We have all had a bad day and on one of my recent bad days, I backed up my dad's mini SUV into my little Corolla and damaged the driver's side door so much that I could no longer open it from that side. I was massively stressed out about it and reached out to at least 6 different places to try to get estimates and figure out how much the damage would cost me to fix. These were both older cars with high mileage, so I really didn't want to have to go through insurance if I could avoid it. I got wildly different estimates from other places, all astronomical for what the damage was even on my dad's suv which had only minor damage, and no one had availability to get in for a fix for at least 3 months, which was rough. On the rec of a co-worker, called Hoffman, who told me to come in immediately and gave me a super reasonable estimate that same day (a Saturday), AND said they could start the repairs on Monday and had already ordered the parts needed. My mind was blown. I was able to get both cars fixed in under a week for under $4k out of pocket, which was nothing short of a miracle to me. They did an exact color paint match to my car and even almost 6 months later, have had no chipping, just absolute perfection in the finish. Hoffman Collision is reasonably priced, reliable, highly communicative, will work on older cars (unlike many other Autobody shops) and has a lifetime paint guarantee. I would come back here anytime (and actually did recently when I had some minor issues with my trunk no longer latching.) I am new to the area and had no idea where to go for Autobody work and read reviews on Yelp about Hoffman's, which is why I chose this place. I'm not normally one to write reviews, but my experience with them was stellar! Backstory: my teenage son accidentally scratched our car along side a pole while trying to park in a garage in downtown Nashville. There was a slight indentation on the doorside of the car with the paint scratched of In multiple spots (back fender, both passenger side doors and side view mirror). I took the car in on Saturday morning, which was convenient with my work schedule. and I got a an estimate which was extremely reasonable. I dropped the car off on Monday morning thinking it would be ready by Thursday , but they called me a day earlier (Wed morning) to let me know it was ready to be picked up. They did a fantastic job in removing the dent and painting over the scratch you would never know anything ever happened to the car. An added bonus is they cleaned my car both inside and out prior to me picking it ups. The excellent workmanship, in conjunction with the cost to fix it and it being ready earlier than expected and overall great customer service, I would highly recommend this body shop based on my experience with them. read more

Got some denting and scratches on my Mazda, and went to about 6 shops around Nashville looking for a good price. Hoffman's came back at a MUCH lower price, and was 1/2 the price of Service King for the same exact maintenance. I had a very negative experience with Hoffman Collision. At the end of the summer I brought my 2013 Land Rover in for new bumper after a minor fender bender. Asked them to also price out the cost of new headlights and a catalytic converter while it was in the shop. I don't hear from them for nearly two weeks. When I did finally hear from them, they'd gone ahead and replaced the headlights and the catalytic converter without my consent, verbal or written. The man said he had tried to call me several times asking for my permission. But when I looked at my call log, there was no record of that at all. So I had a huge bill ($4,500, not counting what insurance was paying them for the new bumper). When I picked my Land Rover up, it made all kinds of new rattles and squeaks and had a new shudder -- nothing I'd experienced with it before. So I had to take it back to them the next day. They did manage to fix the sounds but didn't explain to me what had been wrong. When I asked them why my check engine light was back on, they said their test showed it was a battery issue. But when I took it to have the battery checked, it was completely fine. Six weeks later I learned my transmission was bad and my car was essentially worthless (I was able to sell it for $2K after Hoffman had just pocked $6,000 total for repairs on it). Hoffman Collision took advantage of me, and I feel sick about how much money I spent with them. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Hoffman's Collision Inc. did not repair my vehicle properly in 2022, my parts were missing, they did not report to Progressive they returned my vehicle with a check engine light on, and hood was not properly aligned. Muhammad the manager advised they repaired my vehicle without written or oral consent from Progressive or myself, then demanded payment. When they were denied, I was threatened to have my vehicle disassembled. Muhammad threw a box with my parts at my feet in their office, and refused to tell me where my car is located or allow me to physically see my vehicle until they are paid. I have called the police, and was advised it's a civil matter although Hoffman is in unlawful possession of my vehicle. read more

I am so incredibly thankful to Hoffman's for bringing my truck back to life. I sideswiped the driver's side of it against my mailbox causing a dent and several scrapes. It's a brand new truck and I was heartbroken. Hoffman's was amazing to work with from start to finish, providing me with a fast and reasonable estimate and even loaning me a car so I didn't have to rearrange my whole life while they fixed my truck. While it wasn't the most ideal situation messing up my truck, Hoffman's made it a lot more manageable and affordable to deal with. Because of the insurance I also dealt with them on the phone. They were extremely patient in addressing my concerns and answering my questions.
