The car port had a slanted surface, and its offset from the driveway made it tricky to enter. I wished to be able to drive my Forester straight in and straight out. Jeremy and I considered several alternatives and came up with a plan. He dug out the slanted area to level the surface and cut back a small hillside that rose toward my neighbor. To hold the soil in place, he created a pressure-treated wood bulkhead against the hillside to maintain this modification in place. He then planted decorative grasses on the dirt slope to hold the soil together. On the new surface he packed gravel stones in place of concrete, to save on cost. Throughout he was most cheerful and accommodating, explaining everything he did to insure my understanding. I was pleased enough that I later asked him to build a pergola that my wife and I wished to have behind our house, attached to the rear of the garage, to provide a shady place to sit outdoors. Jeremy came up with a plan at a reasonable price, deposited the materials needed within a very few days, and then showed up with a most competent crew to construct this shelter. It was perfect, exactly what we wanted. It is sturdy, attached to the rear of the garage and resting on solid timbers. It has a metal roof and an effective draining system. It can easily withstand a gale force wind. We have furnished the space and are very pleased. Wii Care+ is a most reliable, responsive, and efficient contractor, capable of taking on numerous projects. He is generous with occasional extras and does not rest until his client is fully satisfied. Whatever you'd like to build, ask him to bid on it and he will perform to your complete satisfaction.

Even more concerning, Bussie Contracting Services is an illegally operating business that is NOT licensed as a residential contractor in the State of Georgia, which is a clear violation of O.C.G.A. § 43-41-2 and § 43-41-17, which require a valid PLB-issued license for residential projects exceeding $2,500. My project was well over that amount. As a result, I am currently preparing to file a formal complaint with the Georgia Professional Licensing Board, which has the authority to: * Investigate and take legal action against unlicensed contractors, * Impose civil penalties up to $5,000 per violation, and * Shut down unlicensed construction businesses and prohibit them from operating in Georgia. If you're considering hiring this company, verify their licensing status carefully. I strongly advise others not to make the same mistake I did.

Two informed me that "no" I could not have a drywall ceiling, that I was stuck with a drop ceiling; "no" we can not put a pocket door in this wall; "no" we can't remove a wall. And then there was Mike! I knew from our first telephone conversation that he was the one! I was right! I have a beautiful tray ceiling of drywall, I have a perfect pocket door and there is no more divider wall. Mike spent 1 1/2 hours with me in my basement during the bid process. He is one of the nicest men I have met. He is kind and thoughtful. He listens and then translates builder language into words that I could understand. Mike was so thorough! He noticed a wall that had been built incorrectly and suggested he rebuild it correctly. This will allow me to mount a TV on that wall! He took the time to remove several of the existing drop ceiling tiles and really looked to see what was happening above the tiles and said "yes" we can do a drywall ceiling. Mike suggested other little things like where I planned to mount the TV and he installed the outlet high on the wall to avoid the TV cord being seen. He suggested moving a wall out into the room 20 inches so that the future bathroom would be bigger. I never realized how small that bathroom would be, but Mike did, and his idea was perfect. There were also so many extras that Mike just took care of for me that saved me time and money. I really appreciate his kindness! I am blown away by my new basement. It used to be dark and dreary, and I never used that room. Now it is my favorite room in the house. Bussie started the day they said they would start and finished one day earlier than expected and even came in UNDER the original budget. You will not meet a nicer man and he will do what he says he will do and even go the extra mile to make the customer happy! I can't wait to have Bussie Contracting back to my house for a porch rebuild, kitchen and bathroom remodel as soon as possible!

TLDR: nope! Oh boy,…read morewhere do I even start? First of all, at the beginning of our kitchen remodel project, we were told that the completion time would be 7-8 weeks. We started mid-October and the project was not completed until LATE-FEBRUARY. That's 20 weeks--- almost 3x the amount of time we were told in the beginning. And yes, sure, everyone always says it'll take longer than you initially expect but this was completely absurd. Delays were caused by ProBuid's lack of communication amongst its subcontractors, resulting in work being done incorrectly and needing to be redone (often more than once). There were also days where no one showed up at all, even though I was expecting them, because other projects took priority over ours, apparently. We felt completely forgotten. Further, when I'd try to get in touch with the owners I'd have to call MULTIPLE times and send MULTIPLE texts before getting a response. Speaking further to the general disorganization of the team, each subcontractor had no idea what the plan was for the remodel, so I had to print multiple sets of plans for each person that arrived. I was asked questions about the plans that I shouldn't have to answer because I wasn't an actual person employed on this project. I have a full-time job and did not have time for this. Upon project "completion" we were left with piles (about $2500 worth, lolol) of unused IKEA cabinetry that we had to haul back to return ourselves, tools not belonging to us, and trash (both in the house and all over the yard). Further, the kitchen may be functional and finished, but there's paint all over a window that wasn't cleaned up, some unfinished trimwork, staple gun holes not spackled and painted, outlets without covers (and one that doesn't even work), etc. In short, this was a cheapish kitchen and it looks exactly like that. I'm completely flabbergasted that so much time and stress resulted in something just mediocre. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Towards the end of the project, we had continual problems with leaks from the sink/dishwasher re-installation. The co-owner and two of his workers returned four times trying to fix it. The fifth time we hired a plumber ourselves. What we found out was upsetting: Not only had the work not been done by a licensed plumber, they had also used a non-code compliant part in the plumbing. We also have minor water damage to a panel next to the dishwasher on our brand new kitchen. Although they have offered to come out and replace the panel, we have declined because we don't want them messing with our dishwasher and plumbing again. Some minor issues we had: 1. They scheduled us a week earlier than planned because they said they could fit us in. They demolished our kitchen and then told us we now had to wait one week until the cabinet installer would be available. They did provide us with a temporary sink and reinstalled our stove to use, which we did appreciate. 2. The co-owner was late to our very first appointment and was not very verbal with what was going on unless we specifically asked him. 3. Co-owner laid out the design and then when the cabinet installer came, he changed that design which caused the electrical wiring to be in the wrong place. This in the end, delayed us at least 2 days. 4. When demolition was done, none of our appliances were covered to protect them. 5. Floors were left a complete mess and have scuff marks on them now. What went well? 1. Designer was very helpful and spent four hours with us to design our kitchen plan. 2. The worker who did the demo and original electrical work was helpful and flexible. 3. The cabinet installer was very thorough and communicative, everything was done professionally. Throughout the entire process we were told "Once it's done you're going to love it". Well, yeah, of course. But the whole process is part of the customer experience. Unfortunately, our experience was less than stellar.
