Monday I talked to mechanic and it was arranged to replace to two front tires. When I returned a week later March 13 2026 to pick up my vehicle the shop denied any wrong doing; But March 21st, i was told by a Neighbor that my vehicle was placed on top of the 10 foot snow back in front of the store for maybe total of 2 days of March 9th 2026. I paid for the two new front tires and left to go shopping and then; I looked under the vehicle and the sway bar on the driver's rear side was broken off. I went back to Stop & Steer mechanic shop. The shop denied anything happened. They take joyrides in your vehicle if left there and or some mechanic employed with this shop is taking advantage of customers. Beware! One of their mechanics or all are playing games with a customer who entrusts them with your own vehicle. Lack of experts here! Sad taken advantage of since I am a senior and a woman!

Wow! Someone who does not know how to run a business or to make/keep customers…read more I booked an appointment to get my wheel bearings done. I expected that I was going to go and have the work done same day. 1) I get there and he doesn't listen to me when I tell him that I hear the noise. ("Well you're a girl"). 2) when he realizes it is finally the wheel bearings, he tells me ballpark price is $700/side which was highly inflated - yes he was going to call around to get prices but not til later in the day (on a Friday). I called after to the dealership and they quoted $1163 taxes in for both). 3) says there is a safety concern and shouldn't drive long distances, but yet wants me to wait til next week for the work to be done. I don't have the luxury or option to not drive to work which is 100km away. 4) tells me that he's going to price parts and try to schedule me in next week. Well next week doesn't work - I thought I was getting it done today. So my husband found parts and decided he would do it himself. We called Rob to let him know and he blasts my husband on the phone for not even giving him a chance and how he wasted an hour on the vehicle (drove the car 3x for maybe 30sec-1min and then put the vehicle up finally on the hoist for maybe 15-20 mins). He said that we better pay him $40 for his time and how he wished he never helped us. Seriously? I called back to as I was unhappy with how he handled the situation - "you get a little more with honey" and would have had no problem paying for his time if he was a bit more pleasant about it. He continued to cut me off and didn't want to hear what I had to say and said "I did my job right" before hanging up. I do not suggest anyone using this business.
