There was lots of parking in this plaza of box stores. I parked in front of the store and looked at its exterior. It screamed Future Shop. I walked in. I saw a sign to the washrooms. It seemed like a good suggestion. They were on the left when you first walk in, by the appliances. The women's washroom was nicely maintained. No complaints here. I looked at all things Google Pixel. There were Pixel watches, both 1 and 2. There was a sale on fabric bands. The nice thing about these watches is that the bands fit both models. I then looked at Google Pixel phones and accessories. The selection was better than I had expected. I hit the phone accessories section, including car mounts. There was so much to take in. It was enjoyable. The wearable section was cool. I don't know why Garmin watches are so expensive, but it was nice to look at the various models. I'm glad these watches have round faces. The small appliances were cool. I saw everything from an Instant Pot air fryer to tea kettles that heat up in no time. I didn't buy anything. I had a nice time perusing. It's a good store where associates let you browse without aggressively asking if you need anything within the first thirty seconds that you have set foot into the store. I dig it. I came to this store to fix the problem with the speaker on my MacBook Air 2018. I have a Best Buy…read morewarranty for 3 years, and also the Apple warranty has not expired yet. But in this store they refused to fix the problem with the speaker and sent me to Apple, which I will have to get about 2 hours. In conclusion, I want to tell you not to buy a warranty on laptops or anything from this store, since you will spend your money on nothing, because they simply refuse to repair your thing.

Had an install date arranged which they didn't show up. I called after waiting over an hour, got voice mail and left a message. They didn't call back after 2 hours so I drove over. The receptionist was new and didn't know what was happening, she called Darren and he said an emergency came up in Whitby and would be there the next morning. Well, they didn't show up again or call. Finally after the 3rd time not showing up the installers came but almost 3 hours late. 2 guys showed up, only 1 guy spoke English but that wasn't a problem until the lead guy left after less than 2 hours, said he had a family emergency and he would either be back or someone else would come. He returned about 2 1/2 hours later. They installed 4 cameras, when the lead guy was doing the work inside he damaged the paint on the wall and left scrap material on the floor. When he was connecting the cameras to the monitor box he found one of the cameras wasn't for the system we purchased, that camera was disconnected and we were told they would be back the next day to install the correct camera. Over a week later and numerous phone calls we finally got the other camera installed. Darren told us the installer would show us how to use the system but the installer didn't know apparently and said Darren would show us. Again, repeatedly called Darren who never called back or made an appointment to come and didn't show up. We ended up going to the store again and spoke to Darren. He didn't even know how the system works. A another customer came in while we were there asking for his refund because he was double charged. The cameras were paid in full before installed due to payment required on installation and it was processed on the date of the supposed first date. 2 months later we get an invoice for the camera they had to replace and installation of the camera. We didn't make the mistake, Skyview did then tried to charge us for it. This is the shadiest company we have ever dealt with. Darren makes excuses, blames other people and has no idea what customer service is.

Took my Aurora R7 for a dagnostic last Tuesday. Was told 3-5 business days. Seemed long, but I…read moreagreed. Dumb decision. Three business days in, I call, checking for an update. Get told "oh, we're a day behind due to the snow, but it's on our desk now". Fair enough. I wait. Another few business days, through the weekend. I call back. Ask for an update. Get told "oh, it's on our desk now, you're next". Okay. So it shouldn't be long now. I wait. Check in the next day: different guy. He reassures me "its on our desk". I tell him ive heard that 3 times now. He tells me he'll call me back in an hour. An hour and 15 minutes later, 4:20, I go to the store. No lights, nobody's there. Door's unlocked. Place supposedly closes at 5. Go in, there's nobody around. Ring the bell a few times, then leave. Got my computer back 20 minutes ago. Tech made up some BS to the girl running their desk. It's pretty clear he hasn't even touched the PC yet. It's been over a week and a half at this point. Skyview electronics is a waste of your time and money. The place is dodgy, business hours seem to be a suggestion, and the customer service, while polite, was devoid of use. At best buy now. They're going to be a bit more expensive, but this is actually getting done.

Clerk advised he needed to know the laptop model as we did not we drove home and brought it back Entered store and his college said to me he could not look it up by model number he needed the actual laptop ! Well I should of bee told to bring in the actual laptop ! Which is strange I bought in the past laptop chargers and never was told bring in the entire laptop ( but thats okay ) He did not want to be bothered to look it up on his computer and I insisted ! then when the initial sales clerk came he then changed the story and said he asked he did ask me for the model number if I was in the store but said he told me to bring in the entire laptop ! WHat a liar !!!!!!! But he decided to make an elaborate scene to impress the other college . I told him to stop it and move on ! Because I know you cant debate with a LIAR !!!! They looked it up he came back and he started to go on to impress his colleague next to him the same thing !!! Trying to belittle me ! I finally got mad and said , " I told you just to move on so I can complete my purchase and since you continue I want to let you know I will be going live on facebook to show how you deal with customers " He immediately stopped !!!!!! Unimpressed with the lies and the low professionalism experience today !

Went to the Oshawa location on black Friday to purchase a GPU. After waiting in line my brother and…read moreI showed our phones which had the ad for the GPU open to the employee behind the counter. After looking at the ad, the employee grabbed our two GPUs and brought them to the counter behind the cash. After having the GPUs placed in a bag and only then put on the checkout counter we were able to pay. After purchasing the GPUs we walked outside and quickly took the boxes out of the bags. To our surprise the GPUs we had been given were not the ones we had asked for. After returning to the store not even 2 minutes later were told by several employees including the manager Dan S, that we would not be able to return our items until after the weekend had ended. Absolutely ridiculous rule considering we had not been allowed to hold or even look at the product until after checkout. The only reason they get 2 stars is because there was no hassle when returning the GPUs.

These guys are the best…read more Fast and way cheaper than Best Buy or the box stores. They will also take your old electronics and recycle them!!
