Also as I continue to pre order products from this location I have only once received a phone call on a pre order. They then also went and sold the pre order after a couple days and communicated to them I wasn't ready. They will hold other products from other customers from months at a time. Every time I have had an issue with receiving my products. I have tried to pick up other peoples products that are over 48 hours and refuse to sell it. I am canceling all my pre orders because the world has a large amount of other shops and we could easily have this one shut down and have no issues with target and Walmart being around.

They were probably warned after we left that we were evil cis, because subsequent visits were completely opposite. Or does it say more about society (or our area), that you can't just be nice to random people without them thinking the worst? So after giving them many chances, we've decided no more. They don't do anything positive for the community as a whole, just "their" community. This area deserves a better comic book shop and definitely don't bring your kids in for Pokemon cards.

The salespeople are really friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem like they enjoy their job. They'll discuss the book you're purchasing with you, and happily make more recommendations. I knew the author and title and walked up to the register to ask where I might find it, but the two employees were engaged in conversation and didn't even acknowledge my presence for at least 3 minutes. When the red-headed female employee did finally acknowledge me, it was with an irritated smirk, as if I was disturbing them. This dismissive and disrespectful behavior was repeated several times before I decided to leave. I have over 30 years experience in business ownership and retail management and this is absolutely no way to treat prospective customers. You should never make a customer wait without being acknowledged while you engage in conversation with another employee or are looking down at the register. When you do engage with a customer, you should be welcoming, friendly and polite. I see from prior reviews that I am not the only one to have experienced this kind of behavior and don't know how they've stayed in business so long with such rude employees. There are no return visits here in my future.
