At points where my husband and I were struggling to make decisions, they figured out how to get us extra time but were also clear when there wasn't wiggle room. Michelle was an incredible full-service planner for our weekend wedding at Banyan Tree Mayakoba. From the beginning of the process over a year before the big day, she was incredibly warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable about both the region, vendors, and the resort in particular. We knew we wanted to have our wedding at the resort, and she was the perfect pick... she used to be the former Events/Wedding director at the resort! Michelle made vendor selection a breeze. Instead of having to spend hours poring through the thousands of different photographer/videographers, florists, makeup, audio/visual, decor, etc vendors, she had a narrowed list of 2-3 that we chose from, and all were excellent options. Where Michelle & her team really shined was on-site execution. We came down for on site visits twice prior to the wedding for vendor meetings & tastings as we had 6 events across 4 days for our wedding, and Michelle's planning for all the pre-meetings were incredibly well thought out and efficiently scheduled, she handled all the admin with the hotel, and ultimately made our lives a trillion times easier not having to do any of the coordination. Michelle came through with unique and creative solutions for problems that we had, assisted with thoughts on how to lower the price of certain quotes, and had incredible suggestions/options for our gift bags. Best part, her and her team got all of the gift bags made locally (printed customized totes), sourced all the goodies for the bags, and then assembled them for us!!! Was a tremendous help in making the wedding weekend more enjoyable for us as the bride and groom/wedding party. On the actual wedding weekend, Michelle and her team were with us coordinating every part of every event. She had a dedicated planner with the bridal party all day to keep us on schedule, another planner for the grooms party, other event planners coordinating vendor set ups, while she managed the entire team. Each event was beautifully appointed and honestly was better than we could have imagined. Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and was in a huge part thanks to Michelle and her team. Most of all, working with her and the team allowed my husband and I to actually enjoy our own party as they completely took care of all of the details. Wow, where do we even begin?! I knew from my first ever phone call with Michelle, that she was the one we needed in order to make our Tulum wedding dreams come true. She was so easy to talk to, listened to our wants / needs, offered her advice and was up front with us when it came to budgets. Michelle and her team planned my wedding at the beautiful banyan tree in mayakoba and i cannot say enough good things about the planning process and events she put together. I have to give Michelle a lot of credit -It was an extremely challenging wedding to plan , as it was a destination wedding at the height of the omicron spike and half of our guests dropped out the week of our wedding (bringing it from a 220 person wedding to a 100 person wedding) and Michelle and team adapted to the changes flawlessly and made it easy for me to enjoy the days leading up to my wedding. My Perfect Wedding Mexico was exactly what we were looking for when we started to plan our wedding in Playa del Carmen. Having a destination wedding was our dream and we knew it could also come with many challenges having to plan it from afar. As I started looking for a wedding planner, the style of their previous work caught my eye. Their previous weddings reflected elegance and gracefulness in the Rivera Maya. Having Maria and Michelle made everything incredibly easy. Maria was incredible at walking us through every detail from the beginning. Maria and Michelle were open and supportive of our vision; they scheduled calls and video conference to understand our goals and vision for our day. They answered every question and concern we had. They helped us narrow down the overwhelming list of options regarding venues, vendors, and many more decisions a wedding entails. They provided the best options for us to choose from. They communicated our wishes to all of our vendors in a timely manner. They also kept detail track of our expenses and our budget. They provided me with the guidance during the planning phase regarding every single detail from the arrival of our guests, timeline of our wedding week, the actual ceremony, to our departure. After we had finalized all the details for our wedding in 2020, the most unexpected challenge for a bride-to-be happened--a pandemic. This was so incredibly stressful and I couldn't have faced this challenge without this power team. Maria and Michelle were so amazing in helping me navigate having to postpone the wedding several times and dealing with so much uncertainty at that time. They contacted our venue and each vendor one by one to change wedding dates, number of guests, and advocated for our needs as best as possible. They were so attentive, understanding, and quick to respond to any emails, calls, changes, and concerns during this time as well. Finally in 2021, our wedding trip came. They were still as friendly, supportive, and attentive after 2 1/2 years of planning. They really were the dream team the day of the wedding and even the entire week we were in Playa. They took charge of the timeline of the wedding week and even helped me plan activities such as the rehearsal dinner, tours, and catamaran trips, including transportation for our entire group of guest (25-30 people) the week leading up to the wedding. They went above and beyond. All of our guests were so impressed with how organized and smooth everything went. Needless to say, they made sure the actual wedding day was absolutely perfect- and it was. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day experience. I did not have to worry about anything the day of my wedding. They took care of it all: the guests, the wedding party, transportation for guests to the venue, the timeline, etc. My only job was to be fully present, stress free, and enjoying every second of that day-from the getting ready to our last song. In December 2017, Michelle and the entire team at My Perfect Wedding truly made our wedding PERFECT. Michelle worked with me and my now husband for over a year to create the destination wedding of our dreams. Prior to hiring Michelle we had worked with another wedding planner who left us feeling very disappointed and discouraged about having a destination wedding. That planner never made it truly feel as if it was "our" wedding we were planning, but someone else's vision of our wedding. To show her immediate dedication and love of her craft, every time we were vacationing in the area, Michelle would make it a point to visit us at our hotel, to simply chat about the wedding and get to know us better. With every communication, we began to feel more and more at ease about having a wedding nearly 3,000 miles away. Michelle was extremely well organize, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. We had three full days of events for our wedding and with Michelle's help every event was executed perfectly and to the highest of standards. She understood how important our guest happiness was to us and how small details can make all the difference. Michelle was also in constant contact with the hotel wedding planner and worked with them to make sure everything was on track. I can't stress enough how even if the hotel your getting married at has a wedding planner Michelle is still essential! Thinking back to all of the planning and coordination that needed to happen for all of our events, there is absolutely no way it could have come together so well without Michelle. The way she interacted with all of the other vendors and hotel management staff was a sight to behold. Michelle is a truly humble and unassuming individual, but when it comes to making things happen and getting all of the vendors and support staff in gear, you feel like you're in the presence of a giant. On the day of our wedding we were completely relaxed and happy and didn't need to worry about a single detail. Michelle had meticulous timelines for the entire wedding weekend detailing each event and every item included for the event (from how many tables, chairs, forks, flowers etc). Everything was executed perfectly and beautifully! I later found out Michelle even watched my niece as she slept in her stroller during the wedding! You might be able to find a wedding planner that will sell you a Pinterest and Instagram copycat dream, but Michelle makes sure that what you have on your wedding day is yours and yours alone.
