Century Flooring came up first and even though there was only one review at the time, the pictures of the completed floors were as a thousand words! Unbelievably stunning. I called and spoke with Franky Fofiu, owner of the company. He came out the next day and gave me his estimate. I hired him on the spot. Two days later, he and his employee, Albert, showed up and went to work. 8 hours later, a masterpiece had been installed (2 bedrooms). The finished job exceeded our expectations. It was unbelievably gorgeous - perfect in every way. We couldn't be happier. They treated our home as if it were theirs. We can't thank them enough. Anyone we know who is thinking about hardwood installation will get Century Flooring's name and number. I doubt that there would be any who could do a better job. So, I happened to go to TSC and noticed Phil's Carpet. I went inside and was introduced to Eddie -a sales representative. Eddie was great at listening to my needs. A true people person. After getting 12 samples and some additional information, I was able to proceed. I paid half down and balance at the end. Phil's is not an absolute store but a flexible one. Next, Eddie worked miracles with scheduling and I got an early morning install. Roberto and Axel came at the promised time to the second! After a few minutes of viewing the area to be carpeted, Roberto went to work. Padding down carpeting down and it was over. Quality assurance was performed from start to finish. There were no loose fibers to be seen. In all, Phil's Carpet is one of the best flooring stores in our area. I would go to Phil's before trying Knoxville stores. Finally , I have to have my kitchen hardwood replaced and I WILL go to Phil's Carpet for my job. Yes, they install hardwood .

Paul came out, measured, and gave me a quote which I agreed and we set the date for my carpet installation. On the day before the date we set, I texted to confirm. Paul responded that he was 'under the weather', but would be there the next day. Fortunately, I left myself a grace day. At 10:00 the night before, Paul texted me to say that he couldn't do the job, and that he didn't have any alternatives to offer. I don't know if this was just an isolated incident, or if this is just the way this guy operates his business, but my suggestion is to beware. I wish I was more aware before I relied on his word.
