Super cute spot in the middle of Nashville, IN's famous Brown County shops. You might have a bit of a wait but it is worth it. Friendly waitress and very tasty food. We had lunch and were pleased that everyone in our party of four could find something of interest. Don't miss desert,

Being unfamiliar with this area, I truly followed my nose to this restaurant. The smell that came from this place was phenomenal. We were walking up the street and I said wherever that is coming from is where we're going to eat LOL. On the corner this civil war structure was our destination. We went inside and they took our name the seating probably took about 20 minutes but definitely was worth it you can look around and feel the history. The staff were nice informational and inviting. The waitresses on the floor we're hustling and the food was coming out by the armfuls. The suggestion was the roast beef sandwich, it is their specialty and it did not disappoint. It was truly luscious, flavorful and tender. Anytime that you go to this quaint little town of Nashville, make sure you stop in and have lunch at hobnob corner..

Good food and wonderful service. We are sad to see this iconic restaurant closing. You just feel the history when you walk in the door.

Very quaint. Old building in the fun downtown area of Nashville. I got the tomato chipotle soup, which was very good. It came with bread - also good. The mixed veggies were tasty - broccoli and potatoes. I must admit that the grilled cheese was meh. It was a toddler grilled cheese. White bread. Processed American cheese. Fine for a toddler. But for a $10 sandwich off the regular menu, I was not impressed. But I did enjoy the ambiance and I would come back. I just would not get the grilled cheese.

Hobnob corner is an iconic restaurant with a deep history. The building is 160 years old and is the oldest commercial building in Nashville. The building has served as a general store, grocery, drugstore and now restaurant. The fourth generation of the Miller family now runs the restaurant. I've dined at the restaurant several times over the years and always enjoyed my meal. If you arrive peak lunch hour, you can expect to wait for a table. Today, my husband and I had an amazing breakfast. The menu has standard country breakfast options and they also have a few specials. I had the Hill Country breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked, velvety and fresh. The bacon is good. The amazing onion dill bread is made in house and what I ordered for toast. They provided two local jams - apricot and strawberry. There was also a side of biscuits and gravy. The food is delicious. I think this is the best breakfast place in Brown County. My husband had one of the fresh cinnamon rolls. Wow! It was huge and sugary syrup dripped as he pulled it apart. The pecans on top were fresh-fresh! He said it was "Damn good". Mariam was our server. She was friendly and told us about all the in-house pastries. She kept waters filled and brought extra plates so we could share. Mariam was a 5 stars server. In the evening, you can have wine with your meal. They have an assortment of nice wines. The building is OLD. I didn't see an entrance that didn't have steps for accessibility. I'm not sure if there is a back entrance. The unisex restrooms are tight but nice. Parking is always a challenge in Nashville. I try to get there early to find the best parking. Hobnob is a must-try if you are in Nashville.

Super cool older building. Staff was very nice. It gets very busy. We had about a 10 min wait at 9:30 on a Sunday. By the time we left it was very busy. The food was great and so was the service. We both got the hash but I got mine with smoker brisket. I highly recommend their breakfast.

Classic diner food. Very busy during the fall season. Service did the best they could I believe with how busy they were and everything tasted fine. My eggs were cooked perfectly. Food could be used a bit of seasoning/love.

Charming small town restaurant with surprisingly refined flavors. There is clearly someone in the BOH who takes pride in cooking. Broccolini and apple infused sauerkraut?? Micro greens? These ingredients would not be amiss in a posh pop up in a city. 150 year old building that you dine in is also cool. Worth the stop.

My wife and I travel from Fishers to Nashville IN frequently. One place we always stop is Hobnob Corner to get a loaf of their homemade Onion Dill Bread. OMG..... This bread is awesome. Definitely 5 Star. Get there early. Sometimes the bread sells out. If you don't want a whole loaf to take home, you can order hot Onion Dill Rolls as part of your meal. Today we decided to stay for a late lunch. I was surprised to see the Hobnob Corner so busy on a slow winter day in Nashville. I ordered the Open-Faced Turkey and my wife ordered the Pepper Steak Soup special. She absolutely loved the soup and ate the whole bowl. (I was hoping that she would leave a taste for me). The Open-Faced Turkey was good, but just okay. The bacon combined with tomato solidified the flavor. Overall, the food at Hobnob Corner is very good and one of the Nashville's top Restaurants. Excellent food quality, good ambiance, and great severs. Maybe a tad on the "pricey" side. If you are a Liver and Onions fan, give this Hobnob entrée a try. A hard dish to get right, but they "nail it". The Hobnob Corner gets busy and they don't take reservations. Go early or perhaps on a weekday.

The room still harkens back to it's pharmacy roots

Hobnob Corner is the perfect place to get a quintessential meal that is fully in keeping with the town's rustic aesthetic. The menu is straightforward fare with sandwiches, soups, salads, and the like. Nothing that is really going to surprise you and I didn't have anything that let me down. Looking around the open room, the restaurant is proud of its pharmacy heritage and calls back to it almost as loudly as the floorboards that squeak as patrons and waitstaff make their way around the tables. Easy to find, easy to find seating, and easy to enjoy!

    Menu farewell

This place was awesome. You better get here soon because they are about to close forever. I'll post pictures with the seasonal menu that tells the story.

Hobnob Corner in the heart of Nashville, Indiana is in a historic building which makes your visit truly special. When you walk in, you feel like you're going back in time and can appreciate the simplicity of earlier times. My wife and I had a great first experience. Our server was friendly and warm, and checked on us often. The menu is somewhat simple, but still offers a good variety of starters, salads, entrees, and desserts. The food is delicious - with that home cooked feel and fresh ingredients, you can't go wrong.

Quick lunch here didnt let us down. I've been coming to Hobnob since I was a kid, and have visited many times over the years. Whether you want lunch, a baked good, or a nice dinner, it is consistently good. I wish we lived closer to come back and have a slower evening meal with wine. Kids meals include a cookie, which is fun :)

The restaurant is upstairs with an enchanting rustic lodge decor with light from the Inns courtyard where you can sit and watch hummingbirds flock around feeders while you dine. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. The fish sandwich was huge, breaded perfectly and fried to crisp perfection. The pork nachos were heaped with Smokey chunks of pulled pork, melted cheese, homemade chips, delicious sauce. The fried chicken was crunchy, not greasy with real mashed potatoes and savory green beans. The breaded cauliflower wings with a sweet and spicy chili sauce packed a delicious sweet heat that was complimented by the ranch dressing that our waitress recommended. The accompanying fries were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. We got a carry out of the Nashville fried biscuits with apple butter. Again, it was so delicious, don't leave without taking a carry out and you will need a carry out because the portions are huge and after dinner you won't have room for dessert but you don't want to pass these fried biscuits up.

I had anticipated my visit for a little while now but I can imagine I'd be delighted to find this spot on an adventure through the area. The vast plant nursery was also delightfully unexpected. The inside of the Farmhouse is just like a farmhouse, with the most charming interior that feels like Thanksgiving dinner with a collection of all the tables and chairs that you could find in your house to host everyone. First course, delightfully unexpected, was queso and chips! Free of charge, we were served a nice Rotel-style queso dip with multigrain chips. Yum! The tea selection is nice, it's all bagged teas that you get a small pot of. I got a salted caramel tea. Delish! Delightfully unexpected! I got the chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips. I love a chicken salad sandwich and this one hits the spot. We split a slice of peach pie for dessert that was just lovely and warmed up for us. All courses arrived pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend a stop to the Farm House on your trips to Brown County. I hope I can make more road trips in my future plans as soon as I can so I can visit again!
