I drive past this arena often and wonder if it's ever used but last night it was! Saw Jeff Dunham. We had floor seats. Everyone couldn't wait to stand up because of how uncomfortable they were and how packed in we were. We didn't use the bathrooms or buy concessions but I heard it was $16 a beer. I was glad I opted for a small purse because big ones weren't allowed. There is a metal detector and purse check so be smart about what you bring. Parking was also $20 which felt a little excessive for Trenton.

The cure arena was a stable establishment to say the least, the temperature in the stadium was immaculate The girl next to me did have pit stains although I couldn't smell them so it was OK. I was welcomed warmly by a guy with a quite large chest but he had a nice blue T-shirt on and he directed me to the gate with less people so that I can get in calm and safely. So far sitting here the sound system sounds okay sitting relatively close to the stage I can hear all of it but it is a little muffled. When I went to the bathroom it did smell like sewer although they were really stocked with toilet paper so that made up for it. I would definitely recommend sitting closer to the stage because the chairs are a little more comfortable (added this to the fellow people with rear end problems like myself )

This was my first time at this arena. I took my young daughter here to see a JoJo Siwa concert. The location isn't in the best neighborhood but there was tons of security and we felt very safe the entire time. The staff were super helpful in accommodating all of our needs and everyone was very friendly. The sound system was great and so were the seats. Arena bathrooms are always iffy but both the women's rooms we stopped in were clean. The food offered was basic with limited options but it all smelled and looked great. I would gladly attend another event here.

We are here to see the circus. The good news is the facility is small so it is an excellent place to see a show or sporting event. The bad news is it is small so the logistics are not that great. The parking situation is really bad and the entry process is slow and disorganized. Finally it is located in downtown Trenton. What else do I have to say... The bottom line is this is a great place for the actual event. However all of the things surrounding the event leave much to be desired.

Parking is terrible here, especially for a big event. Went here for the Boys Basketball NJSIAA Tournament of Champions. We parked a few blocks away. ($10) No shuttle. Fortunately it wasn't raining, just cold. They do have VIP parking closer to the building. There were plenty of police and crossing guards to guide you in the right direction. This is an old building, from the 80's or earlier. Box office is outside to the right. There were a lot of people there. It was overwhelming, but we found where we wanted to sit and joined the rest of the crowd cheering on the Roselle Catholic Lions! Acoustics where great! Seats were clean and not uncomfortable. Plenty of junk food options. Expensive, but I had some tots from Sonic so I was good to go. Bathrooms were clean and had toilet paper, always a plus. It's easy to get to from Rt. 1 South. Just follow the directions to get home safely.

This was my first time visiting this venue, which is only eleven years old. The large circular brick building holds stage performances for concerts, top sporting events such as finals for women's basketball, hockey, local basketball teams and family friendly entertainment like the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and The Harlem Globetrotters. Sesame Street's, "When Elmo Grows Up" is playing now along with other events like Martina McBride, Daughtry and Carrie Underwood. Some of the greats have performed here from Cher, Elton John, Springsteen, Shania Twain and Luciano Pavarotti. Allow yourself extra time to arrive at the Sun as it is right past the Trenton train tracks which backs up traffic, especially at intersections, makes you flip the bird, roll down your window and scream idiot or worse and creates fender benders for the very impatient! I happened to notice side parking lots 5-9 off the side streets and decided to stop fighting the traffic and made a quick turn. These are unmanned after they collect their dough and the event starts. Parking is available in lots directly across the street from the center. There are three gates to get inside and only one box office and of course I came upon the farthest gate from the will call window and it was pouring down a cold windy rain. We had originally walked up to the gate closest to our seats but once inside the gate near the box office we got our exercise jogging the circle to get back to where our seats were. This is where I wished I had paid better attention on the food stands around this very large circle, as they are duplicated in every section. I waited thirty minutes in a very crowded and slow line to get one order of fries. When I was leaving the event, this same concession stand was twice as busy and you could not even squeeze by, laughing I noticed very short formed lines at the duplicate concessions around the courtyard. Now I know! Seats were comfortable and the rows count down instead of up, so when you are in row E don't get too excited because row A is at the very top. With the size of the place and the crowds I think it is safe to say they used the entire alphabet for rows of seating. The lighting is great, you can view the event from televisions throughout the building and where the event is being held they have huge close up screens. Vendors come around with cotton candy and drinks, wine and beer is served in the courtyard. Food ranges from popcorn, funnel cakes, hamburgers, hot dogs, cheesesteaks to chili fries and sausage sandwiches with peppers and onions. Two scary "fathers"? with two different young boys who were terrified to be with these guys still haunts me, I need to become braver and ask the children if they are okay?! Now that I have the smarts on this venue which seats over 10,000 folks I will be back and enjoy it a whole lot more.

Since Yelp deleted my previous review posted on March 25, 2018; I'll post a "modified" version to prevent offending any snowflakes. WORST arena I have ever been to. Came here for a WWE event back in June of 2017 and didn't have any major complaints (only that this arena is a completely outdated, old, crusty dump) so I purchased tickets to another WWE Live show for last night 3/24/18. My seats were Floor 1-Row 1, seats 11 & 12. Apparently, even though I had front row floor seats, this arena doesn't consider you "front row" unless you're in Floor 2, 4, 6 or 8. So, you're out of luck if you purchase other floor seats. There was a security guard blocking our row the entire show. He kept standing for no reason, pushing people back as if we were trying to jump over the barrier. He had no idea how WWE events work in the sense that superstars WANT to interact with all the front row attendees. He kept questioning the other security guards as to what was going on. Kept pushing & yelling at little kids to get back to their seats. If you moved a foot away from your seat, he pushed you back. Blocked my view numerous times because he just had to stand for no reason and refused to sit even though he had a chair. Mind you, there's already a security check upon entering the building so I'm not sure what he thought was gonna happen. I have never been so dissatisfied and disgusted with an arena in my life. Mind you, I just went to Madison Square Garden where the security is normal, not rude, and knows how to do their job without being clueless as to how some shows operate. Never returning to this arena again.

    This. Water. Bottle is $4.50!

The food is not just food. It is a catalog of local pride. Case's Pork Roll. Killarney's. Rita's Italian Water Ice. Raccoon Saloon. Alongside these sit Colbie's Southern Fried Chicken and Boomer's BBQ. If none of that calls to you there are still the old standards. Hot dogs. Pretzels. Popcorn. Nachos. The parking situation was probably the most disappointing, on the website and in person they are very shady about where you can park. The theater itself does not have parking, and you are allowed to park in a no parking zone...supposedly.
