Now we get to the part where they get part of my vocational award and ppd award... not only are they nickel and diming me...$30 per check plus 30% plus random deductions that cant even be explained.... now I'm being ignored when I asked for complete itemized receipts of exactly what deductions are being taken. They also charge you interest after 30 days even though you can't request the full amount for 70 days and they know this and do this on purpose just part of the nickel and dime effect.. I'm told "its not much because they request the full amount at 70 days" so they only get 40 days of interest you have zero control over... When I question the missing money is I am basically threatened that they can technically take more that they are being "fair". I'm sorry but I should have full access and proof of where my money is going. Especially for a less than mediocre experience. I could have gotten the same amounts myself. Now I'm being ignored when asking for proof of where missing money is going. Tried by email and phone. Itemized receipts should be sent without issue they are in any other instance. Go with a smaller law firm... you're not important and you're just another paycheck to them...

Shortly after maybe less than a day the same assistant called me back with an entirely different energy - saying my case was complicated almost blaming me for the injury, previous injuries etc. I've learned in this setting with work place attorneys there are two types. One that says your case is complicated and doesn't think it's worth much money to them. And the other that understands this is money that is rightfully yours and will actually fight for you. This place is the first type. I've been at odds with the state even after my initial injury just to get the surgery. That time I was three or four weeks it was 14 months. These guys did nothing. They sent in the required documents to State. They were representing me and that's as far as it went. My surgeon did more to push. L&I for surgery. Out of frustration, I began to look for another Attorney, and attempted to fire this one. Instead, the Attorney, I worked with, it should be noted not the namesake of this company, threatened to bill me, stating it would "need to be paid immediately". But prior to that, one of their assistance, advised me incorrectly on the time I would be needing to begin filing for time loss, and end my Unemployment Insurance, which I was on after being let go because I could not perform the job duties at the place of injury. That cost me over $3000 in Overpayment. But the final nail in the straw was a little further down the road, still less than six months after the surgery, where the vocational counselor I was assigned, went behind my back to the surgeon, and got him to OK part-time work at the job place of injury, the same when I was laid off from, to work 20 hours per week, even though the APF contradicted it. And the way the system works, my legal representation gets all of those communications before I do, and then they are supposed to get it back to me. They never contacted me, but their office was sending me the copies of these letters. For 16 days I reached out and called, nothing back. My emails were not just to him, but another assistant that was supposed to be directly working with me for him. Finally, I had no other choice to end that relationship. As soon as I did, within an hour, I was getting the voicemails, emails, like a little child, saying "I was sick" and that was his reason for not doing anything. Because of this, they failed to do their job and represent me and protect me. I lost my time loss, I am unable to work, my condition has deteriorated even further because the surgery was botched, but I found real, legal representation that is fighting the state. My advice to use if you find yourself here looking at this company I understand your pain. But I highly recommend keep looking. They seem overwhelmed, the best I ever got response wise back from them was 3 to 4 weeks. My new Attorney, the one cleaning up their mess, I get a response back same day or very early the next day. There's never a question about what's happening with my case, I'm involved and I understand exactly where it's moving.
