The attic gas furnace was inspected an cleaned and all in working order. It is 17 years old. He took a picture of the board to show me the only possible area that may or may not ever cause trouble. I will definately use Comfort Services in the Spring for the AC check up and any other service I need for my gas appliances. This is a highly trustworthy company that doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. I have had other services that tried to scam me. Trust is a big part of the service and keeps customers like me coming back.

The service person changed all the filters in the house, and diagnosed a failing part on the AC unit. Communication was easy with people at their firm. The technicians communicated with us and were not in a hurry when discussing our questions. We had been looking for a company and one of our neighbors uses Blue Ridge. Spoke with the technician who was servicing our neighbor. He gave me a card and I called the firm several days later after looking at on-line reviews. Technician came out and suggested we consider new equipment due to its age, and some very obvious problems. He actually made suggestions on not spending more money. Scheduled the following week to replace the equipment. Two technicians arrived to install new equipment. They were very responsive to questions and made suggestions on saving some money. The condensate pump had tripped the night before and left a small trail of water on the floor. The breaker had tripped and the pump was not operating. Testing the pump we discovered it was barely, if at all, working. We at this point were glad they were at our place. All of the work looks like showroom quality. The technicians obviously were conscientious about their work and took pride in their workmanship. They cleaned the work areas. We had, overall, a good experience. We certainly recommend Blue Ridge, and suggest looking at the amount of very positive reviews.

That's right, basically a glorified walk-in closet with dreams. We requested a simple 110/120v unit, nothing fancy, just something to keep us from melting in the summer or freezing into popsicles in the winter. You know, the basics. The quote? $5,212. FIVE. THOUSAND. TWO HUNDRED. TWELVE. DOLLARS. I wasn't asking for the gold-plated, whisper-quiet, sings-you-to-sleep-at-night model... just something that plugs in and blows air. So yeah. Message received. You don't want the job. And that's okay. But hey, future buyers--consider this your "tiny home, big invoice" PSA.

Trane has dropped some of their quality and we had to pay for labor 2 years after on one unit bec Trane manufacturing dropped the ball on welding. Wasn't happy about that. We also had a commercial unit installed around same time and that too was poor workmanship for Trane. We found Air Tech to be more reasonable on their pricing.

They installed a whole house HVAC unit from scratch in our 150 year old house. The work was done quickly and the workers were polite, respectful of our home, as quiet as they could be, and nice to our dog. We really appreciated that they weren't yelling across the house, there was no cursing (which in my experience is pretty common). We also really appreciated that they were careful not to damage our belongings, despite my house being in utter disarray at the time, and they even vacuumed up the dust from the drywall when they cut the necessary holes in the ceiling. When we had a small problem, the owner was quick to respond and fix it himself. I can't say enough good things about our experience with this company!
