Located on the main drag in Hochatown, this massive restaurant/bar was our go to on a Thursday night when looking for a spot to enjoy a few drinks. We walked in wanting to sit at the bar, and after telling the person at the front desk, they happily helped us adjust some chairs around and make friends with other people sitting at the bar to get two seats together. I really appreciated that they went farther than just saying sure find it yourself. The bartender was excellent. She was working hard but still friendly and funny. We didn't eat (wasn't the plan for the night) but would come back for dinner for sure after a glance at the menu. read more

This place was near our cabin and I heard many compliments on tik tok so we decided to come on over. They are open pretty late on weekends and pretty busy even in what I consider off season for the area so we had a little wait which I don't mind. The only bad part of my meal was the cheese sticks. We returned those as they had a very off taste. They also use Swiss instead of mozzarella which I don't see too often. The wings and the club sandwich were really good though! There are two bars, one upstairs and one downstairs and little activities such as pool to play. I'll be honest, I had the Malibu drink and thought it was a little weak but not a bad beverage. Our waiter was great and I did my best to make sure he knew we weren't upset with him. We came in as a family of 7 people at 9:45am to eat breakfast and sat outside with our two dogs. At 11:08 we went inside and just told the waiter we'll pay for our drinks and leave. In looking at the tables inside, I'm not sure what the issue was with our food taking so long, but they really weren't that busy. My complaint is that not once did a Manager ever come by to apologize or to see how we were doing. I had high hopes for this place but between the over hour wait for our food and the kitchen not knowing what they're doing, I wouldn't recommend coming here. This is too fun of a place to let it be such a disappointment so the Manager really needs to listen to these complaints and read these reviews. We decided to choose this place based on how close it was to our location. We were greeted promptly and sat after 15 min due to our party size which was 10. The food was not good, it was bland. It wasn't only one plate it was several. Our waitress was ok we did have to hunt her down a couple of times. Waited longer than necessary to be seated and once we got to our table, it was right next to the beverage station for waitstaff to fill plastic cups with ice...yay! We ordered the southwest egg rolls as an appetizer and they were pretty good. For our meal we had a club sandwich with onion rings, French dip with mac and cheese and the chicken fried steak with mac and cheese. The club was nothing to write home about, more bread than anything else, the "prime rib" on the French dip was tough, the onion rings were room temperature at best but the chicken fried steak was the best out of all the meals we ordered but it was over $20. This is more a bar atmosphere over a restaurant. It is loud with obnoxious drunk people yelling at the bar while loud music is coming from outside. We went for dinner, ordered at 7pm but did not get our appetizers until 8:00pm. We ordered two appetizers. The cheese sticks had a great taste but were cold and the pretzel rolls had a ton of salt and were mediocre. When we finally got our entree at 8:45 pm the chicken fried steak was decent. Our server was sweet but the kitchen cant keep up. We also saw people get their food well before we did and they were seated after we ordered. I don't write reviews much but thought I needed to. I just had the worst diarrhea ever. My stomach hurts so bad. The food was so cold but I don't like to complain so my husband and I didn't say anything. Host, well he shouldn't be a host he didn't make us feel welcomed. I honestly don't care about that but since I'm already writing a review I'm mentioning it. They have too many waiters working so everyone's just lounging around. Menu was dirty. Bathroom stunk. Visited on Sunday and while waiting the 45 minute wait for a table we decided to go in the gift shop to take a look. We walked around a few minutes and as we get to the exit we stopped to look at the pink bride items they had. I noticed a man and the cashier staring at us. We walk out to join the rest of our party still waiting on the deck. The cashier runs out after us yelling at my friend accusing him of stealing magnets. He had his car key fob in his hand. We ordered at 12:25 and she said you may want to have a different option in mind the kitchen manager might turn the breakfast order away. A soda was spilled and we cleaned the mess up ourselves. we had the napkins and empty glass sitting at the open seat at the end of the table. when she came by she looked at it, we apologized and asked for another drink. She left the mess at the end of the table instead of taking it. We had to ask 4 times for the replacement drink before finally getting it when we were almost done eating. overall The food tasted great and we loved the location. Just wasnt great service and the racial profiling of us (all hispanic) in the gift shop just rubbed us the wrong way. read more
