolate cookies are still fresh, that was about my extent of what I'd eat at that place. If you were going public skating or doing open hockey, I'd strongly suggest that you call ahead of time and just make sure you know the correct times for each of these! Also, for public skating, bring your own skates. The skate rental skates are hit or miss. Some of them have been there for many years! I'd say an average review is about right for BSA. There's good and there's bad. Overall, I don't regret any time spent there and maybe one day I'll be back for a skate or visit.

My experience with the Rockets Hockey Club was extremely disappointing…read more In spring 2025, I paid more than $9,000 for my son to play goalie on the 2025-26 Junior Elite team. The team practiced only six times between September 2 and September 11. On September 15, my son was notified by text that the season was canceled. I received no explanation and initially received little communication from the organization. Despite my requests to stop payments, another tuition payment was processed. After weeks of emails, I was eventually offered a $6,000 refund. I attempted to negotiate a more appropriate refund but was told to accept it or leave it. When I indicated I would pursue legal action, the owner, David Gibson, responded by email with a list of people he characterized as "lawsuit losers." I subsequently filed a Special Civil Part case and received a default judgment. The defendants later moved to vacate the judgment. During that process, their attorney negotiated a settlement with me. We agreed on an amount, and I was told the agreement would be held in escrow until payment was received. I never received the agreed payment. The default judgment was subsequently vacated, leaving me to pursue the matter again. I have also personally spoken with three other families from this team who say they did not receive refunds. This review reflects my personal experience and is based on emails, payment records, court documents, and other records I have retained. I encourage anyone considering the Rockets to carefully understand the financial and refund terms before committing. I'm looking into additional legal actions. Families who believe they experienced a similar financial loss can contact me at Rocketskeptmymoney2@gmail.com

I was lucky enough to get my large bag in, they do check all the bags, large and small. I recommend bringing less items. I was coming from work so I had a laptop with me, but cleared everything else in the bag and left them in the office, so it's not too bad to go through the securities. They did say not to bring large bags in the emails before the concert, but since i went after work and will be working from home the next day, I didn't want to have to head into the office, so I kind of just tried it and was glad I got through since they weren't too strict that day. I did hear from my friend that her friend had to pay $15 for someone to watch the bag for Ariana's concert before, so I guess it just depends on the concert. Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the concert (and was super lucky to get a seat upgrade). Great vibes, cool space and nice crowd.

The food, branding, and music programming reflect a newer era than MSG, Prudential Center, or The Xfinity Center, when cultural identity became part of the venue itself. Atlantic Terminal makes the location outstanding, while the building still feels fresh and current. Even the Nets' black and white identity and merch are among my favorites in sports. Jay-Z is the experience I will always associate most deeply with this building. I saw him shortly after Barclays opened and returned for another tour, and as a lifelong massive hip hop fan, seeing Hov perform blocks from where he grew up was one of the best nights of my life. Jay is 56, I am 41, and Drake is 39, which matters because people my age were buying Jay-Z albums, watching his videos, and following his rise while we were coming of age. Chicago, where my roots are, also feels culturally closer to New York in this context: Bulls and Knicks before Bulls and Raptors, with East Coast hip hop woven into that era. Drake is absolutely a superstar in his own right, and I would be stoked to see him at the Garden again. My preference for Jay at Barclays is praise for one of hip hop's godfathers performing in his native neighborhood, not a knock on anyone else. I have seen Bruce Springsteen in New Jersey and understand how powerful that homecoming energy can be, but Jay means considerably more to me personally. Seeing him command Barclays in Brooklyn was mind-blowing because the artist, the music, and the geography all belonged together. Basketball works extremely well here too. I did the Nets courtside experience with food before the game for roughly $400 to $500, and it felt like an excellent splurge. That range is about my ceiling for a regularly accessible sports experience, roughly the same mental category as a serious dinner at Brooklyn Fare excluding alcohol, tax, and tip. I have also done the Yankees Legends experience through corporate tickets, which was cool, but premium sports hospitality gets stupid expensive quickly. Ally Love was such a smart choice as the Nets host because she captured the version of Brooklyn Barclays understands so well. To me, Ally is Black athletic urban fashion with music and dance at the core; fitness and team sports complete the picture, from basketball to studio cycling. Elaine Welteroth represents Black creative urban fashion and Manhattan media; Michelle Obama brings Princeton, law, and government; Coco Gauff and the Williams sisters connect elite Black women's sport to New York through the US Open. Ally's Fordham background adds another New York layer, and she is gorgeous and magnetic while still feeling natural, wholesome without being square, and polished without losing her edge. Music has given me several other memorable nights here, including The Black Keys, who absolutely slayed and sounded fantastic. I also attended SOURCE360 for The Source's 25th anniversary, with The Diplomats and Lil' Kim among the performers and Wu Tang Clan headlining, knowing multi-artist anniversary shows can get messy. This was basically a giant hip hop party: we got faded, had fun, and I would happily go back to another Source event. Local names like Cafe Habana and Junior's Cheesecake further the sense that Barclays wants Brooklyn and New York culture inside the building. Ultimately, Barclays does an unusually good job holding different Brooklyns together. Old school and new school, sports and music, longtime Black cultural influence and newer wealth all coexist here, while nearby Kith feels like an almost perfect parallel brand. The arena feels sophisticated without sanding off the borough's personality. I have had premium basketball seats, messy hip hop nights, and transcendent concerts here, but Jay-Z performing in Brooklyn remains the perfect expression of why I think Barclays Center is so damn cool.
