Andy was the first to answer my call (my cell number is not local and many times gets ignored), he was the first to show up, he walked the property with me- we discussed options and he provided me with a quote. It was equivalent to renting the right equipment for a day, and doing it myself... except this way I didn't have to work up a sweat... sweet! He came out a few days later, arrived at the planned time and proceeded to make quick work of the stumps. He has the "right" equipment. I had run up on a few more small stumps that appeared after getting rid of some brush and he knocked them out for a fair add-on. He could have gouged me because it was obvious they needed to be gone, but he was fair and reasonable. My wife was ecstatic, so everyone was happy. This was 2 young guys who should know that knocking on strangers doors can end up going bad, really bad whether I can handle my dogs that you let out or if I am scared enough to answer the door armed. Then after I explained that our street was full of retired people or people in retirement homes they made sure to smart off.
