My wife and I were blown away by their extraordinary customer service from our very first email and call with them, all the way up through our wedding day. We worked first with Mar to choose our hotel and reserve our room block, and then with Ale for the remainder of the process, including guest coordination, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements. Both of them, along with every other employee we interacted with, were extremely pleasant, professional, and helpful. They always responded to our inquiries within 24 hours, and most times, within an hour. They always made us feel like we were in good hands. Our guests all had similar feedback, which is nice to know that not only did we receive great service, but so did our guests. On top of the excellent customer service, the wedding concessions they offer are a huge perk. Again, it almost felt too good to be true, but I can attest that they followed through on every single concession that they offered. I don't even know where to begin other than to say If you have come across this page to help you plan your destination wedding travel ... you have found the best in the business . I actually first started working with someone from Destify, but the communication just wasn't there for me. I found this site from a simple Google search and as soon as I reached out, I heard back from someone and from there I was set. I first worked with Miriam, who helped me set up my site tours and help me figure out where I even wanted to go. She really help me focus in and figure out what I wanted to do. After I figured it out the resort I wanted to use she helped me with the communication with the resort, getting the contract signed, and even getting a room block set up, which I initially wasn't sure about, but I must say it was one of the best decisions we made during this planning process . So she was always there for some great advice. She then connected me to Leticia, who took the rest from there and help me with getting my website set up for my guests to book their rooms and get all the information about the wedding from. They put up the site so quickly and made it so easy and seamless for my guest to book or ask questions. Because everything was through email I always had tons of questions and they were always so quick to answer me and treat me like I was their only client because of how great their service was. Everyone at Hola Weddings , even if one of my planners was not in the office was always great about getting back to me and treating me with such kindness . When planning a wedding there's a lot of things that you may stress it out, but they make everything on their end so easy!! They sent out the travel information to us once everything was booked and getting close to the wedding and the service they used for our pick up and drop off was excellent at communication and getting us to and from the resort I couldn't have asked for better. We tried to have a consultation with another company and they kept Pushing resorts we didn't want to stay at for various reasons but they seemed to want to push their perks vs our needs. We originally worked with Priscilla who was a patient angel with all my questions and changes to resorts. She was knowledgeable and answered promptly. And helped make the scary process great. After booking we had Diana who was also an angel and very knowledgeable. She replied quickly and helped my guest. I started with all my concerns in our first conversation and they answered directly, no minced words. Very clear! At no point did we feel unsafe or uncertain. Hola Weddings made the entire process feel secure, and we knew they were always advocating for us. The guest dashboard they provided was a fantastic tool for monitoring bookings. They were always willing to hop on a Zoom call whenever we requested it, and their reminders to guests for payments were super helpful because it was a task we didn't have to do. If you are even wondering if you should go with this company, you should! This is a legitimate company! I am so glad I found them randomly online. It seemed too good to be true, but they are in fact free and the services they provide are absolutely unmatched! They work with the resorts and get paid by them. From the initial consult to actually deciding to work with them, I have absolutely no regrets! Every single person that I've worked with has been helpful and pleasant. They even price matched the resort itself after a year had passed and helped ensure that all my guests, including my husband and I received the best price possible for our rooms! The website they fabricated for us was great and I loved how they took care of all the questions and concerns from all our guests, leaving us less stressed! There was also one point where I expressed that I wish communication would be better with my resort and Diana helped turn that around quickly! Diana worked with our group majority of the time when it came to being close to the actual wedding date, I loved how quickly she communicated with me! She also made sure to text me when I would get too busy to check my email. I am so glad to have had her when I was stressed! She was so nice and helped me stay on top of it all. Use another travel agent! No perks whatsoever. No on-site visit at a discount rate, no free round-trip transfers from the airport to the resort. They act as a middleman and get the perks you don't. Always receive an automated response when you email. Had to give them $1K 'for them to book the wedding,' but I will supposedly get it back. Make that make sense. I could have gone straight to Hard Rock Riviera Maya and booked with them, getting free transfers and better promos. I only used them because a friend recommended them, but I should have trusted my judgment and expectations. I agree with AMY S from 2023. Everything she is saying is true. read more

I am a bride who looked into several TAs and ultimately went with one (not Hola) that allows my guests to book their rooms themselves with a promo code provided by the resort. However, my decision was just validated based on a recent experience with Hola. I wanted to do a Site visit a few months prior to my wedding, so I reached out to fellow brides who are getting married the week of my site visit. I found one who is a client of Hola; she gave me the link to book my room. Hola's website was fine; it listed all the rooms and allowed me to choose the one I wanted. However, once I pressed Submit, I got an auto-generated email saying Hola would reach out within 24-48 hours to confirm my booking. I watched my email, including checking Spam and Junk folders daily (I work in IT and am aware of those risks). NINE days went by before they finally emailed me explaining that my desired room type is no longer available and asking to book me in a different room type. That is unacceptable, especially if your resort often sells out. Guests should be able to book their room the same day that they provide their room preference. When I replied and told them that I no longer needed them since I found another bride who allowed me to book directly within minutes using their resort Promo code, they replied asking for my confirmation number so they could add it as their booking! Ridiculous; they did nothing and then wanted to get commission off my booking. I replied with "no; I booked it with another bride's promo code; I was tired of waiting for you to reply". Then they replied saying "we emailed you the next day; it must have gone into your spam folder". As I mentioned, that was not true. They are now not only ineffective, but they are liars (and even if they had emailed me right away and it had gone into my Spam folder, the "new" email yesterday would have landed there as well, lol). I'm sure they tell their brides that story as well when guests complain about not hearing back from them. I am so glad I did not choose Hola as my TA for my wedding. Btw: I would not have decided to share this story and write a review if they hadn't lied about emailing me sooner; I caution you not to work with a company that does not have integrity. read more

We had a wonderful experience using Hola Weddings for our wedding last month at Atelier Playa Mujeres! Samantha Velasco and Ivette Riquelme were our coordinators that helped us and our guests throughout the entire process. They were fast to respond and extremely thorough. Hola Weddings set up all of the transfers through Lomas Travel which was amazing since everyone had private transportation in either a limo or SUV. Sam was also great about coordinating details down to the bridal party hair and makeup! We even got a special visit from the owner himself, Jeff, who brought custom made maracas! This company is literally a MESS! They booked my booking and credited my payment to someone else with the same first name. Yes, they rectified it after emails, phone calls, and bride involvement. They also never sent a paid in full receipt with our fee breakdown. We booked the transportation through them for 8 people including 3 little kids arriving in the middle of the night (which is why it was more necessary than arranging at the Cancun airport upo arrival). They stood us up. Then they also didn't provide transportation to the airport for the 5 others left in our party due to their error. We have YET to get our reimbursement which, according to them has to be issued by the transportation company. Not my problem since I paid THEM and the service wasn't provided. It was terrible, and we were not the only guests who had issues with them. I speak English and Spanish and neither language served me right in dealing with them either. I was very disappointed with Hola Weddings. We heard such great things and read great reviews but did not have that experience. I will say that the Hola team was very responsive and friendly, but at the end of the day did not deliver the service that was agreed upon. Most of our guests had issues booking and would come to my husband and I to resolve these issues when Hola couldn't figure it out. This created so much more headache and work on our end, when we chose to work with Hola to make things easier. The whole process of working with Hola, from start to finish, had many bumps in the road and caused so much stress.
