I was a last minute request right after the recent tropical storm, and Ed went out of his way to make sure we had a pristine boat cleaned, fueled and ready to go without a hitch. Ed met us right at the parking lot (free parking by the way!) with his deckhand Griffin (also fantastic) and they helped haul our gear down to the dock and load it on to the boat and in to the coolers. Ed gave us a nice tutorial of the brand new electric throttle vessel.. and within minutes... get this.. they shuttle us out of the narrow slip to the open edge because it is tight quarters. Never quite seen such service! Me and one of my best friends were out for about 6 hours and had a fantastic time. Griffin (the deck hand I mentioned) met us at the edge of the slips and took care of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. They of course meet you on the way back in as well because they don't want their members to stress about docking in the tight slips!! I was amazed. We only had to take our phones and our backpack. No worrying about trash, empties, fuel nothing. Thumbs up guys! Look forward to next time!!

Over 3 days, we explored the Maine Locke system, Long Lake and the amazing fireworks. The total was about $2500 but completely worth while. This was the best and last week of summer. Or they will cook them for you to eat at a dockside picnic table and watch the lobsters being unloaded, weighed, and held until retailers pick them up. We ordered a just a pound of clams and a 1.5 lb lobster and butter to share. You can also purchase some sides and drinks. In hindsight we could have brought our own bread, salad and wine or beer and that would have been OK. But the seafood was enough for us. Very low key, no frills, and the lobster couldn't be fresher. Love that kind of place for half the price of a lobster roll somewhere much fancier. We'll be back.

There are others with a larger compliment of services, but since I have REO as my boat yard and Marine repair service, Sunset has exactly what I need. -They have well maintained Dock & Gangways -The shore power & water lines are first rate -Bathrooms & laundry are spic & span 100% -Allow outside maintenance to come work on your boat -Extra dingy dock available -Transportation carts for your stuff always available -Marine equipment and beverages always stocked -Fuel is the cheapest in Casco Bay!!! -Long term clientele who are welcoming to new members, very helpful and very friendly -Dan & Elaine are great business people.
